磷酸铵镁沉淀法能有效处理高浓度氨氮废水,但由于药剂成本较高,一直未被广泛应用。某钢铁企业烟气脱硫废水氨氮含量高达2394.6mg/L、pH为9.02,拟采用磷酸铵镁沉淀法处理至最终出水氨氮含量为150mg/L。为此,设计N∶P∶Mg=1∶0.8∶1.05作... 磷酸铵镁沉淀法能有效处理高浓度氨氮废水,但由于药剂成本较高,一直未被广泛应用。某钢铁企业烟气脱硫废水氨氮含量高达2394.6mg/L、pH为9.02,拟采用磷酸铵镁沉淀法处理至最终出水氨氮含量为150mg/L。为此,设计N∶P∶Mg=1∶0.8∶1.05作为研究参数,基于相关小试结果,分别对实测氨氮含量为2394.6mg/L和设计氨氮含量为1000mg/L、500mg/L的脱硫废水采用磷酸铵镁沉淀法处理的药剂成本进行分析。结果表明,磷酸铵镁沉淀法是处理高氨氮废水的有效方法之一,但药剂成本是决定其能否广泛应用的关键,尚需从废水处理工艺、药剂种类、加药方式等方面予以优化改进。 展开更多

目的观察阿托伐他汀与曲美他嗪联合治疗缺血性心肌病(ICM)并发心力衰竭的效果与分析其机制。方法选取160例ICM并发心力衰竭的患者按照随机抽签法分为治疗组(80例)与对照组(80例),对照组应用常规治疗,治疗组在常规的治疗基础上选择阿托... 目的观察阿托伐他汀与曲美他嗪联合治疗缺血性心肌病(ICM)并发心力衰竭的效果与分析其机制。方法选取160例ICM并发心力衰竭的患者按照随机抽签法分为治疗组(80例)与对照组(80例),对照组应用常规治疗,治疗组在常规的治疗基础上选择阿托伐他汀与曲美他嗪进行联合治疗。结果治疗组用药治疗后总有效率(95.00%)高于对照组(72.50%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗组治疗后左室舒张末期的内径与射血分数的改善效果优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗组治疗后的血浆纤维蛋白原(Fg)和血管性假性血友病因子(vWF)的水平低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论阿托伐他汀与曲美他嗪联合治疗ICM并发心力衰竭的效果显著,其机制的发挥可能与改善心脏学指标与血液状态有关。 展开更多

A systematic review of treating Helicobacter pylori infection with Traditional Chinese Medicine 被引量:27

METHODS: We electronically and manually searched electronic databases, refer... AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) infection. METHODS: We electronically and manually searched electronic databases, references lists and conferences compilations, and included all randomized clinical trials comparing the treatment of H pylori using TCM with proton pump inhibitor or colloidal bismuth subcitratebased triple therapy as controls. The Jadad score was used to assess trial quality, H pylori eradication rate and the incidence of side effects were taken as outcome measurements, and heterogeneity analysis, meta-analysis and funnel plot analysis were conducted. RESULTS: Sixteen trials were included. The Jadad scores of all the trials were not more than 2. Clinical heterogeneity and substantial statistical heterogeneity existed among the trials (P = 0.001, I 2 = 59%) and meta-analysis was not conducted. The average eradication rates following TCM and triple therapy were 72% and 78% and the incidence of side effects were 2% and 29%, respectively. The funnel plot was obviously asymmetric. CONCLUSION: Available evidence is not convincing enough to show that TCM has the same efficacy as triple therapy in H pylori treatment. TCM may be safer than triple therapy. TCM should not be recommended as monotherapy in H pylori infection. 展开更多

Objective: To screen and evaluate the active constituents of Chinese medicinal herbs as potent inhibitors of Cdc25phosphatase. Methods: The affinity chromatography purified glutashione-S-transferase/Cdc25A phosphatase fusion protein and Cdc2/cyclin B from the extracts of starfish M phase oocytes are used as the cell cycle-specific targets for screening the antimitotic constituents. We tested 9 extracts isolated from the Chinese medicinal herbs and vegetables including the agents currently used in cancer treatment by measuring the inhibition of Cdc25A phosphatase and Cdc2 kinase activity. The antitumor activity of the extracts was also evaluated by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay and flow cytometry.Results: Cdc25A inhibitory activity and antitumor activity are detected in the extracts isolated from three Chinese medicinal herbs Agrimonapilosa; Herba solani lyrati; Galla chinesis. Conclusion: We found three extracts isolated from Chinese medicinal herbs have potential inhibitory activity of Cdc25 phosphatase using a highly specific mechanism-based screen assay for antimitotic drug discovery. 展开更多

Investigation of the Mutagenic Potential of Immunomodulator Arglabin Native in Tablets in the Ames Test

The mandatory preclinical safety evaluation is an essential prerequisite to obtain the qualitative and effective medicines. Due to the fact that drugs may reveal genotoxic properties, the investigation of their mutagenic activity is an obligatory part of the preclinical drug safety program. The aim of the research is to study mutagenic properties of a new original immunomodulator Arglabin native in tablets in the induced test of gene mutations (the Ames test) on Salmonella typhimurium strains. Materials and methods: Four strains of S. typhimurium TA98, TA100, TA1535, and TA1537 were used to assess the mutagenicity in the Ames test. Results and conclusions: No statistically reliable dose-dependent increase in the number of revertant colonies of Salmonella typhimurium has been observed in the presence of the given drug within the investigated dose ranges from 5.0 to 100.0 μg/mL for strains TA100 and TA1535, and from 5.0 to 250 μg/mL for strains TA98 and TA1537 against the baseline of spantaneous mutations. Arglabin native in tablets does not reveal a mutagenic activity within the studied dose ranges on Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537. 展开更多

The bioavailability of such drugs, which ... It is challenging for many drugs to be transported across various biological membranes. Furthermore, development of many drugs gets thwarted owing to their hydrophilic nature. The bioavailability of such drugs, which is the function of their ability to cross the membrane, tends to be low and exhibit high intra and inter subject variability. At present, formulation scientists are pursuing many projects for transdermal, nasal, target delivery of many active compounds, and it is prudent to explore alternative possibilities. Cubosomes offer transportation and tailoring of active compounds intended for both systemic and dermal delivery. Cubosomes are dispersed, self-assembled nanoparticles of bicontinuous cubic liquid crystalline phase formed from lipid and surfactant systems. Monoolein, poloxamer 407 and polyvinyl alcohol are the mostly used ingredients in the formulation of cubosomes. The adjustment in lipid composition can control the internal and structural changes of cubosomes. Based on the nodal surfaces, three structures of cubosomes proposed are Pn3m, Ia3d and Im3m. Top-down and bottom-up techniques are widely considered in the formulation process of extreme viscous bulk phase and aggregate from a precursor respectively. This article gives a bird's eye view about the engineering, characterization and evaluation of cubosomes, covering researches and applications of cubosomes done till date. 展开更多

Efficacy of prokinetic drugs in combination with proton pump inhibitors versus proton pump inhibitors alone in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease:a meta-analysis 被引量:8

In the present study,we aimed to systematically evaluate the efficacy of the combination therapy of prokinetics and proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD),and to provide an evidence-based reference for clinical use.The pertinent randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were retrieved from Pub Med and Embase.The quality of included studies was evaluated using the"risk of bias"tool for RCTs using the Rev Man 5.3.Related data were extracted according to the preset data collection forms.Meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.3 and Stata 12.0 statistical software.Mean difference(MD)was used to describe the continuous variables,and relative ratio(RR)was used for classification variables.A total of 13 RCTs involving 1388 patients were included.Results of the meta-analysis showed that compared with PPI monotherapy,the combination therapy significantly improved the total response rate(RR=1.15,95%confidence interval(CI):(1.07,–1.24),P<0.001),gastroesophageal reflux disease questionnaire(GERD-Q)score(MD=–1.38,95%CI:(–2.12,–0.64),P<0.001),the frequency scale for the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux(FSSG)score(MD=2.11,95%CI:(1.68,2.54),P<0.001)and visual analogue scale(MD=–0.69,95%CI:(–0.93,–0.45),P<0.001).However,the endoscopic response(RR=1.08,95%CI:(0.99,1.18),P=0.10)and symptomatic response(RR=1.22,95%CI:(0.94,1.59),P=0.13)were not significantly different between the two groups.For patients with GERD,the combination therapy could markedly improve the total response rate(symptomatic response and/or endoscopic response)and quality of life,while no benefits were found in symptomatic and endoscopic response.In view of the small number of participants included and some confounding factors in this study,the conclusion made in this study needs to be further confirmed by including a large number of participants and performing high-quality RCTs. 展开更多
