The wire driving properties were analyzed through experiments. The restrained three-DOF planar platform was established based on slippery course and bearing, and dSPACE real-time control system was used to perform the platform's motion control experiment on robot. Based on the kinematic equation and mechanical balance equation of moving platform, the stiffness of the robot system was analyzed and the calibration scheme of the system considering wire tension was put forward. Position servo control experiments were carried out, position servo tracking precision was analyzed, and real-time wire tension was detected. The results show that the moving error of the moving platform tracking is small (the maximum difference is about 3%), and the rotation error is large (the maximum difference is about 12%). The wire tension has wave properties (the wire tension fluctuation is about 10 N).展开更多

Different controller operation modes are simulated considering normal, high fluctuation and emerg...This work presents a novel coordinated control strategy of a hybrid photovoltaic/battery energy storage(PV/BES) system. Different controller operation modes are simulated considering normal, high fluctuation and emergency conditions. When the system is grid-connected, BES regulates the fluctuated power output which ensures smooth net injected power from the PV/BES system. In islanded operation, BES system is transferred to single master operation during which the frequency and voltage of the islanded microgrid are regulated at the desired level. PSCAD/EMTDC simulation validates the proposed method and obtained favorable results on power set-point tracking strategies with very small deviations of net output power compared to the power set-point. The state-of-charge regulation scheme also very effective with SOC has been regulated between 32% and 79% range.展开更多

With these models, spatial and nonspatial attribute values are well generalized at multiple levels, allowing discovery of strong spatial association rules. The excavator was developed to aut...Consider the design and implementation of an electro-hydraulic control system for a robotic excavator, namely the Lancaster University computerized and intelligent excavator (LUCIE). The excavator was developed to autonomously dig trenches without human intervention. One stumbling block is the achievement of adequate, accurate, quick and smooth movement under automatic control, which is difficult for traditional control algorithm, e.g. PI/PID. A gain scheduling design, based on the true digital proportional-integral-plus (PIP) control methodology, was utilized to regulate the nonlinear joint dynamics. Simulation and initial field tests both demonstrated the feasibility and robustness of proposed technique to the uncertainties of parameters, time delay and load disturbances, with the excavator arm directed along specified trajectories in a smooth, fast and accurate manner. The tracking error magnitudes for oblique straight line and horizontal straight line are less than 20 mm and 50 mm, respectively, while the velocity reaches 9 m/min.展开更多

For a given mean-square stable system, our purpose is to construct reduced-order systems, s...This paper investigates the problem of robust L1 model reduction for continuous-time uncertain stochastic time-delay systems. For a given mean-square stable system, our purpose is to construct reduced-order systems, such that the error system between these two models is mean-square asymptotically stable and has a guaranteed L1 (also called peak-to-peak) performance. The peak-to-peak gain criterion is first established for stochastic time-delay systems, and the corresponding model reduction problem is solved by using projection lemma. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of admissible reduced-order models in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) plus matrix inverse constraints. Since these obtained conditions are not expressed as strict LMIs, the cone complementarity linearization (CCL) method is exploited to cast them into nonlinear minimization problems subject to LMI constraints, which can be readily solved by standard numerical software. In addition, the development of reduced-order models with special structures, such as the delay-free model, is also presented. The efficiency of the proposed methods is demonstrated via a numerical example.展开更多
