Re...The stimulatory effect of lysophosphatidylcholine (lyso_PC) on ATP and ρ_nitrophenyl phosphate (PNPP) hydrolysis by the plasma membrane H +_ATPase from soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) hypocotyls was studied. Results showed that lyso_PC stimulated the hydrolysis of ATP; ATP hydrolysis was enhanced dramatically when lyso_PC was within 0-0.03%, and increased slightly when lyso_PC was higher than 0.03%. At the concentration of 0.03%, lyso_PC stimulated ATP hydrolysis by 80.5%. Kinetics analysis showed that V max increased from 0.46 μmol P i·mg -1 protein·min -1 to 0.87 μmol P i·mg -1 protein·min -1 while K m increased from 0.88 mmol/L to 1.15 mmol/L under lyso_PC treatment. The optimum pH of ATP hydrolysis was shifted from 6.5 to 7.0 . Moreover, it was found lyso_PC enhanced the inhibition of ATP hydrolysis by hydroxylamine. In the presence of 200 mmol/L hydroxylamine, ATP hydrolysis was inhibited by 74.4%, while it was inhibited by 84.4% when treated with lyso_PC. However, PNPP hydrolysis and the inhibitory effect of vanadate were not affected by lyso_PC. The above results indicated that the kinase domain might be an action site or regulatory region of the C_terminal autoinhibitory domain in the plant plasma membrane H +_ATPase.展开更多

The buffeting load can lead to high cyclic strain and stress,dramatically reduce the fatigue life of composite structures. In this paper, piezoelectric patches are bonded on the surface of composite panel. The dynamic response of the structure is measured by using bonded piezoelectric sensors. Filtered adaptive control algorithm is used to control the strain of piezoelectric actuators actively, so as to increase the modal damping coefficient of the composite panel, suppress the dynamic response and improve the fatigue performance of the structure. The feasibility of this method is verified in model experiments.展开更多
The advantages and disadvantages of organic antioxidant and inorganic salt on suppressing coal oxidation were analyzed on the basis of the theory that coal oxidation mechanisms can be attributed to the free radical ch...The advantages and disadvantages of organic antioxidant and inorganic salt on suppressing coal oxidation were analyzed on the basis of the theory that coal oxidation mechanisms can be attributed to the free radical chain-type reaction mechanism. The inhibition curves on suppressing coal oxidation of the different type and different concentration of organic antioxidant and inorganic salt were given through experimental study and data processing. Then some conclusions can be gained from the experimental study combining with theoretical analysis. First the inhibition mechanism of the organic antioxidant and inorganic salt is different. The former is that the chemical action is the dominant position. It can be called as the chain termination theory because the free radical is captured during coal oxidation. And the later is that the physical effect is the dominant position. It can be called as the decreasing-temperature theory because the liquid membrane which was formed by the inorganic salt can make coal body be the state of wetness and prevent oxygen from coal surface. Second the inhibition effect of the organic antioxidant is higher than the inorganic salt in the later period. But it is lower in the early period.展开更多

E. staining. [Result] The virus antigen mainly existed in epithelial calls, and also a few in mecrophages, lymphocytes and brain nerve cells. Here, we present evidence that the underlying molecular...The complex formed by two members of the S100 calcium-binding protein family, S100A8/A9, exerts apoptosisinducing activity in various cells of different origins. Here, we present evidence that the underlying molecular mechanisms involve both programmed cell death I (PCD I, apoptosis) and PCD II (autophagy)-like death. Treatment of cells with S100A8/A9 caused the increase of Beclin-1 expression as well as Atgl2-Atg5 formation. S100A8/A9-induced cell death was partially inhibited by the specific PI3-kinase class Ⅲ inhibitor, 3-methyladenine (3-MA), and by the vacuole H+-ATPase inhibitor, bafilomycin-A1 (Baf-A1). S100A8/A9 provoked the translocation of BNIP3, a BH3 only pro-apoptotic Bcl2 family member, to mitochondria. Consistent with this finding, ATM-BNIP3 overexpression partially inhibited S100A8/A9-induced cell death, decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and partially pro- tected against the decrease in mitochondrial transmembrane potential in S100A8/A9-treated ceils. In addition, either ATM-BNIP3 overexpression or N-acetyl-L-cysteine co-treatment decreased lysosomal activation in cells treated with S100A8/A9. Our data indicate that S100A8/A9-promoted cell death occurs through the cross-talk of mitochondria and lysosomes via ROS and the process involves BNIP3.展开更多
