The calculated resu...In order to understand the characteristics of the flow field in the tangential-firing boilerfurnace, the cold and hot flow field in the HG-670/149-9 (200 MW) boiler furnace are numerically studied. The calculated results indicate that the hot flow field is quiet different from the cold one. In the cold Condition, the gas flows in the furnace swirl strongly andthe turbulence is weaker. While, in the hot condition, the swirling flow in the furnace is reduced, consequently, there is no recirculation region in the center zone, and the turbulenceis stronger.展开更多
