In addition to the traditional LQ cost function, anothe...Double cost function linear quadratic regulator (DLQR) is developed from LQR theory to solve an optimal control problem with a general nonlinear cost function. In addition to the traditional LQ cost function, another free form cost function was introduced to express the physical need plainly and optimize weights of LQ cost function using the search algorithms. As an instance, DLQR was applied in determining the control input in the front steering angle compensation control (FSAC) model for heavy duty vehicles. The brief simulations show that DLQR is powerful enough to specify the engineering requirements correctly and balance many factors effectively. The concept and applicable field of LQR are expanded by DLQR to optimize the system with a free form cost function.展开更多

To solve this problem, the idea of speed feedback compensa...The disturbance caused by the reaction wheel with a current controller greatly influences the accuracy and stability of the satellite attitude control system. To solve this problem, the idea of speed feedback compensation control reaction wheel is put forward. This paper introduces the comparison on design and performance of two satellite attitude control systems, which are separately based on the current control reaction wheel and the speed feedback compensation control reaction wheel. Analysis shows that the speed feedback compensation control flywheel system may effectively suppress the torque fluctuation. Simulation results indicate that the satellite attitude control system with the speed feedback compensation control flywheel has improved performance.展开更多
In order to meet the technical requirements of grinding the circumferential cutting edge of indexable inserts, thermo-mechanical properties of bowl-shaped grinding wheel in high speed grinding process and the influenc...In order to meet the technical requirements of grinding the circumferential cutting edge of indexable inserts, thermo-mechanical properties of bowl-shaped grinding wheel in high speed grinding process and the influence of dimension variations of the grinding wheel on machining accuracy were investigated. Firstly, the variation trends of the dimension due to centrifugal force generated in different wheel speeds were studied and the effect of stress stiffening and spin softening was presented. Triangular heat flux distribution model was adopted to determine temperature distribution in grinding process. Temperature field cloud pictures were obtained by the finite element software. Then, dimension variation trends of wheel structure were acquired by considering the thermo-mechanical characteristic under combined action of centrifugal force and grinding heat at different speeds. A method of online dynamic monitoring and automatic compensation for dimension error of indexable insert was proposed. By experimental verification, the precision of the inserts satisfies the requirement of processing.展开更多

The effect can be obtained by shift a pair of usual parallel rail joints on a pair of offset rail joints, for example, the right rail joint is shifted concerning the left rail joint on the certain distance. The distance is depend on the speed of train and promotes the correlation interconnection between excited acoustical pulses. The intensity wheel knock spectrograms corresponding of different distance between rail joints registered by the microphone are estimated. The spectrograms considerably differed from each other in low frequency band are analyzed. The result of practical using the acoustic noise compensation method is proved.展开更多
