Cantilever casting concrete arch bridge using form traveller has a broad application prospect.However,it is difficult to obtain reasonable initial cable force in construction stage.In this study,stress balance and inf...Cantilever casting concrete arch bridge using form traveller has a broad application prospect.However,it is difficult to obtain reasonable initial cable force in construction stage.In this study,stress balance and influence matrix methods were developed to determine the initial cable force of cantilever casting concrete arch bridge.The stress balance equation and influence matrix of arch rib critical section were established,and the buckle cable force range was determined by the allowable stress of arch rib critical section.Then a group of buckle cable forces were selected and substituted into the stress balance equation,and the reasonable initial buckle cable force was determined through iteration.Based on the principle of force balance,the initial anchor cable force was determined.In an engineering application example,it is shown that the stress balance and influence matrix methods for the determination of initial cable force are feasible and reliable.The initial cable forces of arch rib segments only need to be adjusted once in the corresponding construction process,which improves the working efficiency and reduces the construction risk.It is found that the methods have great advantages for determining initial cable force in cantilever casting construction process of concrete arch bridge.展开更多

First, a formal fashion game model on a ...Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, this paper investigates the computation of purestrategy Nash equilibrium (PNE) for fashion games, and presents several new results. First, a formal fashion game model on a social network is given. Second, the utility function of each player is converted into an Mgebraic form via the semi-tensor product of matrices, based on which the case of two-strategy fashion game is studied and two methods are obtained for the case to verify the existence of PNE. Third, the multi-strategy fashion game model is investigated and an algorithm is established to find all the PNEs for the general case. Finally, two kinds of optimization problems, that is, the so-called social welfare and normalized satisfaction degree optimization problems are investigated and two useful results are given. The study of several illustrative examples shows that the new results obtained in this paper are effective.展开更多

We establish a formulation of linear inequalities to characterize universal minimal total dominating functions and show that for a kind of graphs whose adjacent matrices are balanced, the existence of universal minimal total dominating functions coincides with that of 0-1 ones. It is also proved that for general graphs, the problem of testing the existence of 0-1 universal minimal total dominating functions is NP-hard.展开更多

Consequently, in the interior of the KMS strip, i.e. from the scale B = 0 to the scale B = lplanck, the fourth coordinate g44 must be considered as complex, the two real poles being 6 = 0 and B = lplanck. This means that within the limits of the KMS strip, the Lorentzian and the Euclidean metric are in a 'quantum superposition state' (or coupled), this entailing a 'unification' (or coupling) between the topological (Euclidean) and the physical (Lorentzian) states of space-time.展开更多
