在建立城市生活垃圾发电热力系统数学模型的基础上,研究了垃圾组分和质量流量对系统热效率和污染物排放量的影响,得到城市生活垃圾对系统热-环境特性的影响规律。结果表明:城市生活垃圾组分中碳元素质量分数是影响垃圾发电系统性能的主... 在建立城市生活垃圾发电热力系统数学模型的基础上,研究了垃圾组分和质量流量对系统热效率和污染物排放量的影响,得到城市生活垃圾对系统热-环境特性的影响规律。结果表明:城市生活垃圾组分中碳元素质量分数是影响垃圾发电系统性能的主要因素;城市生活垃圾逐月碳元素质量分数最高为30.23%(11月),此时发电系统热效率和总等效污染物排放量分别为30.24%和20.70 kt,能源-生态效率指标ε达到全年最高值,为0.610,且逐月垃圾组分变化导致ε月度变化率最大为3.60%。当生活垃圾质量流量从28.53 kg/s降低到14.27 kg/s时,系统热效率从28.53%降低至26.90%,总等效污染物排放量从19.07 kt降至9.54 kt,ε则从0.590降至0.530;垃圾质量流量每降低10%,ε下降率最大为1.80%;垃圾组分变化相比于垃圾质量流量变化对ε的影响更大;采用实际工程中NO_(x)、PM和SO2减排控制措施均可提高ε,ε的变化受NO_(x)排放量的影响最大,ε从0.605提升至0.667,提升了10.25%。 展开更多

煤电平均供电煤耗作为评价能源系统效率的指标已在行业内广泛应用。但该项指标无法很好地反映一个国家、地区的用电结构与用电能耗水平。为此,参照行业内普遍采用的火电厂发电煤耗和供电煤耗指标,定义“综合用电煤耗”,即用户每用1kW... 煤电平均供电煤耗作为评价能源系统效率的指标已在行业内广泛应用。但该项指标无法很好地反映一个国家、地区的用电结构与用电能耗水平。为此,参照行业内普遍采用的火电厂发电煤耗和供电煤耗指标,定义“综合用电煤耗”,即用户每用1kW·h电“消耗”的标准煤量(单位:g/(kW·h))。在此基础上,提出“综合发电煤耗”与“综合供电煤耗”的概念,形成完整的指标评价体系。对近年典型省份指标值的研究表明,该指标体系能够很好地反映供给侧国家、省区或企业的发电结构与电能生产能耗水平。这一指标体系能够为正确理解和计算用电、输电与电能替代项目的化石能源消耗量及其排放量提供依据。 展开更多

With the explosive growth and need for high-speed wireless communications, more and more energy is consumed to support the required quality of service. Therefore, energy efficient or green communication has become a very hot topic under the ground of limited energy resource and environmentally friendly transmission schemes. MIMO technique is capable of reducing the transmission power thanks to its diversity and multiplexing gain. Moreover, antenna selection(AS) is an alternative to extract many of the benefits in MIMO systems with a reduced cost of complexity and power. Although many works including several survey papers have investigated AS in MIMO systems, the goal of these works is only the capacity maximization or error rate minimization, which fails to guarantee the optimality of the energy efficiency in MIMO systems. In this paper, we overview the state of the art in the AS schemes in energy efficient MIMO systems, the goal of which is to optimize the energy efficiency of the whole system. Specifically, we introduce energy efficient AS in point-to-point MIMO, cooperative MIMO, multiuser MIMO and largescale MIMO systems, respectively. Current practices of energy efficiency programs for other products such as residential gas boiler were investigated and analyzed. Test items including energy efficiency and standby power for agricultural heater were analyzed. With the data of residential gas boiler, grade distribution of energy efficiency system was made and evaluated. An energy efficiency classification scheme for agricultural heater was proposed and applied to agricultural heaters, and the scheme was justified. Introducing a new energy efficiency classification system to the agricultural heater industry, it is expected that considerable amount of fossil fuels can be reduced by adopting energy efficiency classification system. 展开更多

Energy Performance and Condensation Risk of DCDV System in Subtropical Hong Kong

The combined use of dry cooling(DC) system and dedicated ventilation(DV) system to decouple cooling and dehumidification process for energy efficiency was proposed for subtropical climates like Hong Kong. In this study, the energy performance and condensation risk of the use of DCDV system were examined by analyzing its application in a typical office building in Hong Kong. Through hour-by-hour simulation using actual equipment performance data and realistic building and system characteristics, it was found that with the use of DCDV system, the annual energy consumption could be reduced by 54% in comparison with the conventional system(constant air volume with reheat system). In respect of condensation risk, it was found that the annual frequency of occurrence of condensation on DC coil was 35 h. Additional simulations were conducted to examine the influence of different parameters on the condensation risk of DCDV system. Measures to ensure condensate-free on DC coil were also discussed. 展开更多

A conventional method is to control the equipment such that the temperature of hot water supply is maintained at a set-point that may be a fixed value or be compensated against the external temperature. This paper presents a novel scheme that can determine the optimal set-point of hot water supply that maximizes the energy efficiency whilst providing sufficient heating capacity to the load. In order to eliminate the energy waste caused by the traditional static hardware multithreaded processor used in real-time embedded system working in the low workload situation, the energy efficiency of the hardware multithread is discussed and a novel dynamic multithreaded architecture is proposed. The proposed architecture saves the energy wasted by removing idle threads without manipulation on the original architecture, fulfills a seamless switching mechanism which protects active threads and avoids pipeline stall during power mode switching. The report of an implemented dynamic multithreaded processor with 45 nm process from synthesis tool indicates that the area of dynamic multithreaded architecture is only 2.27% higher than the static one in achieving dynamic power dissipation, and consumes 1.3% more power in the same peak performance. 展开更多

Power line inspection is an essential procedure in the power lines maintenance area, especially thinking about service availability and energy efficiency. Aerial inspection of electric power transmission lines is typically performed using human-piloted helicopters, which is a procedure that is both expensive and prone to accidents taking risks to human beings' lives. The work presents a solution based on UAS (unmanned aircraft system) for inspecting power lines. In this context a R & D project of an unmanned aircraft system to be used for performing complete aerial inspection of overhead power lines is being executed by ITA (Instituto Tecnol6gico de Aeron^utica) (Technological Institute of Aeronautics) in Brazil. Special attention is dedicated to the communication system conception in order to comply with Remotely Piloted Aircraft System definition in the context of long endurance operations of the system.
