Surface-modified poly(butadiene)urethane (PBTU) films with silk fibroin (SF) were prepared by simple chemical method under the normal temperature. The physical properties and biological behaviour of the SF-modified PBTU film were evaluated. The results showed that the SF-modified PBTU films kept the tenacity and pliability very well, and could overcome rigid and brittle weaks of silk fibroin films. The morphology of SF in the PBTU film was dendritic aggregations, and the water-contact angle measurement indicated that the surface hydrophilicity of modified films was apparently enhanced. The biocompatibility of PBTU films was improved due to the change of surface components. The degree of platelet adhesion and the cell viability of rat embryo dermal fibroblasts seeded on PBTU films, SF films, and SF-modified PBTU films were measured by counting platelets before and after they contacted the films and MTT assay, respectively. The results indicated that platelet adhesion resistance and cell viability on the modified film were greatly superior to those on the PBTU film and the compound interface had good stability in the air. 展开更多

Influencing factors for posttraumatic hydrocephalus in patients suffering from severe traumatic brain injuries 被引量:29

Objective: To detect the influencing factors for posttraumatic hydrocephalus in patients with severe traumatic brain injuries and provide theoretical reference for clinical treatment. Methods : Retrospective study was made on 139 patients with severe traumatic brain injuries in our hospital. The patients were divided into two groups: hydrocephalus group and non-hydrocephalus group. Single factor analysis and multiple factor analysis were used to determine the related factors and hydrocephalus. Multiple factor analysis was conducted with logistic regression. Results: Posttraumatic hydrocephalus was found in 19.42% of patients. Age ( OR=1.050, 95% CI: 1.012-1. 090 ), decompressive craniectomy ( OR =4.312, 95 %CI : 1. 127-16.503 ), subarachnoid hemorrhage ( OR = 43.421, 95 % CI : 7. 835-240. 652 ) and continuous lumbar drainage of cerebrospinal fluid ( OR =0.045, 95%CI: 0. 011-0. 175) were screened out from nine factors as the influencing factors for posttraumatic hydrocephalus. Conclusions : Risk factors for PTH are as follows: age, deeompressive eranieetomy and subaraehnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Continuous lumbar drainage of eerebrospinal fluid can greatly reduce posttraumatic hydrocephalus. 展开更多

Objective: To probe the incidence, pathogenesis and clinical characteristics of traumatic subdural hydroma (TSH) developing into chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH). Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 32 patients with TSH developing into CSDH and reviewed related literature. Results: 16.7% of TSH developed into CSDH in this study. The time of evolution was from 22 to 100 days after head injury. All the patients were cured with hematoma drainage. Conclusions: TSH is one of the origins of CSDH. The clinical characteristics of TSH developing into CSDH follow that the ages of the patients are polarized, that the evolution often happens in the patients with small chronic hydromas and being treated conservatively, that the patients are usually injured deceleratedly and that the accompanying cerebral damage is often very mild. 展开更多
