目的探讨中枢神经系统血管周细胞瘤(CNS-HPC)的治疗方法及临床效果。方法回顾性分析2010年1月至2013年10月收治的4例CNS-HPC患者的临床资料,4例患者术前均行全脑血管造影术确定肿瘤主要供血动脉,然后将肿瘤供血动脉栓塞,最后在显微镜... 目的探讨中枢神经系统血管周细胞瘤(CNS-HPC)的治疗方法及临床效果。方法回顾性分析2010年1月至2013年10月收治的4例CNS-HPC患者的临床资料,4例患者术前均行全脑血管造影术确定肿瘤主要供血动脉,然后将肿瘤供血动脉栓塞,最后在显微镜下切除肿瘤。结果肿瘤全切除3例,次全切除1例。术中出血量为1 500-3 000 ml。4例患者术后均无明显并发症发生。术后2例患者行伽玛刀治疗,2例患者行外放射治疗。随访641个月均未见肿瘤复发和转移。结论对于巨大的、供血极其丰富的CNS-HPC术前行供血动脉栓塞可以明显减少术中出血,提高肿瘤全切率。全切除肿瘤并辅以放疗是CNS-HPC的主要治疗方案,术后随访观察肿瘤复发及转移非常必要。 展开更多

The myenteric plexus of ileum in 5 male or female wistar rats weighing 180-220g were studied by histochemical method for acetylcholinesterase (AChE)and nitric oxide synthase (NOS). We found that some neurons in myenteric plexus were located against the capillary or even closely contacted with the capillary. We refer them as pericapillary neurons The neurons were spindle, pear-like or polygonal in shape and all showed NOS positive reaction but AChE negative reaction. According to the close appositional relationship between the neurons and capillary, we infer that this peculiar type of neurons might be similar to the cerebrospinal fluid-contacting neurons in the central nervous system and might have the function of neurosecretion or reception of the changes of chemical composition in the blood. 展开更多

Sensory or motor peripheral neuropathy may be observed in a significant proportion of hepatitis C virus (HCV)-infected patients.However,central nervous system (CNS) involvement is uncommon,especially in cryoglobulin-negative subjects.We describe a case of peripheral neuropathy combined with an ischemic CNS event as primary manifestations of chronic HCV infection without cryoglobulinemia.Significant improvement was observed after antiviral therapy.We discuss the spectrum of neurological manifestations of HCV infection and review the literature. 展开更多

Survival and migration of Schwann cells after the vascularized peripheral nerve grafted into spinal cord in rats

Objective:To study the survival and ability of inducing axonal regeneration of the Schwann cells after the peripheral nerve being grafted into spinal cord. Methods:A total of 30 adult female Wistar rats were randomly divided into the VN (vascularized peripheral nerve) and PN (peripheral nerve) groups. A 5-mm spinal cord defect of the left posterior column was made at the T1-3 vertebral level. The defect was grafted with the vascularized or isolated peripheral nerve respectively. The survival and proliferation of the Schwann cells were assessed by histological and morphometric analysis 8 weeks after the operation. Resuits:In the VN group, the peripheral nerve grew into the cord with lots of Schwann cells survived and proliferated, and had more NF and S-100 positive fibers than in the PN group. Conclusion:The vascularized peripheral nerve enhances the survival and proliferation of the Schwann cells and prompts the regener- ation of injured axon of the central nerve system to certain degree. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the local effect of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on transected sciatic nerve regeneration.Methods:Sixty male white Wistar rats were divided into four experimental groups randomly (n=15).In transected group the left sciatic nerve was transected and the stump was fixed to adjacent muscle.In treatment group the defect was bridged using a silicone graft filled with 10μL VEGF.In silicone group the graft was filled with phosphate-buffered saline.In sham-operated group the sciatic nerve was exposed and manipulated.Each group was subdivided into three subgroups with five animals in each and nerve fibers were studied 4,8 and 12 weeks after operation.Results:Behavioral test,functional study of sciatic nerve,gastrocnemius muscle mass and morphometric indices confirmed a faster recovery of regenerated axons in VEGF group than in silicone group (P〈0.05).In immunohistochemical assessment,reactions to S-100 in VEGF group were more positive than that in silicone group.Conclusion:Local administration of VEGF will improve functional recovery and morphometric indices of sciatic nerve. 展开更多
