肥满度和胴体重长指标作为衡量动物对环境适应的生理指标和营养状况的综合指标,研究其变化规律,对于了解动物身体状况的优劣具有十分重要的意义。通过对2014—2020年贵州省余庆县旱地生境捕获的78只高山姬鼠的肥满度和胴体重长指标进行... 肥满度和胴体重长指标作为衡量动物对环境适应的生理指标和营养状况的综合指标,研究其变化规律,对于了解动物身体状况的优劣具有十分重要的意义。通过对2014—2020年贵州省余庆县旱地生境捕获的78只高山姬鼠的肥满度和胴体重长指标进行比较分析,结果表明,高山姬鼠平均肥满度为(2.91±0.46)g·cm^(-3),平均胴体重长指标为(1.85±0.35)g/cm,不同性别间高山姬鼠肥满度和胴体重长指标无显著差异,但雌鼠妊娠会造成肥满度和胴体重长指标的增加;种群年龄组成与肥满度和胴体重长指标的变化规律呈正相关;季节变化会造成肥满度和胴体重长指标的变化,肥满度随季节的变化不会产生显著差异,但胴体重长指标随季节的变化会产生显著差异或极显著差异;肥满度和胴体重长指标均随年度的变化有所变化,但两者间的变化规律不同。 展开更多

旨在探究IQCA1、PARS2及ANO7多态性与胸椎数和胴体长的相关性,筛选提高绵羊胴体品质的重要分子标记。利用Sequenom MassARRAY^(■)SNP技术检测苏尼特羊和小尾寒羊2个绵羊群体与胴体性状相关候选基因IQCA1、PARS2及ANO7单核苷酸多态性(SN... 旨在探究IQCA1、PARS2及ANO7多态性与胸椎数和胴体长的相关性,筛选提高绵羊胴体品质的重要分子标记。利用Sequenom MassARRAY^(■)SNP技术检测苏尼特羊和小尾寒羊2个绵羊群体与胴体性状相关候选基因IQCA1、PARS2及ANO7单核苷酸多态性(SNPs)位点,进行群体遗传学分析,并与表型性状进行关联分析。结果表明,IQCA1基因g.4692837G>A,PARS2基因g.30789785C>T、g.30789946T>A、g.30789995C>T、g.30790544T>C和ANO7基因g.535119G>A、g.535343T>C、g.541221C>T、g.541186T>C共计9个SNPs位点在小尾寒羊和苏尼特羊中均与胸椎数不显著相关(P>0.05)。SNPs与胴体长相关性分析结果表明,小尾寒羊群体中,IQCA1 g.4692837G>A,PARS2 g.30789785C>T、g.30789946T>A、g.30789995C>T、g.30790544T>C,ANO7 g.535119G>A、g.535343T>C、g.541221C>T、g.541186T>C位点均与胴体长不显著相关(P>0.05)。综上所述,在苏尼特羊群体中,IQCA1、PARS2与ANO7的SNPs位点与胸椎数性状均不显著相关。在小尾寒羊群体中,IQCA1、PARS2与ANO7的SNPs位点与胸椎数和胴体长性状也均不显著相关。 展开更多

Quantitative trait loci (QTL) were detected for 8 internal organ traits, 3 carcass length traits, and teat number trait in 214 pigs in a resource population that included 180 F2 individuals. A total of 39 microsatellite markers were examined on SSC4, SSC6, SSC7, SSC8, and SSC13. The genetic traits included heart weight (HW), lung weight (LW), liver and gallbladder weight (LGW), spleen weight (SPW), stomach weight (STW), small intestine weight (S1W), large intestine weight (LIW), kidney weight (KW), carcass length to the first cervical vertebra (CL1), carcass length to the first thoracic vertebra (CL2), rib numbers (RNS), and teat numbers (TNS). Results indicated that, 3 highly significant QTL (P≤0.01 at chromosome-wise level) for HW (at 30 cM on SSC6), RNS (at 115 cM on SSC7), TNS (at 110 cM on SSC7), and 6 significant QTL (P≤0.05 at chromosome-wise level) for LW (at 119 cM on SSC13), LGW (at 94 cM on SSC6), SPW (at 106 cM on SSC8), SIW (0 cM on SSC4), LIW (170 cM on SSC 4), and TNS (at 95 cM on SSC6) were detected. The phenotypic variances for which these QTL were accounted ranged from 0.04 % to 14.06 %. Most of these QTL had not been previously reported. 展开更多

Effects of Dietary Supplementation with Cysteamine on Performance, Carcass Characteristics, Meat Quality and Antioxidant Status in Finishing Pigs 被引量:5

The current study was to investigate the effects of cysteamine (CS) on carcass characteristics, meat quality, and antioxidant status in finishing pigs. A total of 24 crossbred (PIC variety) finishing pigs (60.05±1.24 kg, 12 gilts and 12 barrows) were assigned randomly to one of the three dietary groups, with four pens/group (one gilt and one barrow per pen). Pigs were fed with a basal diet containing 0 (control), 70, or 140 mg/kg CS for 47 days. The results indicated that dietary CS supplementation increased (P〈0.05) the average daily gain and feed intake with optimal responses occurring at 70 mg/kg. Dietary supplementation of CS increased (P〈0.05) the dressing percentage and lean percentage of finishing pigs with optimal responses occurring at 140 mg/kg. The CS supplementation, however, had no effect (P〉0.05) on meat quality. Dietary CS supplementation increased (P〈0.05) total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) and decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) with optimal responses occurring at 70 mg/kg. CS supplementation at both 70 mg/kg and 140 mg/kg doses improved (P〈0.05) the muscle RNA/DNA ratio. Collectively, the results suggest dietary supplementation of 70 mg/kg CS could significantly improve growth performance and antioxidant status without adverse effects on the gastrointestinal tracts in finishing pigs while the 140 mg/kg CS supplementation improved the carcass quality. In order to evaluate the effect of crossbreeding on growth performance and carcass traits, Afshari and Fashandi rams crossed with Zandi ewes. 45 Afshari x Zandi and 30 Fashandi x Zandi lambs recorded in a period of 100 days feedlot. Daily weight gain and dry matter intake significantly affected by crossbreeding which were the highest in Afshari x Zandi group (0.180 ± 0.004 and 1.415 ±0.025, respectively), but it had no effect on feed conversion ratio. The genetic group affected final feedlot weight, empty body weight, warm carcass weight and carcass efficiency which Afshari ± Zandi group had higher amounts (44.70 ± 1.25 kg, 38.85 1.05 kg, 22.63 ± 0.95 kg and 58.63 ±0.77%, respectively). The breed of ram lambs had no significant effect on the percentage of thigh, loin, shoulder', brisket, fat tail, tallow and total removal fat; however the percentage of thigh was different between two crossbred groups. This study was carried out to investigate the growth performance, carcass yield and meat quality of large-type Korean native ducks (KND). A total of 420 day-old ducklings were divided into four treatments (seven replicates/treatment, 15 birds/replicate) by strains (A and B) and gender (male and female) in a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement under complete randomized design. The body weight (BW) of female KND was higher at week 2 and for male it was higher in week 8 (P 〈 0.05). BW gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio of male KND were higher than those of female KND (P 〈 0.05) during week 0 to week 8. The carcass yield of both strains increased from 6 weeks to 8 weeks (P 〈 0.05). The breast meat ratio was the highest at week 8 whereas the leg meat ratio was the highest at 6 weeks of age in both strains (P 〈 0.01). Lightness (L*), yellowness (b*) and juiciness of meat were the highest at 6 weeks (P 〈 0.05). Moisture, ash and fat contents of meat were the highest at 7 weeks (P 〈 0.05) and protein content was the highest at 8 weeks (P 〈 0.01). These results may provide the basic data on growth performance and meat quality of large-type KND, which can be used for genetic improvements and rearing at commercial scale. 展开更多
