In order to reduce the maintenance cost of structured Peer-to-Peer (P2P),Clone Node Protocol (CNP) based on user behavior is proposed.CNP considers the regularity of user behavior and uses the method of clone node.A Bidirectional Clone Node Chord model (BCNChord) based on CNP protocol is designed and realized.In BCNChord,Anticlockwise Searching Algorithm,Difference Push Synchronize Algorithm and Optimal Maintenance Algorithm are put forward to increase the performances.In experiments,according to the frequency of nodes,the maintenance cost of BCNChord can be 3.5%~32.5% lower than that of Chord.In the network of 212 nodes,the logic path hop is steady at 6,which is much more prior to 12 of Chord and 10 of CNChord.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that BCNChord can effectively reduce the maintenance cost of its structure and simultaneously improve the query efficiency up to (1/4)O(logN).BCNChord is more suitable for highly dynamic environment and higher real-time system. 展开更多

The laminated overburden model(La Model)has been widely used for pillar design and stability analysis.As a boundary element program,the La Model program is sensitive to the boundary condition,which should be considered before creating the model.To eliminate the boundary effect in a La Model pillar stability analysis,a suitable boundary buffer zone is needed around the model edge.The radius of influence(R)and the abutment load extent(D)are two major factors that affect the stresses and displacements calculated in LaM odel.To determine the optimum buffer zone extent,a database of case histories was analyzed using the La Model program.Values for R and D were varied until a buffer zone having negligible influence on the pillar stability factor(SF)of the active mining zone(AMZ)was determined. 展开更多

Centrifugal forces are commonly created when ships turn, which may cause a ship to capsize in a critical situation. A mathematical model has been developed to optimize the stability coefficients for ship, with the aim to prevent capsizing and to increase ship maneuverability in high-speed water craft. This model can be used to develop algorithms for control system improvement. The mathematical model presented in this paper optimized the use of multipurpose hydrofoils to reduce heeling and the trimming moment, maintaining an upright ship’s position and lessening the resistance via transverse force. Conventionally, the trimming and heeling of a ship are controlled using ballast water;however, under variable sea conditions it is sometimes difficult to control a ship’s motion using ballast water. In this case, a hydrofoil would be more stable and maneuverable than a ballast tank controlled vessel. A movable hydrofoil could theoretically be adapted from moveable aerofoil technology. This study proves the merit of further investigation into this possibility. 展开更多

Wax-coated sands are a new category of synthetic soils, which are gradually becoming a reliable construction material. Because of their valuable drainage ability and mechanical properties, wax coated sandy soils are specifically applicable to pavement construction of horseracing tracks and sport fields. Although the mechanical and hydraulic properties of these synthetic soils are well-proven, there is still a lack of studies on how the soil samples behave differently when mixing with different wax fractions. Adding the wax affects permeability and compressibility of pure sand. Intensity of influences is a function of weight percentage of wax that has been added, and other physical and environmental factors. The effects of wax content on hydraulic properties(permeability), and mechanical properties(stress strain behavior, compressibility) of sandy soils based on a series of experimental efforts were investigated. Obtained experimental results infer that increasing the amount of wax up to 6% causes an about 50% increase in permeability, mainly because of the significant effect of wax in lowering the friction along with covering and filling the angular parts of particles' surfaces and forming rounded particles. In addition, wax-coated sands show a 20% to 60% decrease in confined compression modulus compared to non wax-coated sands. 展开更多

In this paper we present a performance evaluation of thermal spraying coated hot forging dies conducted in a production line. The High Velocity Oxy-Fuel process was used for the deposition of a tungsten carbide coating, which is characterized by its optimal adherence and low porosity. A metallurgical characterization of the layer was previously done, in order to obtain reference information to assist in the interpretation of the practical tests results. The coated die allowed an increase in productivity of 37.5%, besides better dimensional stability results through the process and legibility of printed numbers. 展开更多
