This paper advanced a new kind of self-assembly metal CMG discriminator based on multi-exposure LiGA like process and sacrificial layer process. The new CMG discriminator has the following characters except low cost: 1) it has only discrimination teeth sections; 2) the thickness of each gear layer exceeds one hundred micrometers; 3) it is axially driven by a separate dectronic magnetic micromotor directly; 4) its CMG is made of metal and is batch fabricated in the assembled state; 5) it is prevented from rotating in the opposite direction by pawl/ratchet wheel mechanism; 6) it has simpler structure. This device has better strength and reliability in abnormal environment compared to the existing surface micro machining (SMM) discriminator.展开更多

The process of configuration information acquisition was introduced, and a self-reconfiguring configuration matching strategy based on graded optimization mechanism was proposed. The first-grade optimization was to search common connection between matching scheme and goal configuration. The second-grade optimization, whose object function was constructed in terms of configuration connectivity, was to search connnon topology according to the results of the first-grade optimization. The entire process of configuration information acquisition and matching was verified by an experiment and genetic algorithm (GA). The result shows the accuracy of the configuration information acquisition and the effectiveness of the configuration matching method.展开更多
Block copolymers can yield a diverse array of nanostructures.Their assembly structures are influenced by their inherent structures,and the wide variety of structures that can be prepared especially becomes apparent wh...Block copolymers can yield a diverse array of nanostructures.Their assembly structures are influenced by their inherent structures,and the wide variety of structures that can be prepared especially becomes apparent when one considers the number of routes available to prepare block copolymer assemblies.Some examples include self-assembly,directed assembly,coupling,as well as hierarchical assembly,which can yield assemblies having even higher structural order.These assembly routes can also be complemented by processing techniques such as selective crosslinking and etching,the former technique leading to permanent structures,the latter towards sculpted and the combination of the two towards permanent sculpted structures.The combination of these pathways provides extremely versatile routes towards an exciting variety of architectures.This review will attempt to highlight destinations reached by LIU Guojun and coworkers following these pathways.展开更多
