Primary benign s...Schwannomas are mesenchymal neoplasms with low malignant potential that arise from Schwann cells. They can occur almost anywhere, although the most common locations are the head, neck and extremities. Primary benign schwannoma of the hepatoduodenal ligament is rare. To date, only three cases have been reported in the English literature. In the present study, we report a case of hepatoduodenal ligament schwannoma in a 43-year-old male, who was admitted to our hospital because of a abdominal mass found by physical examination. It was hard to determine the definitive location and diagnosis of the mass using ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography. During laparotomy, the mass was found in the hepatoduodenal ligament and close to the cholecystic duct, so we resected the gallbladder and cholecystic duct along with the mass. The gross specimen revealed an 8.5 cm × 5.5 cm × 3.0 cm localized tumor. Microscopic examination showed that the tumor was mainly composed of spindle-shaped cells. Immunohistochemical staining showed a strong positive S-100 protein reaction. Finally, the lesion was diagnosed as a benign schwannoma in the hepatoduodenal ligament. However, one month later, the patient was readmitted to our hospital because of skin and sclera jaundice caused by common bile duct stenosis without common bile duct stone or tumor. The patient recovered well after implantation of a common bile duct stent under endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. He was followed up for a period of 17 mo, during which he was well with no complications.展开更多

By innovative use of the attenuator, the linearity handling ability of the system is dramatically improved. The system is designed and fabricated in SMIC 0.18 μm RF CMOS technology. The measurement data show that the front-end provides a total of more than 30rib dynamic range and a noise figure of 5dB in the wide frequency signal band. The prototype front-end consumes only 10mA and achieves an IIP3 of + 20dBm.展开更多

It is tbund that the non-adiabatic heating plays an important role in the position variation of WPSH. In comparison with climatic mean status, the vertical change of non-adiabatic heating is stronger in the north side of WPSH in June 1998, but weaker in the south side of WPSH. The anomalous non-uniform heating induces anomalous cyclonic vorticity in South China, areas to lhe south of the Yangtze and its mid-lower valleys, but anomalous anticyclonic vorticity in the Indo-China Peninsula and South China Sea areas lead to the more southward position of WPSH than the mean.展开更多

The large-scale and sudden video content access such as flash crowds results in huge bandwidth demand,which severely influence user quality of experience and quality of service of video systems.In this paper,we firstl...The large-scale and sudden video content access such as flash crowds results in huge bandwidth demand,which severely influence user quality of experience and quality of service of video systems.In this paper,we firstly discuss the main reason of generation of flash crowds for video streaming services and analyze key factor for balance recovery between supply and demand of upload bandwidth.We construct two models:bandwidth supply capacity model of video systems and bandwidth demand model of users,which measures usage amount of bandwidth of the cloud.Based on the built models,we further employ a community-based cooperative caching strategy of video resources to promote supply capacity of upload bandwidth of video systems.Extensive tests show how the proposed cooperative caching strategy achieves much better performance results in comparison with original solution.展开更多
In order to improve the intelligence of video monitoring system of belt and make up the deficiency of higher failure rate and bad real-time performance in the traditional systems of measurement of belt speed, accordin...In order to improve the intelligence of video monitoring system of belt and make up the deficiency of higher failure rate and bad real-time performance in the traditional systems of measurement of belt speed, according to the fact that the light of coal mine is uneven, the strength of light changes greatly, the direction of belt movement is constant, and the position of camera was fixed, various algorithms of speed measurement by video were studied, and algorithm for template matching based on sum of absolute differences (SAD) and correlation coefficient was proposed and improved, besides, the tracking of feature regions was realized. Then, a camera calibration method using the invariance of the cross-ratio was adopted and the real-time measurement of belt speed by the hardware platform based on DM642 was realized. Finally, experiment results show that this method not only has advantages of high precision and strong anti-jamming capability but also can real-time reflect the changes of belt speed, so it has a comprehensive applicability.展开更多

In spite of its significant uncertainties and limited reliability, the clues ob...Comparison between the NEIC broadband radiated energy catalogue and the Harvard CMT catalogue provides information about apparent stress. In spite of its significant uncertainties and limited reliability, the clues obtained from this comparison seem interesting in the physics of earthquakes. Scaling of apparent stress provides information about the dynamic friction along an earthquake fault. Relation between reduced energy and seismic moment implies that for strike-slip earthquakes, velocity-dependent friction plays a predominant role, while for non-strike-slip earthquakes, slip-dependent friction is predominant. It is also found that strike-slip events with extremely low apparent stress tend to occur “in single”, which is applied to the prediction of the seismic tendency following the 2001 Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) border M W7.8 earthquake.展开更多

The inputs have different Qos requirements such as loss and delay jitter. By applying a modified FBM model, we present methods to estimate effective bandwidth of the aggregated traffic. Simulations were performed to evaluate effective bandwidth. The comparison between the estimation and the simulation shows that the estimations can give correct data for the effective bandwidths in terms of our interests. The analysis of gain by using priority multiplexing also addresses proper Qos configuration for the inputs in order to achieve positive gains.展开更多
