In the process of a successful classroom teaching, students and teachers are required to cooperate with each other and mutually complete teaching activities in an enjoyable and harmonious atmosphere. This paper analyzes the current situation of College English teaching in China, and discusses the application of the methodology of "dual-way enjoyable teaching" in big classes, indicating that the classroom activities should be designed to enliven the class atmosphere, which is also the effective way to realize the aim of enjoyable teaching and enjoyable learning.展开更多

The lexicon is constructed with the help of vector in the form of a diamond structure by utilizing the root "anthrop" functioning as a priming root and roots like "vest", "vor", "hab", "mov", and "somn' serving as target roots it motivates directly. By using multiple modalities of language, pictures, sound; and videos together with the facilities of slide-projector and computer, the multimodal background provides top teaching auxiliary for teachers employing PPT to achieve most desirable effects in real class. This paper discusses the feasibility and effectiveness of PPT as teaching materials and PPT-based class construction in order to show examples to other English teachers how to conduct English teaching and promote students to take more interests in English learning. The writer gets to the conclusion that PPT, as a multimodal measure in teaching, can help the students to learn English more effectively and teachers to achieve better quality in lectures.展开更多

Therefore, based on the rapid development of MOOC and the one-size-fits-one guideline of college English teaching, the preferences of ESPMOOC have been illustrated, and the framework to practice trinity ESP teaching mode has been explicitly depicted. The mode refers to the combination of traditional classroom teaching, flipped teaching on aid of MOOC, and autonomous MOOC learning under the condition that ESP teaching group is elaborately set up and 2-band ESP teaching is preferably promoted.展开更多

During the research, we made two questionnaires, which revealed that most students preferred and benefited from this new pedagogy. Based on the research, the author discusses the characteristics of the flipped-classroom pedagogy for teaching ESP as well as such basic ESP instructional principles as mulflmodality, interacfivity, practicability and leamer-centeredness. The flipped-classroom teaching mode is expected to supply valuable insights to College English teaching reforms in China.展开更多
