Communications between male and female gametophytes are especially important in achieving successful reproduction, in which receptor-like kinases are dominant players. Here, we review progress on the functionality of receptor-like kinases(RLKs) in pollen tube growth and point out challenges facing the study of RLKs in pollen biology.展开更多
