试验于1996~1998 年在扬州大学农学院内进行,供试棉花品种为苏棉8 号。春夏播棉芦管与营养钵育苗移栽对比试验结果指出,芦管育苗移栽棉在现蕾时,其单株干重与对照无显著差异。但是,在幼苗期阶段,单株干重显著低于对照;并对根、茎、叶... 试验于1996~1998 年在扬州大学农学院内进行,供试棉花品种为苏棉8 号。春夏播棉芦管与营养钵育苗移栽对比试验结果指出,芦管育苗移栽棉在现蕾时,其单株干重与对照无显著差异。但是,在幼苗期阶段,单株干重显著低于对照;并对根、茎、叶物质积累和分配均产生不利影响,这种物质生产弱势是由芦管环境对棉苗早期限根控叶而使同化产物减少所致;在大苗期阶段,芦管棉苗植株干物质积累逐渐加速; 并随着叶面积增大,光合产物增多,营养中心下移,根/冠干重比明显超过对照,出现了下层根旺发优势,形成了强根壮株的良好长势。因此,提高播种质量,改善芦管苗早期的根际营养环境和扩大叶面积,增强物质生产能力,并充分利用大苗期发根优势,将是芦管育苗移栽棉壮苗早发的关键。 展开更多

A multidisciplinary approach-anatomy, histochemistry and phytochemistry-was used to investigate the leaf structure, the content and the storage location of barbaloin in the leaves of Aloe vera L. var. chinensis (Haw.) Berg. Xeromorphic characteristics including secondary thickened epidermal cell walls, thicker cuticle, ambiguous differentiation of spongy and palisade tissues in the chlorenchyma, and well-developed aquiferous tissue could be seen in the leaves. Several large parenchymatous cells were observed at the phloem pole of the first ring of vascular bundles. The secondary ring of vascular bundles in the leaf base and the stomata, which are surrounded by five cells, have some classification significance in this species. The density of vascular bundles, the content of barbaloin and the intensity of histochemical reaction differed among leaf numbers Ll (annual leaf), L2 (biennial leaf), L3 (triennial leaf) and L4 (quadrennial leaf), and in different parts of the leaf. These three factors were highest in the youngest leaf, Ll, and top parts of all the leaves and lowest in the basal parts and the oldest leaf, L4. The density of vascular bundles had a positive correlation to the content of barbaloin. The histochemical results revealed that the small sheath cells that surrounded the bundles might be the location of barbaloin synthesis and the large parenchymatous cells beneath the sheath might be the storage places of this metabolite. 展开更多

A new organization and management mechanism with the local government as the main body was created during the post-disaster reconstruction of the "4. 20 " Lushan earthquake,in which the experiences and lessons were drawn from the "5. 12"Wenchuan earthquake. Correspondingly, the local government conducted an exploration of the organization and management mode in the field of planning and construction. The effective experiences have been accumulated, including working out a full coverage planning,taking the leading part in the urban-rural planning,and exercising whole space control over the disaster area. An innovation management mode named as "Five Generals Pattern"was implemented in the construction projects. In view that the rural housing reconstruction was a weak link, a new approach to improving the construction management was investigated,by means of strengthening on-site supervision,establishing a technical platform,and bolstering public participation. 展开更多

A New Neogregarine Entomopathogen from Crioceris asparagi (Linne, 1758) in Turkey

In present study, a neogregarine from Crioceris asparagi is reported for the first time in Turkey. C. asparagi (common asparagus beetle) is an important pest of Asparagus officinalis L. crops in Turkey and the world. Therefore, determining of the protist pathogens of C. asparagi is aimed. During the study, a total of 1,099 C. asparagi adults were examined thoroughly using a light microscope. Insects were collected from the provinces of Manisa, Eskisehir and Bahkesir in Turkey, with 117 of them collected from Manisa, 204 of them from Bahkesir and 778 of them from Eskisehir. A neogregarine pathogen was found in Bahkesir and Manisa. Total infection rate was 18% for Bahkesir between the years 2014-2015 and 15.3% for Manisa in 2011. Oocysts of the neogregarine pathogen were observed only in malpighian tubes of C. asparagi adults. Fresh mature oocysts of the neogregarine was measured as 9.34 ± 0.74 lam (n = 50) in length and 5.27 ± 0.36 μm (n = 50) in width. Identification of entomopathogens is prerequisite for their use in biological control. 展开更多

Objective: We explored the mechanism of apoptosis in human esophageal cancer Ecal09 cells by resveratrol. Methods: The suppressive ratio of resveratrol on Ecal09 cells proliferation was evaluated by MTT colorimetric assay and morphology was observed by transmission electron microscope. The expression of survivin and bax was analyzed by RT-PCR and Flow Cytometry (FCM). Results: Resveratrol inhibited the growth of Ecal09 calls in a dose-and time-dependent man- ner, and the suppressive ratio arrived at 76.42%. Morphological apoptosis could be observed after treated with resveratrol.The bulk of some drug-treated cells turned small and the nuclear chromatin became condensed and rnarginated. The results determined by RT-PCR and FCM showed that resveratrol could down-regulate surviving, while up-regulate bax. Conclusion: Resveratrol could induce the apoptosis of human esophageal cancer Ecal09 cells, and its possible molecular mechanisms might be related to modulation the expression of survivin and bax. 展开更多
