为提高非线性动态系统辨识(NDSI)的效果,在结合自建型模糊神经网络(SCFNN)和多层神经元神经网络(MLPNN)的基础上,提出一种自建递归型模糊神经网络(SCRFNN)。SCRFNN相较于前者,多了一个递归通道与抑制模糊规则产生机制;相较于后者,增加... 为提高非线性动态系统辨识(NDSI)的效果,在结合自建型模糊神经网络(SCFNN)和多层神经元神经网络(MLPNN)的基础上,提出一种自建递归型模糊神经网络(SCRFNN)。SCRFNN相较于前者,多了一个递归通道与抑制模糊规则产生机制;相较于后者,增加了模糊推论与一个递归通道。为验证SCRFNN在系统辨识中的有效性,设计一个新的NDSI在线学习模型与代码设计流程图,并以此作为在线学习架构,将以上3个神经网络模型对4个串-并型非线性动态系统进行辨识分析。经过仿真表明,新提出的SCRFNN通过存储内部状态,具备了映射动态特征的功能,从而使系统具有适应时变特性的能力,更适合于非线性动态系统的辩识。且在模糊规则数、学习收敛速度、学习与预测误差均方根值、预测精准度方面也取得了良好的效果。 展开更多

Signed direct graph (SDG) theory provides algorithms and methods that can be applied directly to chemical process modeling and analysis to validate simulation models, and is a basis for the development of a software environment that can automate the validation activity. This paper is concentrated on the pretreatment of the model validation. We use the validation scenarios and standard sequences generated by well-established SDG model to validate the trends fitted from the simulation model. The results are helpful to find potential problems, assess possible bugs in the simulation model and solve the problem effectively. A case study on a simulation model of boiler is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method. 展开更多

This paper presents a superstructure-based formulation for the synthesis of mass-exchange networks (MENs) considering multiple components. The superstructure is simplified by directly using the mass separation agents (MSA) from their sources, and therefore the automatic synthesis of the multi-component system involved in the MENs can be achieved without choosing a 'key-component' either for the whole process or the mass exchangers. A mathematical model is proposed to carry out the optimization process. The concentrations, flow rates, matches and unit operation displayed in the obtained network constitute the exact representation of the mass exchange process in terms of all species in the system. An example is used to illustrate and demonstrate the application of the proposed method. 展开更多

Video Super-Resolution (SR) reconstruction produces video sequences with High Resolution (HR) via the fusion of several Low-Resolution (LR) video frames. Traditional methods rely on the accurate estimation of subpixel motion, which constrains their applicability to video sequences with relatively simple motions such as global translation. We propose an efficient iterative spatio-temporal adaptive SR reconstruction model based on Zemike Moment (ZM), which is effective for spatial video sequences with arbitrary motion. The model uses region correlation judgment and self-adaptive threshold strategies to improve the effect and time efficiency of the ZM-based SR method. This leads to better mining of non-local self-similarity and local structural regularity, and is robust to noise and rotation. An efficient iterative curvature-based interpolation scheme is introduced to obtain the initial HR estimation of each LR video frame. Experimental results both on spatial and standard video sequences demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods in terms of both subjective visual and objective quantitative evaluations, and greatly improves the time efficiency. 展开更多

We studied friction and turning factors that affect pedestrian evacuation speed. By using mathematical methods to derive expressions of friction function and turning function. The average pedestrian outflow of the simulation that includes the effect of both the frictional function and the turning function agrees well with experiment result. On the contrary, the simulation results that only include the effect of the frictional function are not corresponding to the experiment results well. Simulation results show that friction and turning can not be ignored. By analyzing the simulation results, it verified that the model can accurately reflect the actual evacuation process and has practical value. 展开更多

"BIM (building information modeling)" and "sustainability" are two frequently used words in construction and academia today. BIM is a design-oriented tool, which generates a virtual three-dimensional model of a project. Sustainability refers to prudent use of earth's natural resources, and construction sustainability is the application of this principle to building activities. Societies in general and the construction industry in particular--one of the largest in terms of natural resources consumed and waste produced--place high hopes on BIM and the principles of sustainability to reduce consumption and waste and to increase industry productivity. BIM's capabilities and limitations, currently more focused on model creation and energy simulations, are not well understood as they relate to construction sustainability and its goals. No method yet exists to evaluate BIM's contribution comprehensively to construction sustainability goals. This study presents a construction sustainability goals contribution matrix for BIM. With the advances in enterprise communication and web technologies, web has evolved into a platform for delivering interactive applications. Web-based applications are revolutionizing both the features that can be delivered and the technologies for developing and deploying applications. In this paper, we present a web-based load-adaptive network management system framework. Our system is scalable, extendable, modular and based on open architecture. It is also load-adaptive as it can adapt to the increase in the number of incoming Web Service requests so that the systems performance will not degrade under heavy request loads. To evaluate the proposed architecture, we built a multi-tiered web application testbed with open-source components widely used in industry. Experimental studies conducted on the testbed demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach. By developing the platform and making it available to the research community, we hope to catalyze the development of an open source stack for Web-based network management and monitoring. 展开更多
