论中职德育教师职业素养修炼的三重境界

本文结合笔者参加江苏省"两课"评比活动的体验与感悟,阐述对中职德育教师职业素养修炼三重境界的认识:一是传经入道的"经师";二是授业精道的"能师";三是解惑悟道的"人师"。从经师、能师到人师,是中职德育教师职业人格素养修炼由外到内、由低到高逐步发展和境界提升的根本路径,也是中职教师赢得职业幸福的一种方式与智慧。

The ＂Competent Literary＂ Teacher： The New Perspectives of Initial Teacher Training

The aim of the paper is to describe the literary competence of teachers as a dimension of the knowledge for the teaching, which can be extended to all aspects of the professional teacher transformation. Among the various knowledge, competences, and dispositions the shape its legacy, the literary competence becomes the main turning point between pedagogical knowledge and specialized knowledge, between core and characterizing disciplines. The literary competence lives in the intersection between different kinds of competence （linguistic competence, communication competence, reading competence, writing competences, interpretive competence, discursive competence, cultural competence, cross-cultural competence, pragmatic and strategic competence and social competence）. The approach offers a framework for pedagogy of the literary competence in the teacher training as substantial experience and expertise able to increase the professional repertoire of teachers in training fields. This paper provides food for thought for enrichment and enhancement of the literary competence and its use in teaching.

Teaching for physical literacy: Implications to instructional design and PETE

Physical education teachers play an important role in helping students＇ development of the motor skills needed to be physically literate individuals. Research suggests that teacher made instructional design decisions can lead to enhanced motor skill learning. After presenting a model of evidence-based research this paper presents information that will help teachers plan and execute lessons designed to improve students＇ motor skills. Variables that impact motor skill learning in physical education including time, type of practice, content, presentation and organizational strategies, and student skill level are presented and discussed. A brief section on student attitudes, their relation to motor skill learning and to physical literacy is included. Motor skills are needed for physically literate people to enjoy lifelong physical activity. Physical education teachers and the decisions they make contribute to students＇ learning and whether the goal of physical literacy is met.

Brief analysis of English teaching in vocational institutes

Nowadays, as the international exchange of China becomes increasingly more and China＇s international status has been greatly improved, cross-cultural communication presents its importance in all walks of our life. In vocational institutes, especially institutes of foreign languages, how to train talented persons who can not only speak English fluently and adapt to the market economy, but also professionals with various skills is the most important task. This paper analyzes the problems existing in English teaching in vocational institutes at present and discusses how to sort them out successfully.

Seasonal variations in the energy budget of Elliot's pheasant (Syrmaticus ellioti) in cage

This study aimed to discuss the energy budget of Elliot's pheasant Syrmaticus ellioti in different seasons, with life and health, good growth and normal digestion of Elliot's pheasant as the tested objects, The energy budget of Elliot's pheasant was measured by daily collection of the trial pheasants' excrement in the biological garden of Guangxi Normal University from March 2011 to February 2012. The results showed that the gross energy consumption, metabolic energy and excrement energy varied by season, increasing as temperature decreased. There was significant difference in gross energy consumption, metabolic energy, excrement energy between adults and nonages. There was also a trend that food digestibility of pheasants increases as temperature increases. In the same season, the food digestibility of adults was better than that of nonages. Throughout spring, summer, autumn and winter, the metabolic energy of 4-year adults were 305.77±13.40 kJ/d, 263.67±11.89 kJ/d, 357.23±25.49 kJ/d and 403.12±24.91 kJ/d, respectively, and the nonages were 284.86±17.22 kJ/d, 284. 66±15.16 kJ/d, 402. 26±31.46 kJ/d and 420. 30±31.98 kJ/d, respectively. The minimum metabolic energies were 247.65±21.81 g, 265.86±26.53 g, respectively for each group, detected between 4-year adults and 1-year nonages. Further study is needed to determine whether 29.6 C is the optimal temperature for the Elliot's pheasant.

Unseen Observation

Classroom observation is an essential area that needs to be further investigated due to the role it plays in teachers professional development. However, there is a great dispute about the viability of the current practices by those responsible to evaluate and support teachers. This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of a new supervisory method called ＂Unseen Observation＂ （henceforth UO）, a strategy where teachers sit for a pre/post-lesson discussions but with no observer in class. Teachers were interviewed to measure their perceptions of the new method. Various findings were reached as to the level of satisfaction by teachers and their abilities to reflect on their lessons without the presence of the observer in their lessons

Mobile Learning： Taking Education to a New Level

Technological advances are taking a major role in every field of our life. Today, younger generation is more attached to technology, immerging it mostly for social purposes. Therefore, the importance of its existence cannot be ignored. For that, it is the time for every mentor to apply technology to education. Instructors from different majors need to realize that integrating technology into education is a powerful tool that helps them moderate their course, but never a replacement to their existence. This paper＇s interest is to deliver a personal experience to other instructors on how to correctly use technology for educational purposes. One way of clarifying this point is to shed light on a very common social application that is WhatsApp. It is a social application available on every smartphone that is usually used as a social medium among users from different generation. This paper used WhatsApp as an application that can associate technology with leaming and teachers＇ moderation and collaboration under one roof, and that is by applying Mobile learning. One main question to rise at this point is whether students are going to be collaborative or not with their teacher in applying technology into education. There will be an anticipated approach from this paper on both Mobile learning and WhatsApp, that is to reach an agreement that Mobile learning is essential and adds value to the educational material we have in hand. Great examples from my own data are going to be presented to encourage others to predict new ways that can be added to my effort and others as well. The result hoped for after this paper is to be able to answer any digital immigrants＇ questions and help them to be more confident with technology.

Exploration of Professional Practice Teaching Skill of Higher Vocational English Education

Higher vocational English education major is an important channel to train teaching staff for primary and secondary schools of China and professional skill is one of essential factors which forms the training goal of higher vocational English education.In view of this, this article summarizes the current status of practice teaching of higher vocational English education which aims to explore a set of teaching ideas, teaching modes and teaching theories that suit professional skills training practice of higher vocational education, so as to find some effective teaching methods for professional skill training practice to meet the social requirements for the graduates and pave the way for their future employment.

On Cultivation of Higher Vocational Education Teachers

This thesis makes an analysis of the current situation of higher vocational education teachers, illustrates professional ability constitution of teachers engaged in higher vocational education, and discusses the approaches to cultivate young teachers. It finally arrives at a conclusion that in order to enable young teachers to grow into excellent higher vocational education teachers, there should be the cultivation of creativity of young teachers on the basis of cultivation of general ability and special ability; moreover, young teachers should be continuously encouraged, vocational education recognition be improved, and vocational education teachers construction be stabilized.

Emerging Research Efficacy Through Scaffolded Research Practice: An EFL Preservice Teacher Autobiographical Narrative

EFL preservice teachers ’ research efficacy, as perceived competence to perform tasks in research, is crucial to their research engagement. This autobiographical narrative inquiry investigates the contribution of scaffolded research practice to a female EFL preservice teacher ’s research efficacy.The data were collected through conversations, notes, journals, and portfolios. The findings suggest that teacher research efficacy was pliable through scaffolded research practice. It emerged gradually over time, in different places with social and personal interaction. The factors contributing to the emerging research efficacy were: teacher educators ’ support, peers ’ support,and research participation. The study sheds light on teacher educators and EFL preservice teachers,with the intention of establishing an inquiry-based pedagogy for M.Ed. programs.

Igniting the Statistical Spark in the Social Sciences—Abilities, Student Feedback and Teacher Observations

A quasi-experimental design was used to measure file impacts on student attainment in statistics, mathematics and critical thinking （16-18 years of age） on an experimental group who received a 21 week long contextualised statistics course （called the Pilot Scheme in SA （social analytics））, in South Wales. This paper will discuss the changes in statistical abilities observed, student feedback from the course and also teacher observations, in relation to the Pilot Scheme in SA. Results suggest that the course did lead to increase in students＇ abilities, in comparison to two control groups. Whereas students in both control groups who did not receive the treatment, showed a decrease in their abilities with respect to mathematics and statistics. Student feedback suggests they could see the value of the course to their other studies and they also felt the statistics delivered was linked well with relevant examples. Results from an analysis of teacher observations support findings from the course evaluation of the Pilot Scheme in SA, which include an increase in student confidence with mathematics and statistics.

The Study of Thermal Mass as a Passive Design Technique for Building Comfort and Energy Efficiency

The day/night （diurnal） changes in temperature and solar radiation pose challenges for maintaining human thermal comfort in buildings. Passive and energy-conserving buildings seek to manage the available thermal energy by lowering peaks and dampening the fluctuations in order to maintain conditions for human comfort. Appropriate use of thermal mass moderates the internal temperatures by averaging diurnal extremes. Thermal mass is one of the powerful tools which architects and designers can use to control temperature. It can be used to optimize the performance of energy-conserving buildings that rely primarily on mechanical heating and cooling strategies. Massive building envelopes-such as masonry, concrete, earth, and insulating concrete forms （ICFs） can be utilized as one of the simplest ways of reducing building heating and cooling loads. This article analyses the role and effectiveness of thermal mass as a strategy for providing indoor thermal comfort for passive solar and energy conserving buildings.

Forensic Accounting and Fraud： Capability and Competence Requirements in Malaysia

The 2011 Global Economic Crime Survey instituted by PricewaterhouseCoopers （PwC） confirms the economic crime in Malaysia to be on the increase and, therefore, requires immediate attention to stem the tides. In anticipation of the challenges occasioned due to a shift from the modified cash basis to the accrual basis of accounting, the Malaysian State＇s determination to move from a developing nation to a developed nation, and to be ranked among the first 10 in 2020, this paper presents the need for forensic accountant and auditor capability （i.e., mindset and skills） on forensic accountant and auditor competence （i.e., task performance fraud risk assessment （TPFRA）） in the Malaysian public sector. It also draws the attention of the users of public sector accountants and auditors to the understanding of fraud mechanisms and how to deal with fraudsters. The population of this study comprised the accountants and auditors in the office of the Accountant General and Auditor General of Malaysia. The objective of this paper is to investigate the competence requirements of accountants and auditors in the effective and efficient utilization of capability requirements, which have the potentials to usher in the best global practices in fighting fraud in the Malaysian public sector.

New Approach to the Delivery of Construction in Botswana

The construction industry in Botswana has been identified as an industry with many problems. Currently the Botswana government uses the design-bid-build process, using prequalification and awards to the lowest bidder for construction services. The government can also use the design-build delivery system. The current delivery system uses an engineering group that delivers designs and construction, uses a procurement group to award the contract and contract modifications. However, the analysis for all actions is done by the engineering group. The model is very similar to the Corps of Engineers traditional processes in the United States. Construction performance （on time and no contract deviations） has not been good. The authors propose that the delivery system and the paradigm of direction, control and decision making by the engineering group causes risk to the project and results in poor contractor performance. The authors suggest making modifications in the process and to use the design-build process. The authors also propose to change the paradigm using best value PIPS/IMT concepts.

Study on Current Situation and Countermeasures of English Language Culture Teaching for English Majors in Local Normal Universities

At present, English language teaching for English majors in local normal universities in China has been restricted by many aspects of factors, and the current situation is not optimistic. The main reason for this situation is that the teachers and students of English majors in some local normal universities have some deviation in understanding the English language. The teachers can not have the right attitude towards English language culture teaching,and they make one-sided emphasis on the skill learning of English language majors,but ignore the normal teaching of professional English language culture. To improve this situation and improve the overall level of English majors in normal univerities, it requires us teachers and students to work together, improving the overall level of this course from the two aspects of ＂teaching＂ and ＂learning＂ , in order to help students to truly grasp the English language culture and skillfully use English in daily life and work.

The Research of Education Technology Based on the SPSS Statistical Software

Through a questionnaire survey of primary and secondary school teachers and Normal Students to carry out a statistical analysis of the data based on SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis software. So we draw primary and secondary school teachers and normal students to arrive at the current status quo of educational technology ability and analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the ability of its parts. Finally, we proposed new initiatives and methods of education and technical ability training.

Overview of Questionnaires about Teachers＇ Professional Development in Higher Vocational Colleges

Teachers＇ professional development in higher vocational colleges is a primary condition for students＇ development, as well as a significant guarantee for the development of higher vocational education. It has been discovered in studied that higher vocational teachers attach great importance to their teaching practice ability and professional practice ability, and desire to be promoted. Comparatively speaking, the growth approaches of higher vocational teachers ＇ teaching practice ability remain to be further studied.

Audit Quality in Practice A Critical Analysis of the Financial Reporting Council （FRC） Discussion Paper

This study composes of how subject of audit quality is seen in practice, which contributes to our understanding of conditions, events, or processes that can affect audit quality in practice.
