The present paper makes a discussion on the use of funeral jades in the Western Zhou period, as well as the formation and influence of the concept of burying these objects based on the funeral jades abundantly unearthed in 1992-1994 from the Jin marquis graveyard at Beizhao, Tianma- Qucun site in Houma, Shanxi, and in combination with those from the Western Zhou cemetery at Zhangjiapo and the Guo state cemetery at Sanmenxia and relevant literary records.展开更多
