It is to note that the traditional control approaches may generally be upgraded, as long as a number of modifications are made with respect to state-of-the-art, in order to propose high-precision outcomes. Regarding the investigated issues, the robust sliding mode finite-time control approach is first designed to handle three-axis angular rates in the inner control loop, which consists of the pulse width pulse frequency modulations in line with the control allocation scheme and the system dynamics. The main subject to employ these modulations that is realizing in association with the control allocation scheme is to be able to handle a class of overactuated systems, in particular. The proportional derivative based linear quadratic regulator approach is then designed to handle three-axis rotational angles in the outer control loop, which consists of the system kinematics that is correspondingly concentrated to deal with the quaternion based model. The utilization of the linear and its nonlinear terms, simultaneously, are taken into real consideration as the research motivation, while the performance results are of the significance as the improved version in comparison with the recent investigated outcomes. Subsequently, there is a stability analysis to verify and guarantee the closed loop system performance in coping with the whole of nominal referenced commands. At the end, the effectiveness of the approach considered here is highlighted in line with a number of potential recent benchmarks.展开更多

In this work, t...As a new sort of mobile ad hoc network(MANET), aeronautical ad hoc network(AANET) has fleet-moving airborne nodes(ANs) and suffers from frequent network partitioning due to the rapid-changing topology. In this work, the additional relay nodes(RNs) is employed to repair the network and maintain connectivity in AANET. As ANs move, RNs need to move as well in order to re-establish the topology as quickly as possible. The network model and problem definition are firstly given, and then an online approach for RNs' movement control is presented to make ANs achieve certain connectivity requirement during run time. By defining the minimum cost feasible moving matrix(MCFM), a fast algorithm is proposed for RNs' movement control problem. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms other control approaches in the highly-dynamic environment and is of great potential to be applied in AANET.展开更多

The optimal algorithms are developed to solve the energy saving, the shortest path problems, etc. However, in the practical enviroranent, there are many fields, whose map is difficult to get, and needs to be detected. In this paper a kind of ad-hoc navigation algorithm is explored, which is based on the hybrid sensor network without the prior map in advance. The navigation system is composed of static nodes and dynamic trades. The static nodes monitor the occurrances of the events and broadcast them. In the syston, a kind of algorithm is to locate the rdbot, which is based on duster broadcasting. The dynamic nodes detect the adversary or dangerous fields and broadcast warning messages. The robot gets the message and follows ad-hoc routine to arrive where the events occur. In the whole process, energy saving has been taken into account. When astronauts are exposed to microgravity, a series of special physiological or pathological changes will occur, which will start self-regulation mechanisms to reduce abnormalities and help the organism to better adapt to microgravity. However, these adaptive changes may also induce degradation or damage to physiological functions. This paper summarizes the physiological effects of microgravity on the human body from the aspects of skeletal and mineral metabolism, muscle structure and function, vestibular functions, cardiovascular function and pulmonary function, as well as expounds some commonly used ground-based space analogies. Based on the historical data collected by the buoys with sensing capacities, a novel data compression algorithm called adaptive time piecewise constant vector quantization (ATPCVQ) is proposed to utilize the principal components. The proposed system is capable of lowering the budget of wireless communication and enhancing the lifetime of sensor nodes subject to the constrain of data precision. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm is verified by using the practical data in Qinhuangdao Port of China.展开更多

Due to limitations in research meth...The tidal limit is the key interface indicating whether water levels will be affected by tidal waves, which is of great significance to navigation safety and regional flood control. Due to limitations in research methods, recent changes in the Yangtze River tidal limit, caused by sea level rise and large-scale engineering projects, urgently need to be studied. In this study,spectrum analysis was undertaken on measured water level data from downstream Yangtze River hydrological stations from2007 to 2016. The bounds of the tidal limit were identified through comparisons between the spectra and red noise curves, and the fluctuation range and characteristics were summarized. The results showed that:(1) During the extremely dry period, when the flow rate at Jiujiang station was about 8440 m3 s-1, the tidal limit was near Jiujiang; whereas during the flood season, when the flow rate at Jiujiang station was about 66700 m3 s-1, the tidal limit was between Zongyang Sluice and Chikou station.(2)From the upper to lower reach, the effect of the Jiujiang flow rate on the tidal limit weakens, while the effect of the Nanjing tidal range increases. The tidal limit fluctuates under similar flow rates and tidal ranges, and the fluctuation range increases with increasing flow rate and decreasing tidal range.(3) With the continued influence of rising sea levels and construction in river basin estuaries, the tidal limit may move further upstream.展开更多
