在过去的十年中,全球化的进程愈发加快,而中国教育国际化程度也越来越高,本文结合最新教育数据与方法,讨论了中国高等教育国际化的策略和前景,随着高新技术和远程教育的应用,全球的教育联系将越来越紧密。教育已然走出了传统概念,应该... 在过去的十年中,全球化的进程愈发加快,而中国教育国际化程度也越来越高,本文结合最新教育数据与方法,讨论了中国高等教育国际化的策略和前景,随着高新技术和远程教育的应用,全球的教育联系将越来越紧密。教育已然走出了传统概念,应该将经济收益和国际化教育有机结合,才能适应新时代的思维模式。在强调英语教学的大背景下,教师们发现,在国际化的教学中,对于词汇的认知和翻译已然成为推广教育国际化的重要手段,而教育国际化又能促进国际交流和地区经济发展。因此,认知语言学的国际化已经与地区经济法则构成了紧密联系。本文在传统认知语言教学的基础上,结合地区经济和中外合作办学,对推进认知语言学的国际化教学提出了一些方案。 展开更多

It mainly deals with the English listening on the basis of metcognition, the practice of cognitive linguistics in oral English learning, the practice of cognitive linguistics in English reading, the learning strategy of English writing on the basis of cognitive linguistics and the practice of cognitive linguistics in English translation. The paper draws the conclusion that in any aspects of English learning, i.e. listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, cognitive linguistics could be practiced. They believe that unlike what Chomsky and his advocates believe the basis of linguistics studies must be meaning and the cognitive faculty of human beings must be considered in this kind of study. One of the hypotheses of cognitive linguistics in Langacker's words is that semantics is conceptualization. Conceptualization is an expression which Langacker has used and it is derived from Saussure's view of language. As a matter of fact, listeuing has long been regarded as an important linguistic skill to be developed in college English teaching. However, there are still some misunderstandings which exist among teachers and students. With the development of second language acquisition and listening comprehension, it becomes clear that listening is an active process in which the listener negotiates meanings in a conscious way. Therefore, if teachers can train students in metacognitive strategies in college English listening teaching, students can consciously plan, monitor and evaluate the entire listening process and become an active listener, thus improve their listening proficiency. 展开更多

We live in an age of changes. And these changes in science, technology, economy, political systems, and immigration patterns, especially the emergence of Internet, have created a world in which we increasingly interact with people from different cultures. The levels of students' cultural awareness toward the target language (English) have a profound influence on the foreign language teaching (English) practice and performance. Obviously linguistic knowledge alone is not enough to secure successful interactions with native speakers in cross cultural communications. Cultural mistakes are worse than linguistic ones because they tend to cause misjudgments, or ill feelings between native and foreign speakers. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the relationship between culture and language, explaining cultural awareness, providing some principles of cultural knowledge teaching and some techniques to develop students' cultural awareness through foreign language (English) teaching in high schools. 展开更多
