Features are combined based on the inhibiti...A new method for combining features via importance-inhibition analysis (IIA) is described to obtain more effective feature combination in learning question classification. Features are combined based on the inhibition among features as well as the importance of individual features. Experimental results on the Chinese questions set show that, the IIA method shows a gradual increase in average and maximum accuracies at all feature combinations, and achieves great improvement over the importance analysis(IA) method on the whole. Moreover, the IIA method achieves the same highest accuracy as the one by the exhaustive method, and further improves the performance of question classification.展开更多

Therefore study on our organizational ethical climate has the great significance to solve ethical problems and dilemmas faced by the organization and staff. Through semi-structured interview, structural interview and questionnaire survey and other methods this study gets to understand internal structural elements of organizational ethical climate under Chinese cultural background, and constructs organizational ethical climate questionnaire, which has good reliability and validity; carries out surveys in large scale by using the revised questionnaire, and recycles 709 valid questionnaires. The results of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis show that Chinese organizational ethical climate' s internal structure includes five factors: egoism, altruism, independence orientated, organizational system orientated, and law and code orientated.展开更多
In the network virtualization environments, one of the most challenges is how to map the virtual networks(VNs) onto a shared substrate network managed by an infrastructure provider(In P), which is termed as virtual ne...In the network virtualization environments, one of the most challenges is how to map the virtual networks(VNs) onto a shared substrate network managed by an infrastructure provider(In P), which is termed as virtual network embedding problem. Prior studies on this issue only emphasize on maximizing the revenue or minimizing the energy consumption while ignoring the reliability requirements of end-users. In our work, we incorporate the reliability probability into the virtual network embedding process with an aim to improve the Qo S/Qo E of end users from a new perspective. We devised two novel reliable virtual network embedding algorithms called RRW-Max Match and RDCC-VNE based on RW-Max Match and DCC-VNE, respectively. Extensive simulations demonstrated that the efficiency of our proposed algorithms is better than those of two primitive algorithms in terms of the reliability demands, the acceptance ratio of virtual networks and the long-term average revenue.展开更多

Identification development follows a transparent image processing paradigm completely independent of state-of-the-art structural dynamics, aiming at delivering a simple and wide purpose method. Validation of the proposed importance sampling strategy is based on multi-scale clusters of realizations of digitally generated non-stationary stochastic processes. Good agreement with the reference pure Monte Carlo results indicates a significant potential in reducing the computational task of first passage probabilities estimation, an important feature in the field of e.g., probabilistic seismic design or risk assessment generally.展开更多

In the "nonintersecting" case of this problem, Burer and Yang(2015) have proved that its semi-definite programming relaxation with second-order-cone reformulation(SDPR-SOCR) is a tight relaxation. In the more complicated "intersecting" case, which is discussed in this paper, so far there is no result except for a counterexample for the SDPR-SOCR. We present a necessary and sufficient condition for the SDPR-SOCR to be a tight relaxation in both the "nonintersecting" and "intersecting" cases. As an application of this condition, it is verified easily that the "nonintersecting" SDPR-SOCR is a tight relaxation indeed. Furthermore, as another application of the condition, we prove that there exist at least three regions among the four regions in the trust-region ball divided by the two intersecting linear cuts, on which the SDPR-SOCR must be a tight relaxation. Finally, the results of numerical experiments show that the SDPR-SOCR can work efficiently in decreasing or even eliminating the duality gap of the nonconvex extended trust-region subproblem with two intersecting linear inequalities indeed.展开更多
