The purpose of this essay is to design an art education program based on post-modernist concepts to lead students to contemplate the meaning of life and build their insight about visual imagery of artworks, by looking...The purpose of this essay is to design an art education program based on post-modernist concepts to lead students to contemplate the meaning of life and build their insight about visual imagery of artworks, by looking at two nudity artworks--Edward Munch＇s ＂Puberty＂ and Frida Kahlo＇s ＂The Broken Column＂. The program will look at metaphors and the significance of life in these two artworks. Over and above exploring relative philosophical, aesthetic, historical, hermeneutic, and semiotic domains, the program will be designed in such a way that the intrinsic quality of art will be emphasized. The research method is a visual narrative approach, including image interpretation. Its purpose is to encourage students to consider how they experience life, the emotional elements of life, as well as the spiritual progression, physiological development, anxiety and suffering of life, etc.. The program will also provide students with diverse information and potential ways of thinking about and discussing the issues of life and art by using questions in a learning list. This program will be employed and executed over two hours of class time. It could become the general education teaching material or art curriculum.展开更多

This uncertainty influences citizens in all aspects of their lives （personal, professional, social, etc.）. The question arises intensively： How can people be prepared for this continuous changing？ One of the suggestions presented in current literature is the development of critical reflection Educational environment can play a major role in this domain. The need for the development of critical reflection is especially noted in the higher education framework. Universities can become a ＂holding＂ environment for transformation. This study underlines the importance of preparing young students as future professionals and citizens, by developing their critical reflection. A practical method is discussed and concerns the use and benefits of the aesthetic experience in a transformative learning procedure. The research presented here is based on the application of this method and aims to the reinforcement of specific dimensions of adulthood in a university environment. The application was carried out on students of the department of educational studies at a Greek regional university. One of the topics analyzed through art was the notion of ＂useful knowledge＂ and was part of a wider range of applications that concern the process of learning展开更多

Higher vocational design class of the students＇ professional foundation courses, such as building design students＇ basic pillars design literacy, must undertake in accord with cognitive law systematically on the basis of cultivating the students from observation of thinking to create professional ability, through the innovation of curriculum, make teachers and students can enter the process of teaching and learning in the form of natural, better support for follow-up professional course learning, in order to obtain comprehensively improve the quality and ability of the students, the education effect. Through construction art tests,construction principles,water and cementation ratio,grouting construction key points and quality check requirements were determined. Grouting quantity and pressure can be determined according to different geology conditions. Recommendations for quality problems such as bad practicability of grouting,unexpected dissipation of slurry,slurry belching,and overfeeding of slurry going to non-grouting area were proposed.展开更多

This paper presents different approaches and paradigms of development starting with the procedural approach, coming up for service, through the component and object-oriented approaches.
