一种跨区域跨评分协同过滤推荐算法

传统跨评分协同过滤范式忽视了目标域中评分密度对用户和项目隐向量精度的影响,导致评分稀疏区域评分预测不够准确.为克服区域评分密度对评分预测的影响,基于迁移学习思想提出一种跨区域跨评分协同过滤推荐算法(cross-rating collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm,CRCRCF),相对于传统跨评分协同过滤范式,该算法不仅能有效挖掘辅助域重要知识,而且可以挖掘目标域中评分密集区域的重要知识,进一步提升目标域整体,尤其是评分稀疏区域的评分预测精度.首先,针对用户和项目,分别进行活跃用户和非活跃用户、热门项目和非热门项目的划分.利用图卷积矩阵补全算法提取目标域活跃用户和热门项目、辅助域中全体用户和项目的隐向量.其次,对活跃用户和热门项目分别构建基于自教学习的深度回归网络学习目标域和辅助域中隐向量的映射关系.然后,将映射关系泛化到全局,利用非活跃用户和非热门项目在辅助域上相对较准确的隐向量推导其目标域上的隐向量,依次实现了跨区域映射关系迁移和跨评分的隐向量信息迁移.最后,以求得的非活跃用户和非热门项目在目标域上的隐向量为约束,提出受限图卷积矩阵补全模型,并给出相应推荐结果.在MovieLens和Netflix数据集上的仿真实验显示CRCRCF算法较其他最先进算法具有明显优势.

A Survey into Teachers＇ Roles in Web-based College English Autonomous Learning

The paper, with the backdrop of web-based autonomous learning put forward by the recent college English teaching reform, aims to explore teachers＇ roles in this learning process in students＇ perception through the means of questionnaires and interviews. It further analyzes the possible reasons why students perceive their teachers＇ roles in such a way, in the hope of providing some implications for web-based college English autonomous learning.

On fostering the autonomous learning ability in college English teaching

On basis of the test of students＇ autonomous learning ability and the analysis of the results, this paper attempts to explore the feasibility of fostering the autonomous learning ability in college English teaching.

Balancing Teacher Control and Learner Autonomy by Playing Different Roles in Teaching Reading

In the domain of teaching reading of college English in China, to some extent, the words ＂teacher control＂ and ＂learner autonomy＂ have been miscomprehended by some teachers. This article argues that both teacher control and learner autonomy play an important role in the process of foreign language learning. Too much or too little control may lead to the failure of learning effectively. Tasks can be accomplished effectively through teacher＇s balancing teacher control and learner autonomy. A teacher can play different roles in the process of teaching reading to balance teacher control and learner autonomy. In this way, teacher＇s proper control and learner freedom occur and language learning may be more effective.

Promoting language Learners＇ Autonomy in Cooperative Learning

Learner Autonomy （LA） is the desirable goal of the education. To date, many Learner Autonomy training programs have been carried out in foreign language teaching. Cooperative Learning （CL） is a language teaching and learning strategy which gets learners actively and cooperatively involved in learning a foreign language in groups. Both of them have been respectively advocated from pedagogical point of view and from the perspective of philosophy. However, being autonomous does not necessarily mean learning alone. Language learners should learn cooperatively and autonomously. It is the author＇s contention that CL is a good method to promote LA. CL has positive effects on both students＇ readiness and their ability to be more autonomous. CL enhances self-esteem and self-confidence, increases high motivation, encourages learners＇ responsibility for learning, enhances self-management skills, increases support for language learners to move from interdependence to independence. The paper stresses in the end that promoting LA is the teacher＇s long-term pedagogic goal.

Teaching and Learning on the Internet： A New Model of University, the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO

The convergence of telecommunications and computer science, the realization of computer-based networks and the integration of languages, by overcoming space and time constraints, gave rise to the globalization process and to the development of the knowledge society. We are facing a true revolution that is based on the multiplication of knowledge and its corresponding applications, but also on the knowledge codification, memorization and knowledge transfer. The challenges that educational institutions, and the University in particular, are called to face are linked to the fact that classrooms or lecture halls are no longer the only places where one can follow study courses： anybody from anywhere, if he has the required technological equipment and the appropriate materials can build his own environment to carry on his own educational and self-learning process. This is the reason why we need to identify new models of university and psycho-pedagogic theories allowing for the development of new Internet-based teaching and learning models by carrying on research work. An Empirical Study on the 1 ＋ 1 Model in College English Listening and Speaking Class

Improving college students＇ listening and speaking ability is a very important part of college English teaching Based on the foreign and domestic studies on how to improve students＇ listening and speaking ability, this paper explores the 1 ＋ 1 model in listening and speaking class, which is to divide the listening and speaking class into two parts--small speaking class combined with students＇ online autonomous learning. Through one-year experiment and study on two classes, although there is no significant difference between the performances of these classes, this study has shed some light on how to vary the teaching methods, how to improve the class efficiency, students＇ autonomy in leaming, and how to build new assessment system. Further studies could be made later based on this

A Survey on College English Learning Burnou

Based on burnout theories and published researches in this field, a survey is done on non-majors＇ college English learning burnout through the methods of questionnaire and interview. A considerable degree of burnout is found among freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, regardless of gender, though there are gender differences in different aspects of learning burnout. Insights are drawn from the research data involving such aspects as learner autonomy, teaching style, curriculum design, rapport, modernized facilities, employment awareness, and so on, with an aim to suggest some strategies to overcome learning burnout and improve students＇ language competence. Future research might extend the present study to English majors and attempt a comparison in between.

Analysis on Construction of Teaching Quality Monitoring System of Adult Higher Education

The teaching process includes ＂teaching＂ and ＂learning＂ of two aspects, and the teaching process of adult higher education is the autonomous learning process of students under the guidance of teachers. It respectively establishes scientific and reasonable ＂teaching＂ quality monitoring system and ＂learning＂ quality monitoring system, to respectively conduct monitoring of the whole teaching process from＂teaching＂ and ＂learning＂ of the two aspects, in order to effectively improve the teaching quality of adult higher education.

Motivating Teachers

Teachers can motivate their pupils by fostering autonomous learning or---especially if they feel under pressure themselves--teachers can hamper the motivation of their students by being controlling. The purpose of this study with 488 secondary school teachers from Austria was to examine the satisfaction of teachers＇ needs for autonomy, competence and relatedness and meaningful relations to perceived job-related pressure and self-efficacy, to gain an increased insight in autonomy supportive contexts. The results point out that there are various sources for pressure in the teaching profession and structural equation modeling revealing a reciprocal relation between the satisfaction of the need for autonomy and pressure in teaching, as well as between the satisfaction of the need for competence and self-efficacy. In addition perceived pressure had a negative impact on teachers＇ self-efficacy and self-efficacy in turn influenced the satisfaction of the need for autonomy. In summary, considering basic psychological needs satisfaction of teachers seems relevant to create autonomy supportive environments for pupils and teachers in schools.

Development of Elementary School Teachers＇ Self-Regulated Learning Exploratory Factor Scale

Self-regulated learning （SRL） is one of the precious ways in teachers＇ professional development, and its operation level includes different factors. With studies abroad and our preliminary investigation as base, this study developed a scale to test the factors SRL includes. According to the result of 905 teachers working in elementary school by exploratory factor analysis, the SRL for elementary teachers is consisted of its sociality （it included selecting leads and seeking for instructing）, its motivation（it included self-improvement and self-excelling）, its methods（it included strategy use and habitual behavior）, and its outcomes（it included extensive reading and teachers＇ professional development）. All the result indicated Teachers＇ SRL Scale had clear factor structure, good reliability and validity. It can be used to test the current operating situation of SRL for teachers working in elementary school.

The Construction of Formative Assessment Mode in Ethnic Minority Classes in Universities

From analyzing the current situations of formative assessment of ethnic minority students＇ college English in China and abroad, this paper gives the specific problems, the significance, and the research values of constructing the research. It tries to construct the formative assessment mode of ethnic minority class＇s college English on the basis of multimedia teaching, systematically and comprehensively investigates and analyzes the formative assessment＇s impacts upon the fostering of ethnic minority students＇ autonomous learning abilities, the impacts upon language learning and teaching, and the impacts upon the ethnic minority students＇ academic achievements and learning motives. The aim of this paper is to comprehensively enhance ethnic minority students＇ college English teaching qualities and the system of tests and assessments. The project based on relative theories and principals like language acquisition theory, humanism theory, constructivism theory, formative assessment, and summative assessment. According to the distinctiveness of ethnic minority college English teaching in science and technology, we are trying to construct the formative assessment system of ethnic minority college English teaching on the basis of multi-media network teaching mode. We comprehensively and systematically investigate and analyze the construction of the formative assessments＇ impact upon the cultivation of ethnic minority students＇ autonomous learning abilities, the impact upon language learning and teaching, the impact upon students＇ academic achievements, oral scores, and students＇ learning motivations.

The Model of Speaking in Teaching Indonesian to Foreign Speakers Based on Self-Regulated Learning and Anxiety Reduction Approaches

Model for spoken is expected to overcome difficulties in teaching and learning Indonesian language for foreign speakers. Language anxiety is the anxiety that arises when a person learns foreign language. Foreign Language Anxiety （anxiety to learn a foreign language） is of concern or negative emotional reactions that arise when studying or using foreign language. Self-regulated learning is an active and constructive process undertaken by learners in setting goals for their learning and trying to monitor, regulate, and control of cognition, motivation, and behavior, then everything is directed and driven by purpose and adapted to the context and environment. The research method used is an R and D （research and development） method with a sample of foreign speakers of Chinese. Variables that receive interference are the ability to speak in Indonesian, while the variables used to interfere with the self-regulated learning and language anxiety as a variable controller. Intrapersonal factors become barriers that cause stuttering speech limited due to the mastering subject content. On the basis of that, this speaking model applies the principle of self-regulated learning in the learning process, using a communicative and contextual approach. This model intended for foreign speakers who learn Indonesian language outside of Indonesia, so to bring the atmosphere mandated in sociolinguistic built through media and relevant teaching methods.

Project Teaching and Practice in College English Teaching

At present, a new teaching model - Project Approach rises in English education. Project teaching is a student-centered, inquiry-centered practice, with project activities centered learning model. Project teaching students focus on learning strategies to help students become independent learners, to improve students＇ motivation to help students learn practical ability, communication skills, collaboration skills, creative thinking skills and the ability to solve practical problems. Project-based learning in the late 1990s was introduced in China. Within ten years, research project studying abroad connotation, significance and theoretical foundation, extension are applied research to classroom practice. However, most of the research object of the project is teaching primary and secondary students, higher education, adult education and general higher education students in science and engineering students. Research related to the field of English teaching is not much; the theory is applied to the case of teaching practice rarely. Therefore, this article introduced the project teaching college English classroom, through the implementation of the teaching aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of the students, so that students learn more explicit goals, enhance self- confidence and motivation to learn, to develop their creativity, initiative and independent learning and the purpose of learning ability.

Discussion on the Construction of College English Formative Assessment Mode

According to College English Curriculum Requirements and current educational situations, it is necessary and important to construct new college English formative assessment mode. Presenting the comparative analysis of summative assessment and formative assessment, discussing respective definitions and features of summative assessment and formative assessment, this paper attempts to construct the formative assessment mode in college English teaching mode of autonomous learning, and combine formative assessment and summative assessment. It perfectly applies to teaching reform subject of non-English major in three aspects, including background, research basis, research object and research content. This paper comprehensively and systematically investigates and analyzes the cultivating process of college students＇ autonomous learning ability, presents the influence on language learning and teaching as well as the influence on students＇ academic achievements and motivation in formative assessment.

The Feasibility of Flipped Classroom Teaching Model in the Writing Course via ICLASS for Non-English Major Students

The present paper probes into the feasibility of flipped classroom teaching model in writing for non-English majors The flipped classroom teaching model changes the teaching structure in the traditional classrooms. It puts students at the center of study in the whole study process, gives more autonomy to students both in class and outside of class, and involves students in the cooperation and interaction with their peers or the teacher. The process of writing teaching in the flipped classrooms via ICLASS is designed in the present paper and hopefully it will help non-English major students to improve their overall proficiency in writing.

Flipping the College English Classroom

The flipped classroom is an emerging teaching mode which is originated from the United States and is now prevalent in many countries. It is helpful to build a more harmonious relationship between the teachers and the students, to enhance the students＇ self-study ability, to create a favorable learning environment, to realize the individualized teaching in class, and to improve the students＇ English ability. The study focuses on the college English classroom in China. The author tries to prove that the flipped classroom is a helpful way to improve the teaching and learning effect of college English classroom. A teaching procedure for the flipped college English classroom is designed in the hope of changing the current college English teaching condition.
