本文提出了一种新的数字视频信号解码过程中的采样/插值算法及其实现方案。该方法所处理的信号是复合数字视频信号(如NTSC制,PAL制),它可实现对数字视频信号的每一行的每个像素点通过过采样滤波后产生出ITU601/656标准所需要的数字视频流。

基于重复轨道航天飞机SIR-C的L和C波段极化干涉雷达数据,提出了一种将三阶段反演方法(Three-Stage Inversion)和ESPRIT(Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques)算法相结合的新的相位基植被高度估计方法... 基于重复轨道航天飞机SIR-C的L和C波段极化干涉雷达数据,提出了一种将三阶段反演方法(Three-Stage Inversion)和ESPRIT(Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques)算法相结合的新的相位基植被高度估计方法.首先,基于L波段极化干涉数据,用三阶段反演方法获取植被覆盖地表下地形有效散射中心的相位;接着,基于C波段极化干涉数据,用ESPRIT算法估计植被冠层有效散射中心的相位;最后,对二者的相位差进行相位到高度的转换得到植被的高度.根据研究区域的实测林相数据,对该算法估计的植被高度结果进行了比较和验证,结果表明:该方法具有足够高的植被高度估计精度,如果能得到P和X波段的双频极化干涉雷达数据,该方法估计植被高度的精度将会得到进一步的提高. 展开更多

黄灯信号产生的第一类两难区问题是诱发交叉口交通事故的潜在不安全因素之一。为合理设置黄灯信号时长,消除第一类两难区,确保交叉口车辆运行安全,以限速值为60 km/h的信号交叉口为研究对象,采用视频观测法采集直行和左转专用车道车辆... 黄灯信号产生的第一类两难区问题是诱发交叉口交通事故的潜在不安全因素之一。为合理设置黄灯信号时长,消除第一类两难区,确保交叉口车辆运行安全,以限速值为60 km/h的信号交叉口为研究对象,采用视频观测法采集直行和左转专用车道车辆行驶参数,应用SPSS分析软件构建各参数之间的函数关系,基于经典GHM模型建立第一类两难区模型,通过MATLAB仿真获得不同信号相位黄灯信号时长参数优化结果。由两难区边界对比发现,对于限速值为60 km/h的信号交叉口,当直行相位黄灯信号时长为5 s,左转专用相位黄灯信号时长为4 s时,可以有效消除第一类两难区。 展开更多

In order to restrict non-yielding maneuvers of left-turning vehicles,an optimal design of left-lane line extensions is proposed to solve the problem.A field observation was conducted to collect a data set of left-turning vehicles at the beginning of a green phase at two similar intersections(one with a permitted phase and the other with a protected phase).The comparative analysis shows no significant difference in the speed distribution using either a permitted phase or a protected phase,but it reveals that a permitted phase can lead to a larger acceleration when the left-turn vehicles pass through the conflict points.Those indicate the existence of non-yielding maneuvers of left-turn vehicles at signalized intersections with a permitted phase.Optimal designed left-lane line extensions contain two types of segments,circular curves and transition curves,and they are only related to four geometry parameters of an intersection.The proposed method is easy to use and it can offer reference for intersection channelization and traffic organization. 展开更多

To efficiently exploit the performance of single instruction multiple data (SIMD) architectures for video coding, a parallel memory architecture with power-of-two memory modules is proposed. It employs two novel skewing schemes to provide conflict-free access to adjacent elements (8-bit and 16-bit data types) or with power-of-two intervals in both horizontal and vertical directions, which were not possible in previous parallel memory architectures. Area consumptions and delay estimations are given respectively with 4, 8 and 16 memory modules. Under a 0.18-pm CMOS technology, the synthesis results show that the proposed system can achieve 230 MHz clock frequency with 16 memory modules at the cost of 19k gates when read and write latencies are 3 and 2 clock cycles, respectively. We implement the proposed parallel memory architecture on a video signal processor (VSP). The results show that VSP enhanced with the proposed architecture achieves 1.28× speedups for H.264 real-time decoding. 展开更多

To reduce electromagnetic radiation, the laser radar works intermittently to minimize the probability of being discovered. And an unscented Kalman filter (UKF) is applied to estimate the relative states. The observability of this method is analyzed. In the present study, the corrosion potential (Eco,) behavior of the duplex SS UNS S32760 was recorded simultaneously with the in situ marine biofilm formation in two areas at Arraial do Cabo, Southeastern Brazil. The biofilm at Forno Harbor (an anthropogenically disturbed area) was characterized by higher relative abundances of Bacteria at day 2, followed by diatoms (especially Navicula sp.) on day 10 and dinoflagellates on day 18, whereas no clear trend was recorded at Cabo Frio Island (an undisturbed area). The ennoblement of Ecor values was site-dependent. In a complementary laboratory assay, biofilms were removed and the Eco values registered in sterile conditions for the subsequent 10 days and corroborated in situ results. Understanding biofilms and SS interactions has important implications for materials science and engineering decisions as well as helping to fill in imnortant gaps in this knowledge. 展开更多

A heavy-haul train-track coupled model is developed. Taking the emergency braking of the 2×104 t combined train as example, the train longitudinal impulse, the coupler dynamic behaviors and wheel-rail interactions of vehicles distributing in the different positions are analyzed. The results indicate that under the coupler compressing forces, the couplers of middle locomotives may tilt to the free swing limits, which induces the unidirectional tilt of their connected wagon couplers. Consequently, the coupler longitudinal forces produce the lateral components, and then affect the wheel-rail dynamic interaction. The performance of the middle locomotive and their neighboring freight wagons deteriorate significantly, becoming the most dangerous parts in the combined train. The wagons disconnecting with the locomotives can basically keep their couplers to stabilize in the centering positions, even though the maximum coupler longitudinal force acts on it. With increasingly stringent emission regulations and demand for fuel economy by the public,the combustion and emission problems of automotive diesel engines during transient operation have become vital and urgent issues.In this study,combustion deterioration has been experimentally analyzed using a heavy-duty turbocharged diesel engine running under transient conditions(constant speed and increasing torque).Optimization of the transient combustion process was performed by adjusting the fuel injection parameters.The results indicated that the notable combustion deterioration relative to steady state operation while transient was a function of the delay in the air-supply to the turbocharged engine,and took the form of combustion phasing delay,resulting in rapidly increasing smoke emission and fuel consumption.However,the delay in combustion phasing can be controlled by advancing the fuel injection timing,effectively increasing thermal efficiency.Unfortunately,smoke and NO x emissions increased at the same time.The deterioration in combustion phasing can also be improved by increasing injection pressure,resulting in decreased smoke emission while NO x emission increased.It is worth noting that the effective thermal efficiency first increased and then decreased as fuel injection pressure increased during transient operation. 展开更多

The influence of ordered structure on the dislocation configuration,structure of anti-phase domain boundary,partial dislocation slips,etc.are analyzed in the background of promoting the plasticity of iron based ordered solid solutions with second-order phase transformation.The principles of deformation softening and annealing hardening in ordered solid solutions are discussed because of deformation induced structure disordering.It is concluded that the independent slip ability of the partial dislocations and the corresponding low temperature plasticity of ordered solid solutions could be promoted obviously by proper alloying effects,which reduces the anti-phase domain boundary energy,or by maintaining the disordering state into the low temperature range.The similar principles could be also used to modify the low temperature plasticity of other metal based ordered solid solutions. 展开更多

Thermal behavior and phase behavior in blends of liquid crystalline poly(aryl ether ketone) with lateral methoxy groups (M-PAEK) and poly(aryl ether ether ketone) containing thioether units (S-PEEK) have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarized light microscopy (PLM) techniques. The results indicate that the composition of the blends has great effect on the phase behavior and morphology. Thin films of pure M-PAEK and S-PEEK crystallized from the melts exhibit typical mosaic and spherulitic structures, respectively. For the blends with higher M-PAEK contents (> 50%), an unusual ring-banded spherulite with structural discontinuity is formed. The bright core and rings of the ring-banded spherulites under PLM are composed of M-PAEK phase, while the dark rings consist mainly of S-PEEK phase. For the 50:50 M-PAEK/S-PEEK blend, the ring-banded spherulites and S-PEEK spherulites coexist, which implies that a partial phase separation between the two components takes place in the melting state. In S-PEEK-rich blends, a volume-filled spherulite is produced. In addition, the effect of isothermal crystallization temperature on the phase behavior, especially the ring-banded spherulite formation in the blends, is discussed. 展开更多

This experiment examines long term variations in shoaling behavior. Adult zebrafish Dan io rerio were maintained under a 12:12 LD cycle (with dim red light serving as reduced visibility during subjective dark hours), and their shoaling behavior was monitored every hour for a three-day period of time. Our results show that zebrafish perform shoaling behavior throughout subjective day and under reduced visibility conditions, although mean shoaling times during the light phase were significantly higher than mean shoaling times during the dark phase. However, on the 3^rd day of the experiment, mean shoaling times during the subjective night had increased and mean shoaling times during the subjective day had decreased. This shift in intensity was not seen on the first two days of the study, and may represent the influence of experience on the behavior of the test fish. We believe this study shows that shoaling behavior changes with light/dark cycles and that fish shoal even during reduced visibility conditions. 展开更多

Nonlinear dynamical behavior of Xenon atoms along dislocation lines in UO_(2+x) nuclear fuel

Experimental results showed that there are a few Xenon atom bubbles connected by the dislocation line in the UO2+x nuclear fuel, and the largest radius of bubbles is about 45 nm. This phenomenon is in contrast to traditional bubble formation mechanism. This phenomenon is very important in understanding the properties of nuclear fuel. In this work, we apply a time- dependent microscopic atom transport equation and take into account stress coherent potential in the boundary of the dislocation. Using the equation, we numerically solved the stress coherence effect and studied the transfer properties of Xenon atoms along the dislocation line. Our numerical results show that the transport of the Xenon atoms along the dislocation changes nonlinearly with the external driving energy, and reaches at the saturation values. It explains the growth limit of Xenon atom bubbles that is in agreement with the experiment results. 展开更多
