[Method] Gene chip technology was used to detect the expression of epithelial genes in neck and groin during anagen and telogen stages in AoHan wool sheep. [Result] The expression of type Ⅰ IRS keratin genes KRT25, KRT26, KRT27 and KRT28 in neck and groin of wool sheep were statistically analyzed, and the result showed that the expression in neck during anagen stage was significantly higher than that in groin (The multiple was more than two times, P0.01). The expression changes of the genes during anagen and telogen stages were compared, and the results showed that the expression of all Type I IRS Keratin genes performed in groin showed significant decrease from anagen stage to telogen stage (P 0.05), the expression changes of other genes were two times higher, except KRT25 (LOC443079). [Conclusion] The result indicated that the expression of type Ⅰ IRS Keratin genes is closely related with the control of wool density in specific part and the whole wool development cycle.展开更多

To evaluate the y...Due to the global expansion of irrigated areas and the limited availability of irrigation water, it is necessary to optimize water use in order to maximize crop yields under water deficit conditions. To evaluate the yield response of two processing tomato hybrids (Ercole and Genius) grown under different irrigation treatments, a field trial was conducted during the 2008 growing season in Southern Italy. Three irrigation treatments were used: the restitution of 70% of maximum evapotranspiration (ETc) both under "Deficit Irrigation" (70DI) and "Partial Root-zone Drying" (70PRD) strategies; full irrigated (FI: 100% ETc). The two water deficit irrigation treatments (DI and PRD) showed stomatal conductance values lower than FI treatment and saved a substantial amount of water maintaining reasonable marketable yield. Moreover, PRD strategy showed slightly higher "Water Use Efficiency" (WUE) values than DI. Finally, "yield response factor" (Ky) showed always values less than unity, indicating the possibility to adopt, within certain limited condition, both DI and PRD in field-grown processing tomato cultivated in Southern Italy. In conclusion, in our experimental conditions, deficit irrigation practices seem to be acceptable relatively to processing tomato yield aspects and Ky could be promoted as a useful indicator for irrigation in water deficit conditions.展开更多
Removal of milling marks at the root fillet of titanium alloy blade is a tough work because of the interference between the polishing tool and the workpiece.A polishing method based on elastic magnetic tool was propos...Removal of milling marks at the root fillet of titanium alloy blade is a tough work because of the interference between the polishing tool and the workpiece.A polishing method based on elastic magnetic tool was proposed.The software ANSYS Maxwell was used to simulate the effect of different pole orientation arrangements on the magnetic field distribution.A comparison of polishing effect was made between elastic and inelastic magnetic pole carriers.The processing parameters of the elastic magnetic tool polishing for the blade root were optimized by orthogonal experiment(Taguchi)method.Results show that compared with the inelastic magnetic polishing tool,the elastic magnetic polishing tool with polyurethane as the pole carrier can effectively improve the surface quality of the polished workpiece.Under the optimal processing parameters(rotational speed=900 r/min,feeding rate=6 mm/min,machining gap=1.5 mm and abrasive size=10‒14μm),the original milling marks at the blade root are effectively removed and the average surface roughness Ra is dropped from 0.95μm to 0.12μm,which verifies the feasibility of the elastic magnetic polishing tool in the surface finishing of the titanium alloy blade root.展开更多

Local duality in the multiplicative case and the case of Jacobians of curves over p-adic local fields are considered. When the local field contains the necessary roots of unity, the case of curves over local fields is polynomial time reducible to the multiplicative case, and the multiplicative case is polynomial time equivalent to computing discrete logarithm in finite fields. When the local field does not contains the necessary roots of unity, similar results can be obtained at the cost of going to an extension that contains these roots of unity. There was evidence in the analysis that suggests that the minimal extension where the local duality can be rationally and algorithmically defined must contain the roots of unity. Therefore, the discrete logarithm problem appears to be well protected against an attack using local duality. These results are also of independent interest for algorithmic study of arithmetic duality as they explicitly relate local duality in the case of curves over local fields to the multiplicative case and Tate-Lichtenbaum pairing (over finite fields).展开更多
