A novel power flow method based on improved node voltage method is proposed, and a typical ship power system, which has 2 power stations and 10 nodes, with closed-loop design but open-loop operation, is taken as an example. Simulation results show that the improved power flow calculation method has achieved higher accuracy and better convergence.展开更多

This algorithm transforms the distribution power network-planning problem into a directed graph-planning problem. The Hopfield neural network is designed to decide the in-degree of each node and is in combined application with an energy function. The new algorithm doesn’t need to code city streets and normalize data, so the program is easier to be realized. A case study applying the method to a district of 29 street proved that an optimal solution for the planning of such a power system could be obtained by only 26 iterations. The energy function and algorithm developed in this work have the following advantages over many existing algorithms for electric distribution network planning: fast convergence and unnecessary to code all possible lines.展开更多

The method can calculate voltage and current of distribution systems, in which distributed generators are introduced. The calculation time of the proposed method is about 40 times faster than that of the Newton-Raphson method. Moreover, an introduction effect evaluation tool for distributed generators using the proposed three phase unbalanced load flow calculation is presented. It provides various functions such as a power system network diagram creation function and a voltage profile chart display function. Therefore, the introduction effect evaluation of distributed generators in distribution systems can be evaluated quite easily.展开更多
