In addition, it is one of the rare places because of its plant diversity and is also one of the important plant areas of Turkey. The ski run constructions are rapidly increased in the past decades in the alpine and subalpine belts of the mountain. Rate of nitrogen mineralization and some properties of soft were investigated in the soils of the three ski runs and undisturbed neighborhood forest sites. These ski runs are at the upper part of the forest belt in the mountain. Abies bornmuelleriana forest community is the postclimax and very sensitive to destruetion. The rates of the nitrogen mineralization in the soils were determined in controlled conditions (60% water-holding capacity, 20℃). Nitrification and nitrogen mineralization were in the ski run inside where the natural recovery started, increased compared with the outside of the ski runs. Waterholding capacity, organic carbon, and total nitrogen were decreased in the massive damaged ski run, and due to these changes, the rates of mineralization and nitrification were also decreased.展开更多

Three types of coalescence were observed:(i) complete coalescence,(ii) incomplete coalescence and(iii) no-coalescence. The first type is desirable because of leaving no secondary droplets. The second type that produced secondary droplets which caused by necking process, due to extreme elongation of droplets(mostly small droplets), was undesirable; because the small droplets were more difficult to coalesce and remove. The no-coalescence was caused by very fast coalescence and extensive pushing of droplet into the continuous phase. In this work the process was operated with the utilization of a batch cylindrical separator with high voltage system. The lower part of the cylinder was filled with the aqueous phase and its top part was filled with sunflower oil to form an interface between the two phases. The effects of electric field strength,frequency, and waveform types were investigated. It was found that, the ramp-ac waveform was the best waveform, avoiding the production of secondary droplets and in this case the frequency also played an important role.展开更多

The results show that during exploitation in seams with large inclined angle, rotational subsidence of the main roof under the gob area is small and can maintain balance, so there is no need to provide artificial permanent support resistance for the main roof near the upper side to control rotational subsidence. Obstructed by the dense scrap rail,waste rock from the immediate roof caving slides from the upper gob area to the lower area and fills it,which strikes a balance between the immediate roof under the goaf after it fractures into large pieces and filling waste rocks.展开更多

I intend to raise a few questions that will help us to understand the ...I propose to introduce a few lines of analysis for the RTP Song Contest (Portuguese Radio and Television Song Contest--Festival RTP da Cancāo). I intend to raise a few questions that will help us to understand the role of this competition in the Portuguese musical and cultural scene of the 1960s. RTP Song Contest is the longest television song contest in Portugal. This competition went through several crucial moments in the recent history of Portugal, witnessing the change from dictatorship to democracy. In late 1960s, still under the authoritarian regime, several social changes took place and music played an important role in these changes, as several studies have documented. In 1969, Portugal bet on Simone de Oliveira to bring us the prize, but the result was not the expected. This event brought us many questions about the importance of the Portuguese participation in the Eurovision Song Contest and the faimess of the European evaluation. This paper intends to reflect the implications of this particular event and the importance of the Contest for the Portuguese music scene at the end of the critical 1960's. With this paper, I intend to introduce some lines of analysis of the first ten years of the Portuguese Radio and Television Song Contest (Festival RTP da Cang6o--RTP Song Contest). I intend to raise a few questions that will help us to understand the role of this competition in the Portuguese musical and cultural scene of the late 1960s and 1970s, based on the study of the daily press. RTP Song Contest is the most long-life television contest in Portugal. For this reason, it is important to make a short historical overview of this period and the history of television in Portugal. In this work,we theoretically study hard-core bosons on a two-dimensional square optical superlattice at T = 0.First of all,we present the mean field phase diagram of this model in terms of the chemical potential μ a...In this work,we theoretically study hard-core bosons on a two-dimensional square optical superlattice at T = 0.First of all,we present the mean field phase diagram of this model in terms of the chemical potential μ and the alternating potential strength △.Besides a superfluid(SF) phase at △ = 0 and a charge density wave(CDW)phase in the large △ at half filling,we demonstrate that a supersolid(SS) phase emerges in the moderate △.Then,we focus on the μ = 0,e.g.,half filling case,using large-S semi-classical spin-wave approximation to study the SS to CDW quantum phase transition.In particular,we calculate the ground-state energy and the superfluid density at the level of1/S correction.We then compare the spin-wave results with the large scale quantum Monte Carlo(QMC) simulations using the cluster stochastic series expansion(CSSE) algorithm,and find that while the spin wave method is intuitive with clear physical pictures,the quantum critical point is quite different from that of numerical results which is believed to be accurate.We suggest that as simple as it is,this model still exhibits strong quantum fluctuations near the quantum critical point beyond the power of semiclassical spin-wave approach.展开更多

This method could be used in both coupling computation of para- chute FSI and flow field analysis. Both fiat circular parachute and conical parachute are modeled and simulated by this new method. Flow field characteristics at various angles of attack are further simulated for the conical parachute model. Compari- son with the space-time FSI technique shows that this method also provides similar and reasonable results.展开更多
