Objective:This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the concept of self-care in the intensive care unit and outline its defining attributes,antecedents,consequences and empirical referents.Methods:The liter...Objective:This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the concept of self-care in the intensive care unit and outline its defining attributes,antecedents,consequences and empirical referents.Methods:The literature was searched electronically using databases such as CINAHL,Medline,Psych INFO,ERIC,ScienceDirect,Amed,EBSCO(Health Source:Nursing and Academic Edition),Sage,Ujoogle and Google Scholar.Articles from 2013 to 2020 were searched to target recent and up-to-date information about the definitions,attributes,antecedents and consequences of the concept of self-care.Walker and Avant’s framework was utilised to analyse the concept of self-care.Results:The results of the concept analysis identified seven attributes,namely process,activity,capability,autonomous choice,education,self-control and interaction.The seven identified antecedents are self-motivation,participation,commitment,resources,religious and cultural beliefs,social,spiritual and professional support,and the availability of time.The consequences are the maintenance of health and wellbeing,autonomy,increased self-esteem,disease prevention,empowerment,increased social support and the ability to cope with stress.展开更多

METHODS: Clinical and cholangiopancreatographic findings of 28 patients with autoimmune pancreatitis were eva...AIM:To examine the involvement of the pancreatic and bile ducts in patients with autoimmune pancreatitis. METHODS: Clinical and cholangiopancreatographic findings of 28 patients with autoimmune pancreatitis were evaluated. For the purposes of this study, the pancreatic duct system was divided into three portions: the ventral pancreatic duct, the head portion of the dorsal pancreatic duct; and the body and tail of the dorsal pancreatic duct. RESULTS: Both the ventral and dorsal pancreatic ducts were involved in 24 patients, while in 4 patients only the dorsal pancreatic duct was involved. Marked stricture of the bile duct was detected in 20 patients and their initial symptom was obstructive jaundice. Six patients showed moderate stenosis to 30%-40% of the normal diameter, and the other two patients showed no stenosis of the bile duct. Although marked stricture of the bile duct was detected in 83% (20/24) of patients who showed narrowing of both the ventral and dorsal pancreatic ducts, it was not observed in the 4 patients who showed involvement of the dorsal pancreatic duct alone (P = 0.0034). CONCLUSION: Both the ventral and dorsal pancreatic and bile ducts are involved in patients with autoimmune pancreatitis.展开更多
The Deep Packet Inspection(DPI)method is a popular method that can accurately identify the flow data and its corresponding application.Currently,the DPI method is widely used in common network management systems.Howev...The Deep Packet Inspection(DPI)method is a popular method that can accurately identify the flow data and its corresponding application.Currently,the DPI method is widely used in common network management systems.However,the major limitation of DPI systems is that their signature library is mainly extracted manually,which makes it hard to efficiently obtain the signature of new applications.Hence,in this paper,we propose an automatic signature extraction mechanism using Principal Component Analysis(PCA)technology,which is able to extract the signature automatically.In the proposed method,the signatures are expressed in the form of serial consistent sequences constructed by principal components instead of normally separated substrings in the original data extracted from the traditional methods.Extensive experiments based on numerous sets of data have been carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme,and the results prove that the newly proposed method can achieve good performance in terms of accuracy and efficiency.展开更多

In recent years, there are many research literatures on Internet addiction overseas, covering all aspects of this psychological phenomenon. Moreover, domestic research on Internet addiction started late. In the light of the fact that college students do not have clear understanding on hazards of Interact addiction, it generally shows their self- control is poor. They do not believe they can control their behavior and results and give up taking responsibility for the results and tend to agree network identity. Based on this phenomenon, we propose the network psychological source control concept. In view of the close contact between the excessive use of the network and the individual time management, this study selected the time dimension of personality characteristics on Internet addiction as another influencing factor, and explored the integrated influence of the psychological source control to Internet addiction.展开更多
As there are increasing numbers of small farms in Germany, it is necessary for them, to keep the workload as small as possible by enhancing the use of automatism. Important as those energetic-technical capabilities an...As there are increasing numbers of small farms in Germany, it is necessary for them, to keep the workload as small as possible by enhancing the use of automatism. Important as those energetic-technical capabilities and features in a modem dairy farm are, the final decision when using automatic machinery depends on the animal itself and its behavior. As a result, all animal-physiological criteria, animal protection and animal welfare have to be taken into consideration. Therefore tests have been done to investigate dairy cattle behavior on suddenly occurring energy failures, fluctuations or postponements due to a load management. The experiments have been taken in four different stables. In each stable, 12 "focus cows" have been selected. Their daily stress response was measured by a heart rate monitor and faecal cortisol metabolites. Video observation showed modifications in behavior, escape or avoidance reactions; pedometers recorded the movement activity. These scientific experiments will demonstrate cattle behavior in situations driven by a power load management, but no statistically significant effects on the usual daily routine are being expected.展开更多
