Seeds were primed in solutions of 0.2% Captan at 10 C and 27C, PEG 6000 -1.0 MPa at 10C and 27C, 0.5 mol KNO3, 0.75 Mol KNO3, 1.0 Mol KNO3. Eight treatments including the primed seeds and nonprimed seeds, five replicates with 100 seeds for each treatment, were set to 15-cm-Petri dish with double filter paper moistened with testing solution PEG in refrigerator at 27C. For the experiments of all the groups, osmotic potential were 0.0, -0.2, -0.4, -0.6, -0.8, -1.0, -1.2, and -1.4 MPa. P. dubium seeds were also set to water stress experiment in rolled paper with PEG solutions from 0.0 to -1.0 M Pa. Germination percentage decreased with the increase of PEG concentration. Control group had a better germination percentage than other groups. Germination hardly occurred in PEG -1.4 MPa.展开更多

[Method] D. fra-grans leaves with lesions were used as experimental materials to isolate anthrac-nose pathogen. Morphological observation, rDNA-ITS amplification and sequence analysis were performed to identify the pathogen strain. [Result] Caonidia of the iso-lated anthracnose pathogen were straight or curved, el iptic to crescent, with 2-5 oil droplets, 7.5-20 × 4.5-5 μm. According to molecular phylogenetic analysis, the iso-lated pathogen strain was identified as a new species, which was named Col-letotrichum dracaena-fragrantis sp. nov. [Conclusion] This study provided theoretical basis for the prevention and control of anthracnose.展开更多
Natural land cover information is important for analysing and understanding of the current terrestrial situation, especially in the study area that is facing the environmental deteriorating increasingly. The study com...Natural land cover information is important for analysing and understanding of the current terrestrial situation, especially in the study area that is facing the environmental deteriorating increasingly. The study combined the remote sensing Aster data and ground truth to improve 2001 land cover map of Guadalteba area in Spain, and increased the accuracy from 47% to 70%. The general land cover map produced about the Guadalteba study area outlines the distribution of the vegetation type and the current natural land cover in the area. Based on this improved general land cover map, the natural cover map gave an indication of the present location of nature and agriculture areas. The shrub land degradation map identified location of various shrub/matorral areas and different levels of degradation. The further analysis and discussion were done. The output maps indicated that much of the natural cover mostly dominated by formations of shrubs has been changed to agriculture and other land uses. It is observed that shrubland covers a small percentage, approximately 9% of the study area, due to land degradation in most parts caused by human interfere. In order to find out a new way for environment-friendly and resourcelized utilization of cassava starch processing wastewater, the cassava starch anaerobic fermentation liquid was applied in watermelon production, and...In order to find out a new way for environment-friendly and resourcelized utilization of cassava starch processing wastewater, the cassava starch anaerobic fermentation liquid was applied in watermelon production, and its effects on the growth and development, yield and fruit quality of watermelon were investigated. The results showed that the cassava starch anaerobic fermentation liquid significant- ly promoted the vegetative and reproductive growth and improved the yield and fruit quality of watermelon. Compared with conventional fertilization, the application of cassava starch anaerobic fermentation both with COD concentration of 1 200 mg/L according to the amount of 150 t/hm2 promoted the growth of vines and leaves of watermelon plants, brought forward the flowering, fruiting and harvest of watermelon and significantly increased the fruit number, fruit weight, yield, fruit size, fruit shape index, soluble solid content, soluble sugar content, soluble protein content and Vita- min C content of watermelon. At the same time of improving the yield and quality of watermelon, cassava starch anaerobic fermentation liquid was turned into treasure as a liquid fertilizer. This study provides a new ideal for the yield and quality im- provement of watermelon and the wastewater treating of starch factories.展开更多

In the cold and high-attitude Xizang (Tibetan) Plateau,where aragonite has been commonly found in lacustrine sediments,there is no aragonite,but low-Mg calcite,monohydrocalcite and trace dolomite. The lake receives solutes primarily from surface runoffs and remains fairly constant water chemistry for a long time. The total CaCO3 percentage in sediments could be controlled by evaporation and inflow of detrital materials. The absence of aragonite is unusual when compared to other lacustrine sediments from the Tibetan Plateau. This could be due to low Ca/Mg ratio,low salinity,low Mg and Ca concentration. Monohydrocalcite might precipitate from the lake water mediated by biological activities. Low-Mg calcite originated from minor ostracoda shell and the precipitation of lake water with biological activities.展开更多
