Software tools are developed for computer realization of syntactic, semantic, and morphological models of natural language texts, using rule based programming. The tools are efficient for a language, which has free or... Software tools are developed for computer realization of syntactic, semantic, and morphological models of natural language texts, using rule based programming. The tools are efficient for a language, which has free order of words and developed morphological structure like Georgian. For instance, a Georgian verb has several thousand verb-forms. It is very difficult to express rules of morphological analysis by finite automaton and it will be inefficient as well. Resolution of some problems of full morphological analysis of Georgian words is impossible by finite automaton. Splitting of some Georgian verb-forms into morphemes requires non-deterministic search algorithm, which needs many backtrackings. To minimize backtrackings, it is necessary to put constraints, which exist among morphemes and verify them as soon as possible to avoid false directions of search. Software tool for syntactic analysis has means to reduce rules, which have the same members in different order. The authors used the tool for semantic analysis as well. Thus, proposed software tools have many means to construct efficient parser, test and correct it. The authors realized morphological and syntactic analysis of Georgian texts by these tools. In the presented paper, the authors describe the software tools and its application for Georgian language. 展开更多

The method tries to discover rules relevant to external evidence by association analysis, without additional manual effort. These rules can be used to recognize the proper nouns in Chinese texts. The status of the social and human sciences as genuine sciences on a par with the natural sciences has widely been held in doubt, and the subject-oriented approach (SOA) to knowledge also shows the traditional scientific view to be misleaded. Its shows that it is mandatory to dismiss the idea that personal knowledge is a representation of a common world created by some God, and also the mistake to take the seductive noun/verb structure as for given. We need a new methodological paradigm of science--an approach that avoids the pitfalls of dualism and realism--and take the effort to couch its thinking in a re-interpretation of natural language. This line of reasoning paves the way for the SOA--a new epistemology that takes the individual knower and its feelings as the coherent point of departure. The traits of a new foundation are sketched and to that end a bootstrap model is proposed that departs from the early man's first experience. In doing so, we, in a subject-oriented manner, can bring man's living experience and his priverse (or private universe), under the collective umbrella of a consensual science. This approach brings the promise to provide a sound theory of everything-or rather a theory of every thin/kin/g-which in one step removes the cleft between the natural and social sciences. 展开更多

The paper briefly points... Culture plays a very important role in language teaching. A deep study of the relationship between language and culture is not only necessary but also urgent in language teaching and learning. The paper briefly points out that in order to make teaching more effective, teachers should not only teach the language itself, but also teach the culture in the language while teaching the foreign language. It analyzes the differences of language customs reflecting in different cultures among different languages (between European languages such as English, Russian and Asian languages such as Kazakh, Chinese). The analysis of diversity of different social cultures and different language customs of commtmication shows that the culture has a great influence upon the language. It includes the next components: (1) diversity of different geographies, natural environment, and customs, (2) differences of the history, religion, and belief, and (3) diversity of different thoughts of understanding objectivities. Further suggestions concerning how to use culture factors in the teaching procedure are also introduced in detail, such as: (1) the teacher's role; (2) the way of explanation, (3) the way of contrast; and (4) the way of practice. In order to conduct foreign language teaching well, teachers must take up the teaching of culture and the teaching of language at the same time. As long as the emphasis is laid both linguistic skills and communicative competence, the goals of language teaching will be achieved satisfactorily. 展开更多
