高炉智能自动装铁系统的研发与应用

山钢日照公司为满足“一罐到底,精准炼钢”的需要,开发了智能化自动装铁系统,高炉装铁实现自动化,并通过优化改进,高炉铁水装准率由80%~90%(±2 t)提高到90%(±1.5 t)以上,满足了炼钢生产需求。

Comparative outcome of stapled trans-anal rectal resection and macrogol in the treatment of defecation disorders

AIM:To prospectively assess the eff icacy and safety of stapled trans-anal rectal resection(STARR) compared to standard conservative treatment,and whether preoperative symptoms and findings at defecography and anorectal manometry can predict the outcome of STARR.METHODS:Thirty patients(Female,28;age:51 ± 9 years) with rectocele or rectal intussusception,a defecation disorder,and functional constipation were submitted for STARR.Thirty comparable patients(Female,30;age 53 ± 13 years),who presented with symptoms of rectocele or rectal intussusception and were treated with macrogol,were assessed.Patients were interviewed with a standardized questionnaire at study enrollment and 38 ± 18 mo after the STARR procedure or during macrogol treatment.A responder was def ined as an absence of the Rome Ⅲ diagnostic criteria for functional constipation.Defecography and rectoanal manometry were performed before and after the STARR procedure in 16 and 12 patients,respectively.RESULTS:After STARR,53% of patients were responders;during conservative treatment,75% were responders.After STARR,30% of the patients reported the use of laxatives,17% had intermittent anal pain,13% had anal leakage,13% required digital facilitation,6% experienced defecatory urgency,6% experienced fecal incontinence,and 6% required re-intervention.During macrogol therapy,23% of the patients complained of abdominal bloating and 13% of borborygmi,and 3% required digital facilitation.No preoperative symptom,defecographic,or manometric finding predicted the outcome of STARR.Post-operative defecography showed a statistically significant reduction(P < 0.05) of the rectal diameter and rectocele.The postoperative anorectal manometry showed that anal pressure and rectal sensitivity were not significantly modified,and that rectal compliance was reduced(P = 0.01).CONCLUSION:STARR is not better and is less safe than macrogol in the treatment of defecation disorders.It could be considered as an alternative therapy in patients unresponsive to macrogol.

CFD Simulation of Hydrodynamic Characteristics in Stirred Reactors Equipped with Standard Rushton or 45°-Upward PBT Impeller

The hydrodynamic characteristics generated by the standard Rushton or 45°-upward pitched-blade-turbine (PBT) impellers in a baffled reactor are numerically simulated for different off-bottom clearances (C= 1/3H and 1/2H) and agitator speeds (100, 150, 200, 250 and 300r·min^-1) by using FLUENT code (Version 5.4). The results are compared with the experimental and simulated data in the published papers and good agreement is observed. The shapes of the profile of mean velocities seem independent to the speed of agitators under the experimental conditions (100-300r·min^-1).

Fitting and evaluation of height-diameter models for Alnus japonica in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines

The study was conducted to develop height-diameter at breast height(HT-DBH) models for Alnus japonica in La Trinidad, Benguet,Philippines and evaluate their predictive capability.The six widely used nonlinear growth models that were selected in this study were the ChapmanRichards, Schnute, Modified logistic, Korf/Lundqvist,Weibull and Exponential. A total of 208 Alnus japonica trees were measured using standard diameter tape for DBH(1.3 m above the ground) and Vertex and transponder was used for the total height measurement. The performance of the developed models were evaluated using the fit statistics including coefficient of determination(R^2), root mean square error(RMSE), mean bias(ē), absolute mean difference(AMD), and Akaike Information Criterion(AIC). The lack-of-fit statistics was also performed for further evaluation of the performance of the models.Based on the evaluation criteria, all six models were able to determine the DBH-height relationships and fitted the data well. Using the rank analysis, the Weibull HT-DBH model had the best performance among the six commonly used nonlinear growth models. The results of this study will help forest managers especially in La Trinidad, Benguet to easily predict the total height using the Weibull model for Alnus japonica utilizing the DBH as the predicting variable.

Multi-Criterion Optimal Design of Automotive Door Based on Metamodeling Technique and Genetic Algorithm

A method for optimizing automotive doors under multiple criteria involving the side impact, stiffness, natural frequency, and structure weight is presented. Metamodeling technique is employed to construct approximations to replace the high computational simulation models. The approximating functions for stiffness and natural frequency are constructed using Taylor series approximation. Three popular approximation techniques,i.e.polynomial response surface (PRS), stepwise regression (SR), and Kriging are studied on their accuracy in the construction of side impact functions. Uniform design is employed to sample the design space of the door impact analysis. The optimization problem is solved by a multi-objective genetic algorithm. It is found that SR technique is superior to PRS and Kriging techniques in terms of accuracy in this study. The numerical results demonstrate that the method successfully generates a well-spread Pareto optimal set. From this Pareto optimal set, decision makers can select the most suitable design according to the vehicle program and its application.

Criteria for intermittent and continuous disturbance transition of ERA interaction with shaped charge jet

There are two interaction mechanisms between shaped charge jet and thin flying plate driven by explosion, that is, the intermittent and continuous disturbance. Determination of the transition criteria for the intermittent and continuous disturbance is of importance for the penetration calculation of the escaping jet and the design of ERA(explosive reactive armour). In this paper a new criteria was presented based on the analysis of interaction process, and the effects of NATO angle and thickness of flying plate on the disturbance frequency were discussed. It is shown that the critical shaped charge jet velocity increases with the plate thickness and NATO angle, especially increases drastically between 45° and 60°.

Realization of Relative Humidity Scale Using NIS Two-Temperature Humidity Generator

A new humidity calibration facility using a 2-T （two-temperature）, constant pressure principle for generating gas of known humidity has been developed at NIS for primary realization of relative humidity scale in the range from 13% to 98% for calibrating and testing hygrometers to improve the uncertainty. This paper reports the construction of the 2-T humidity generator describing its saturator and the test chamber system. Results of the efficiency tests of its saturator showed satisfactory generation performance for a primary realization of relative humidity scale. The expanded uncertainty of the relative humidity with a coverage factor k = 2 was found to be from ± 0.25 % to ± 0.67%.

Calibration of Activation Counter by a 2.48 kJ Plasma Focus Device

In many experiments, plastic scintillators are used as a counter instead of Geiger Muller counter, because they are so fast and they are used for pulsed neutron sources. So a silver activation counter has been constructed by plastic scintillator plates along with silver foils for determination the neutron yield of a 2.48 kJ plasma focus device, SBUPF1. This counter was calibrated by source removal method with an Am-Be 5 Ci neutron source which was placed above the anode of plasma focus device. Deuterium gas up to 8 mbar pressure was injected to this device, and the neutron yield produced by pulsed D-D fusion of plasma focus device was measured by the counter. The neutron yield of SBUPF1 in 8 mbar pressure was obtained （3.71± 0.32）×10^7 neutrons per shot. This result has relatively agreed with the neutron yield measured by silver activation Geiger counters.

Study on the Similarities and Differences of Body Measurement Terminology between ASTM and China GB Standard

The similarities and differences of ASTM and China GB standard are studied in three aspects:measure instrument,terminology and applicable field.They are similar on the measuring apparatus and GB has less measurements,such as girth,length and width measurements than ASTM and it lack across chest width,back width,total crotch length and shoulder slope which are important measurements in pattern making.ASTM classifies its standards according to the customers' size,gender and age.So we think GB standard could make some modifications from these fields to satisfy the users.

Real-time auto-focusing technique using centroid method for space camera

A real-time auto-focusing system with auto-collimation method is introduced, which is used in auto-detecting the focus of the space camera with long focus. Auto-focusing is the key technique to ensure high quality in space imaging. It can measure and compensate the defocus caused by the change of temperature and air pressure etc. in space. To solve the problem of auto-focusing with auto-collimation method of the camera whose axis is perpendicular to the ground, it is designed that two small caliber pentagonal prisms are placed in the area of aperture suitable to the camera’s relative aperture based on the theory of auto-focusing with auto-collimation, which can replace the big caliber plane reflector used in other cameras. Using the characteristic of pentagonal prism refracting light vertically, the target slit is imaged in CCD through the two-separated lens. It transforms the detecting of the axial defocusing quantity to the landscape orientation measurement of the faculae’s position in the direction of CCD pixels. The defocusing quantity is obtained by measuring the opposite position of the two faculae on the CCD. The Centroid method is adopted to measure the position of the auto-collimation faculae. The arithmetic error is analyzed especially, and the causation is given. Experiments show that this real-time auto-focusing system using centroid method is reliable and the focusing precision can reach ±0.01 mm.

Drug-Drug Interaction Studies of Levocetirizine with Atenolol

The objective of the study was to evaluate the drug-drug interaction studies of levoceterizine with atenolol. Calibration curve studies of working standard solutions of levocetirizine and atenolol （0.01-0.1 mmol） were scanned. Maxima appeared at 231 nm for levocetirizine and 224 nm for atenolol. The calibration curve obeyed Beer Lambert＇s Law. Lone availabilities of both the drugs were studied in pH 1, pH 4, pH 7.4 and pH 9 at 37℃ on B.P. （British Pharmacopoeia） dissolution apparatus. To study the drug-drug interaction of levocetirizine （5 mg tablet） and atenolol （100 mg tablet）, both the drugs were introduced to the dissolution apparatus in simulated gastric juice （pH 1）, pH 4, pH 7.4 and pH 9 at 37℃ at zero time and measured the absorbance maxima of both the drugs at the corresponding wavelength. Graphs were plotted for availability percentage （%） of drug versus time at each set of experiment. The availability percentage （%） of levocetirizine in the buffers of pH simulated to gastric pH 4, pH 7.4 and pH 9 in the presence of atenolol was 436.78%, 376.90%, 436.78% and 436.78%, respectively, but the availability of atenolol was increased up to 214.80%, 212.96%, 214.93% and 231.51% in simulated to gastric pH and in the buffers ofpH 4, pH 7.4 and pH 9, respectively. On the basis of these studies, it is concluded that levocetirizine forms a charge-complex with atenolol; therefore, co-administration of these drugs should be avoided.

An Energy and Exergy Analysis of a Microturbine CHP System

The micro-turbine is known as a producer of high-grade energy （work） and also low energy （heat）. The following low grade heat energy have been modeled under ISO ambient conditions （international standard organization）, i.e. 15 ℃ and 1 bar, to utilize the waste heat energy of a 200 kW micro-turbine combined with a single effect absorption chiller, an organic ranking cycle using R245fa （ORC-R245 fa） as a working fluid, a multi-effect distillation desalination （MED） and a thermal vapor compression MED Desalination unit （TVC-MED）. The thermal comparison was carried out based on an energy and exergy analysis in terms of electric efficiency, exergetic efficiency, carbon footprint, and energy utilization factor （EUF）. The software package IPSEpro has been used to model and simulate the proposed power plants. As a result, utilizing the exhaust waste heat energy in single-effect absorption chillier has contributed to stabilize ambient temperature fluctuation, and gain the best exergetic efficiency of 39%, while the EUF has reached 72% and the carbon footprint was reduced by 75% in MED and TVC-MED Desalination respectively. The results also reveal that TVC-MED is more efficient than traditional MED as its gain output ratio （GOR） is improved by 5.5%. In addition, ORC-245fa generates an additional 20% of the micro-turbine electricity generation.

Comparison of dilution effects of R134a and nitrogen on flammable hydrofluorocarbons

An experimental apparatus has been built to measure the flammability limits of combustible gases based on Chinesenational standard GB/T 12474-90. The flammability limits of four binary mixtures of R161/R134a,R152a/R134a, R161/N2 and R152a/N2 were measured with this apparatus at atmospheric pressure and ambienttemperature. The fuel inertization points (FIP) of these mixtures can be found from the envelopes. Comparisonswere made with the literature data; good agreement for most measurements was obtained. R134a was found tohave a better dilution effect than nitrogen in reducing the flammability of hydrofluorocarbons.
