鱼类行为学数据是水质污染监测的主要依据,也是鱼类自身健康状况的反应,提取鱼类行为学数据对水质监测研究至关重要。为了获取鱼类行为学数据,实验提出了一种运用多视图几何原理研究鱼类轨迹跟踪重建的方法,实验中用3个摄像头分别从正... 鱼类行为学数据是水质污染监测的主要依据,也是鱼类自身健康状况的反应,提取鱼类行为学数据对水质监测研究至关重要。为了获取鱼类行为学数据,实验提出了一种运用多视图几何原理研究鱼类轨迹跟踪重建的方法,实验中用3个摄像头分别从正面、侧面、俯视面3个方向监控水箱中鱼的游动,通过前景跟踪法在3个摄像头中分别得到一条二维轨迹,再利用多视图几何融合,计算出鱼类在水箱中游动的三维轨迹,从而可以重建鱼类的游动轨迹。实验重建了单条鱼在水箱中游动的三维轨迹,计算出了鱼类的位置信息和实时速度。研究表明,重建轨迹与鱼的真实轨迹虽然存在0.88~2.88 s的延迟,但结果吻合度较高。 展开更多

Strain field investigation of limestone specimen under uniaxial compression loads using particle image velocimetry 被引量:3

The particle image velocimetry (PIV) method was used to investigate the full-field displacements and strains of the limestone specimen under external loads from the video images captured during the laboratory tests.The original colorful video images and experimental data were obtained from the uniaxial compression test of a limestone.To eliminate perspective errors and lens distortion,the camera was placed normal to the rock specimen exposure.After converted into a readable format of frame images,these videos were transformed into the responding grayscale images,and the frame images were then extracted.The full-field displacement field was obtained by using the PIV technique,and interpolated in the sub-pixel locations.The displacement was measured in the plane of the image and inferred from two consecutive images.The local displacement vectors were calculated for small sub-windows of the images by means of cross-correlation.The video images were interrogated in a multi-pass way,starting off with 64×64 images,ending with 16×16 images after 6 iterations,and using 75% overlap of the sub-windows.In order to remove spurious vectors,the displacements were filtered using four filters:signal-to-noise ratio filter,peak height filter,global filter and local filter.The cubic interpolation was utilized if the displacements without a number were encountered.The full-field strain was then obtained using the local least square method from the discrete displacements.The strain change with time at different locations was also investigated.It is found that the normal strains are dependant on the locations and the crack distributions.Between 1.0 and 5.0 s prior to the specimen failure,normal strains increase rapidly at many locations,while a stable status appears at some locations.When the specimen is in a failure status,a large rotation occurs and it increases in the inverse direction.The strain concentration bands do not completely develop into the large cracks,and meso-cracks are not visible in some bands.The techniques presented here may improve the traditional measurement of the strain field,and may provide a lot of valuable information in investigating the deformation/failure mechanism of rock materials. 展开更多

The distinct characteristic of the resources in CADAL is that it not only contains one million digital books of different languages, but also contains Terabyte level multimedia resources (image, video, and so on), which are utilized for education and research purposes. So, in the Portal to CADAL, both the traditional services of browsing and searching of digital books, and the services of quickly retrieving and structurally browsing of multimedia documents should be provided. In addition, the services of visual presentation of retrieved results are required too. With the digital image technology,a crack detection method of reinforced concrete bridge was studied for the performance assessment.The effects including the image gray level,pixel rate,noise filter,and edge detection were analyzed considering cracks qualities.A computer program was developed by visual C++6.0 programming language to detect the cracks,which was tested by 15cases of bridge video images.The results indicate that the relative error is within 6%for cracks larger than 0.3 mm cracks and it is less than 10%for crack width between 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm.In addition,for the crack below 0.1 mm,the relative error is more than30%because the bridge is in safe stage and it is very difficult to detect the actual width of crack. 展开更多

Each of the sharing sub-keys may be a stochastic noise image or a significative image with no information on the original key. But a mass of sub-keys have to be saved actually, which faces the problem of inconvenient discrimination and management. This paper presents a visual cryptography scheme based on the digital signature for image discrimination and management, applying the digital signature and the time-stamp technology to the visual cryptography scheme. The scheme both solves the problem on the storage and management of the sharing sub-keys, increases the verification of image contents, thus enhances the validity of storage and management without security effect. 展开更多

In 3D urban visualization, large data volumes related to buildings are a major factor that limits the delivery and browsing speed in a web-based computer system. This paper proposes a new approach based on the level of detail (LOD) technique advanced in 3D visualization in computer graphics. The key idea of LOD technique is to generalize details of object surfaces without losing details for delivery and displaying objects. This technique has been successfully used in visualizing one or a few multiple objects in films and other industries. However, applying the technique to 3D urban visualization requires an effective generalization method for urban buildings. Conventional two-dimensional (2D) generalization method at different scales provides a good generalization reference for 3D urban visualization, Yet, it is difficult to determine when and where to retrieve data for displaying buildings. To solve this problem, this paper defines an imaging scale point and image scale region for judging when and where to get the fight data for visualization. Usually 2D images acquired with common diagnostic equipments such as UT, CT and MRI are not enough and complete for an accurate 3D reconstruction. There are some interpolation methods for approximating non value voxels which consume large execution time. A novel algorithm is introduced based on generalized regression neural network (GRNN) which can interpolate unknown voxles fast and reliable. The GRNN interpolation is used to produce new 2D images between each two succeeding ultrasonic images. It is shown that the composition of GRNN with image distance transformation can produce higher quality 3D shapes. The results of this method are compared with other interpolation methods practically. It shows this method can decrease overall time consumption on online 3D reconstruction. 展开更多
