AIEA adopts novel selection operation according to the stimulation level of each antibody. A memory base for good antibodies is devised simultaneously to raise the convergent rapidity of the algorithm and adaptive adjusting strategy of antibody population is used for preventing the loss of the population adversity. The experiments show AIEA has better convergence performance than standard genetic algorithm and is capable of maintaining the adversity of the population and solving function optimization problems in an efficient and reliable way.展开更多
Iodothyronine deiodinase catalyzes the initiation and termination of thyroid hormones(THs) effects, and plays a central role in the regulation of thyroid hormone level in vertebrates. In non-chordate invertebrates, on...Iodothyronine deiodinase catalyzes the initiation and termination of thyroid hormones(THs) effects, and plays a central role in the regulation of thyroid hormone level in vertebrates. In non-chordate invertebrates, only one deiodinase has been identified in the scallop C hlamys farreri. Here, two deiodinases were cloned in the Pacific oyster C rassostrea gigas( Cg Dx and C g Dy). The characteristic in-frame TGA codons and selenocysteine insertion sequence elements in the oyster deiodinase c DNAs supported the activity of them. Furthermore, seven orthologs of deiodinases were found by a tblastn search in the mollusk Lottia gigantea and the annelid C apitella teleta. A phylogenetic analysis revealed that the deiodinase gene originated from an common ancestor and a clade-specific gene duplication occurred independently during the differentiation of the mollusk, annelid, and vertebrate lineages. The distinct spatiotemporal expression patterns implied functional divergence of the two deiodinases. The expression of C g Dx and Cg Dy was influenced by L-thyroxine T4, and putative thyroid hormone responsive elements were found in their promoters, which suggested that the oyster deiodinases were feedback regulated by TH. Epinephrine stimulated the expression level of C g Dx and Cg Dy, suggesting an interaction effect between different hormones. This study provides the first evidence for the existence of a conserved TH feedback regulation mechanism in mollusks, providing insights into TH evolution.展开更多
To meet the requirements of high performance, low cost, and easy operation of the robot, a brushless motor drive and control system for the robot joint is designed, including CAN bus, WPF upper host computer developme...To meet the requirements of high performance, low cost, and easy operation of the robot, a brushless motor drive and control system for the robot joint is designed, including CAN bus, WPF upper host computer development, and magnetic encoders, and other sensors, in which the STM32 F103 chip is used as the main control chip, and the DRV8323 is a brushless motor drive chip. The principle of field-oriented control(FOC) brushless motor drive is elaborated.Meanwhile, the drive and control system design is completed from both hardware and software aspects. Finally, the PID algorithm is used for the closed-loop speed test of the robot joint. The experimental result shows that the designed robot joints and control system run smoothly and reliably, have the characteristics of modularization and miniaturization, and are suitable for the control of micro-service robots and manipulators.展开更多

Implemented on the basis of traditional AODV protocol, COEQ evaluates several metrics of paths comprehensively with TOPSIS method including minimum remaining energy, coding opportunities, QoS and so on, so as to select the optimal transmitting route. The issue of employer branding has always had an intrinsic interdisciplinary content, since it builds a bridge for cross-fertilization between different disciplines (strategic marketing, strategic management, and hum...The issue of employer branding has always had an intrinsic interdisciplinary content, since it builds a bridge for cross-fertilization between different disciplines (strategic marketing, strategic management, and human resources management). This paper presents employer branding as an approach based on effective strategic organizational resources and a precise employer branding management process. In this paper, the target is to define a possible frame in order to interpret employer branding techniques as control and regulation mechanisms. Control in organizations has long been a topic of interest for researchers and practitioners, alike who generally recognize that control mechanisms are needed to ensure that organizations may achieve their goals. It has been carried out a field work on the Italian Aeronautical Meta district, that generates annual revenues equal to EUR 8.7 billion and employees 36,300 people, of whom approximately 10% are employed in the space sector. Through this field work, the intention aim is to understand if and how employer branding may create, enforce, and set up internal and shared meaning and values. In particular, stemming from the empirical research's evidences, this paper tries to conceptualize employer branding as a factor to persuade and influence the way that organizational actors enact in a socially constructed context. In this effort, the aim is to understand how managers may affect meanings, values goals, and opinions through an effective action on employer branding that can play a crucial role in affecting sense-making processes, meanings, interpretations of the symbolic environment. How to reduce the energy consumption powered mainly by battery to prolong the standby time is one of the crucial issues for IEEE 802.16e wireless MANs.By predicting the next downlink inter-packet arrival time,three tr...How to reduce the energy consumption powered mainly by battery to prolong the standby time is one of the crucial issues for IEEE 802.16e wireless MANs.By predicting the next downlink inter-packet arrival time,three traffic-prediction-assisted power saving mechanisms based on P-PSCI,i.e.,PSCI-PFD,PSCI-ED and PSCI-LD,were proposed.In addition,the corresponding adjustment strategies for P-PSCI were also presented when there were uplink packets to be transmitted during sleep mode.Simulation results reveal that compared with the sleep mode algorithm recommended by IEEE 802.16e,the proposed mechanism P-PSCI can improve both energy efficiency and packet delay for IEEE 802.16e due to the consideration of the traffic characteristics and rate changes.Moreover,the results also demonstrate that PSCI-PFD (a=-2) significantly outperforms PSCI-ED,PSCI-LD,and the standard sleep mode in IEEE 802.16e is in terms of energy efficiency and packet delay.展开更多
To reduce the energy consumption of the LTE-A system,a distributed energy-saving mechanism based on Co MP(Co MPDESM) is proposed to solve the inadequate coverage problem under the dormant cells.First,the network is di...To reduce the energy consumption of the LTE-A system,a distributed energy-saving mechanism based on Co MP(Co MPDESM) is proposed to solve the inadequate coverage problem under the dormant cells.First,the network is divided into clusters based on the equivalent cell principle.Then,we transfer global optimization into a group of subproblems.Second,a joint processing-based cooperative cell selection model is constructed to determine cooperative cells and dormant cells.Third,the compensative cells with a determined threshold are selected to control users' access.Finally,a simulation is implemented in Matlab.Results show that the energy-saving rate can reach 36.4% and that the mechanism meets the network coverage requirement.Thus,joint processing can be effectively applied in an energy saving mechanism and used to improve the network performance of edge users without increasing transmission power.展开更多

Cultural landscapes in China are faced with the crisis of fragmentation and i...The relationship between cross-regional cultural landscapes does not currently receive enough attention in cultural landscape conservation. Cultural landscapes in China are faced with the crisis of fragmentation and islanding, which makes it necessary to strengthen the idea of integrated conservation. The Great Wall cultural belt in Beijing is a cross-regional linear cultural landscape in the northwest mountainous area of Beijing. With the Great Wall as a link connecting the surrounding natural, social, and cultural resources to form a banded structure, it has the typical and practical significance of integrated conservation. Based on the theory of the cultural landscape security pattern and its ‘node – setting – connection' model, this research studies the spatial structure and shaping mechanism of the Great Wall cultural belt in Beijing from the perspective of tourist flow, using Flickr geo-tagged photos and Wikiloc tracks. The results identify the core nodes and intermediate nodes of the Great Wall cultural belt in Beijing and show that it has a multicore, multi-group hierarchical nesting structure differing from the geographic space, which has groups following the evolution orbit of ‘linear string – circumnuclear star – complete network.' To explain the differences between the cultural association network(CAN) and the geospatial network(GSN), we find that the cultural associations between nodes rely on geophysical channels, including heritage corridors and traffic passages, as physical carriers, but the nodes' attraction and their setting elements, containing natural geography environments, settlements, administrative divisions, etc., change the channel resistance, so CAN and GSN present different characteristics. From the perspective of systematic and spatial network thoughts, this study has made an attempt to adopt new analysis and research methods to achieve the integrated conservation and inheritance of linear cultural landscapes in mountainous areas.展开更多
