Two alternative formulations of single crystal plasticity model were introduced respectively and two schemes were implemented in the explicit FE code with software ABAQUS/Explicit by writing the user subroutine VUMAT.Meshes containing material data were created with solid elements.Each element represented an individual grain,and the grain orientations were explicitly stored and updated at each increment.Tangential modulus method was employed to calculate the plastic shear strain increment of deformation systems in combination with a hardening law to describe the hardening responses.Both two developed subroutines were applied to simulate the texture evolution during the uniaxial tension of copper(FCC),cold rolling of IF steel(BCC) and uniaxial compression of AZ31 magnesium alloy(HCP).The predicted texture distributions are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results. 展开更多

To collect and share information of projects or products and make it consistent and correct so that the quality and costs of projects can be effectively controlled,an integrative project architecture integrating different types of breakdown structures is necessary.In this paper,the international research status on work breakdown structure(WBS)was analyzed,and an integrative project architecture for commercial aero-engines was designed,where product breakdown structure(PBS),WBS,organization breakdown structure(OBS)and cost breakdown structure(CBS)were integrated and built.And the architecture was applied in information systems.A transfer from technological views of complex products through their lifecycles to management views has been realized with this standardized architecture,thus development tasks and costs can be controlled. 展开更多

Proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) is an effective statistical technique for data reduction and feature extraction of the random field including the wind field. This paper introduces the theory of the POD and illustrates engineering of structures. Using the POD technique, it is shown that wind pressure data can be accurately reconstructed with a limited number of modes using the wind pressure data from wind tunnel test. Comparing the reconstructed values by POD with the original measured values from the wind tunnel test both in the time and frequency domains, it is concluded that the proper orthogonal decomposition(POD) is an efficient and practical technique for deriving the random wind pressure field from limited known data as shown in the pitched roof example in this paper. 展开更多

As China's energy intensity fluctuated in recent years, it is necessary to examine whether this fluctuation happened at a regional level. This paper establishes a decomposition model by using the structural decomposition analysis (SDA) method at a regional level. Then this model is employed to empirically analyze the changes of Beijing's energy intensity. The conclusions are as follows: during 2002-2010, except petroleum, the energy intensity decreased and the changes were mostly attributed to the technology changes, while the final use variation actually increased the energy intensity; comparing different periods of 2002-2010, the decline rates of energy intensity for coal and hydropower were decreasing, resulting from the production technology being more energy-intensive than before; the energy intensity changes of petroleum firstly increased substantially and then decreased moderately. 展开更多

A three-part comb decimator is presented in this paper, for the applications with severe requirements of circuit performance and frequency response. Based on the modified prime factorization method and multistage polyphase decomposition, an efficient non-recursive structure for the cascaded integrator-comb (CIC) decimation filter is derived. Utilizing this structure as the core part, the proposed comb decimator can not only loosen the decimation ratio's limitation, but also balance the tradeoff among the overall power consumption, circuit area and maximum speed. Further, to improve the frequency response of the comb decimator, a cos-prefilter is introduced as the preprocessing part for increasing the aliasing rejection, and an optimum sin-based filter is used as the compensation part for decreasing the passband droop. 展开更多

An integrated optimization design was described using multilevel decomposition technique on the base of the parametric distribution and independent axiom at the stages of lower level. Based on Pareto optimum solution, the detailed parameters at lower level can be defined into the independent axiom. The suspension design was used as the simulation example. In an axiomatic design for the optimization design, the uncoupled and decoupled designs between functional requirements and design parameters are generally needed. But using the design sensitivity(or screening) of design parameters, the approximate uncoupled design is developed on behalf of the decoupled and coupled designs. Successive design parameters were applied to the suspension of torsion beam axle. The structural performance increases by 18%. The kinematic and compliance performance increases by 6% within the feasible ranges. 展开更多
