It first provides the philosophical, linguistic, psychological, pedagogical, and empirical bases for such an approach, then outlines the major processes in selecting and preparing English songs in lesson planning, and demonstrates the main procedures and aspects of using songs in classroom activities. It argues that the application of this approach will immediately stimulate the learners＇ interest in EFL learning and enhance the efficiency of EFL teaching.展开更多

The strong collecting performance of N-laurel-1,3-diaminopropane（ND13） with respect to quartz encouraged us to study its separation of hematite and quartz mixtures in a laboratory cell flotation test The results sho...The strong collecting performance of N-laurel-1,3-diaminopropane（ND13） with respect to quartz encouraged us to study its separation of hematite and quartz mixtures in a laboratory cell flotation test The results show that the best separation results can be achieved when the pulp pH is 7.27 and 58.3 mg/L collector plus 6.67 mg/L depressant are added to the mixture.Products with 58.45%,62.78%and 63.72% iron grades can be achieved respectively when mass ratio of hematite to quartz is 2：3,1：1,and 3：2.The adsorption mechanism of ND13 on a quartz surface was investigated by zeta-potential and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements.The results reveal that electrostatic and hydrogen bonding adsorption take place between ND13 and the quartz surface,and that ND13 mainly interacts with the oxygen atoms on the quartz surface.展开更多

In order to deal with these issues, a national research project, supported by the prestigious National Basic Research Program (also called the "973 program") of China, was launched in May 2007. This project adopts a clean-slate approach and aims to design a novel future Internet that not only inherits the merit of the Internet today but also overcomes the drawbacks of the current Internet. In this paper, we make an overview of this project with a focus on its objectives, basic ideas, and progresses. Although this is a basic research project, its success will bring significant benefits to China as well as all other countries in the world.展开更多

The studies on silica valve formation in different stages were made. At the early stage, a Y-shaped raphe sternum was found. Areolae were made from virgae and vimines. In immature valves, the canal formation before the raphe fissure is visible. The raphe system, virgae and vimines （areolae） might be the early siliceous elements of the valve during morphogenesis. The formations of virgae and vimines are similar to that of Gephyria media W. Arnott. Rows of silica papillae formed gradually on the face of the valve. After the areolae were covered with silica and form rows of papillae, the outer valve surface could become mature. Details of the internal costae were observed in mature valves.展开更多
