A new kind of multilevel spatial association of the rules mining method based on the cloud model is presented. The cloud model integrates the vague and random use of linguistic terms in a unified way. With these models, spatial and nonspatial attribute values are well generalized at multiple levels, allowing discovery of strong spatial association rules. Combining the cloud model based method with Apriori algorithms for mining association rules from a spatial database shows benefits in being effective and flexible.展开更多
Adaptive Type-2 fuzzy control possesses control performance better than the traditional adaptive fuzzy control.However,heavy computation burden obviously blocks the utilization of adaptive Type-2 fuzzy control in indu...Adaptive Type-2 fuzzy control possesses control performance better than the traditional adaptive fuzzy control.However,heavy computation burden obviously blocks the utilization of adaptive Type-2 fuzzy control in industrial application.By adopting novel piecewise fuzzy sets and center-average type-reduction,a simplified adaptive interval Type-2 fuzzy controller involving less computation is developed for practical industrial application.In the proposed controller,the inputs are divided into several subintervals and then two piecewise fuzzy sets are used for each subinterval.With the manner of piecewise fuzzy sets and a novel fuzzy rules inference engine,only part of fuzzy rules are simultaneously activated in one control loop,which exponentially decreases the computation and makes the controller appropriate in industrial application.The simulation and experimental study,involving the popular magnetic levitation platform,shows the predicted system with theoretical stability and good tracking performance.The analysis indicates that there is far less computation of the proposed controller than the traditional adaptive interval Type-2 fuzzy controller,especially when the number of fuzzy rules and fuzzy sets is large,and the controller still maintains good control performance as the traditional one.展开更多

To solve the problems, the fuzzy control method and the genetic algorithms were systematically integrated to create a kind of improved fuzzy adaptive genetic algorithm (FAGA) based on the auto-regulating fuzzy rules (ARFR-FAGA). By using the fuzzy control method, the values of Pc and Pm were adjusted according to the evolutional process, and the fuzzy rules were optimized by another genetic algorithm. Experimental results in solving the function optimization problems demonstrate that the convergence rate and solution quality of ARFR-FAGA exceed those of SGA, AGA and fuzzy adaptive genetic algorithm based on expertise (EFAGA) obviously in the global search.展开更多

The AFC is composed of the signal control system-oriented control level and the signal controller-oriented fuz...An adaptive fuzzy logic controller (AFC) is presented for the signal control of the urban traffic network. The AFC is composed of the signal control system-oriented control level and the signal controller-oriented fuzzy rules regulation level. The control level decides the signal timings in an intersection with a fuzzy logic controller. The regulation level optimizes the fuzzy rules by the Adaptive Rule Module in AFC according to both the system performance index in current control period and the traffic flows in the last one. Consequently the system performances are improved. A weight coefficient controller (WCC) is also developed to describe the interactions of traffic flow among the adjacent intersections. So the AFC combined with the WCC can be applied in a road network for signal timings. Simulations of the AFC on a real traffic scenario have been conducted. Simulation results indicate that the adaptive controller for traffic control shows better performance than the actuated one.展开更多
With the gradual deepening of study on the parallel mechanism,the difficulty brought by the existence of coupling to the theoretical analysis and practical application of parallel mechanisms is becoming increasingly a...With the gradual deepening of study on the parallel mechanism,the difficulty brought by the existence of coupling to the theoretical analysis and practical application of parallel mechanisms is becoming increasingly apparent.The research on the decoupled parallel mechanism is currently one of the hot fields.Though most of the rotational parallel mechanisms,which has been widely used in spatial orientation fields,are not decoupled.It is comparative difficult for the synthesis of fully decoupled rotational parallel mechanisms,and the number of the existing parallel mechanisms which can realize rotational decoupling is limited.In addition,most of the existing rotational decoupled parallel mechanism are obtained depending on the experience of the researcher,and don't possess the general theoretical significance.Based on the screw theory,this paper presents the rotational conditions of the parallel mechanism through the analysis of the relationship between the degree of freedom of the parallel mechanism and its limbs.The synthesis rule of the limbs for decoupled rotational parallel mechanism is established according to the twist screw system of the limbs,which assures the decoupling of the rotations in each limb.The selection principle of the input pairs for the rotation driven limbs is proposed,then the type synthesis method for rotational decoupled parallel mechanisms is formed.With this type synthesis method,synthesis of the rotational decoupled parallel mechanisms is performed,which can provide a reference for the development of the novel type parallel mechanisms with independent intellectual property rights.展开更多
