Firstly, a word class analysis is conducted on the reduplication words in The Book of Songs. Based on their different grammatical functions, reduplication words in The Book of Songs are divided into noun reduplication words, verb reduplication words, adjective reduplication words, phonetic reduplication words, and other word class reduplication words. Secondly, due to the differences in the characteristics of different parts of speech reduplication words, this article explores the syntactic components undertaken by different parts of speech reduplication words in a sentence and their combination with other components. Furthermore, from the perspective of syntactic structure, the article systematically summarizes the positions of different types of reduplication words in poetry and their relationships with other sentence components. The article conducts a detailed analysis from these two perspectives in order to deepen our understanding of the categories and application rules of reduplicated words in The Book of Songs.展开更多

In both Chinese and Japanese languages, there are five tastes, namely “sour, sweet, bitter, spicy and salty”. Of the five basic human tastes, only “bitter” is widely used in Buddhism. More than any other taste word, “bitter” not only plays an important role in food culture, but also is often used to modify the spiritual world and life situation of human beings, showing the essence of human life. Therefore, this paper takes the Chinese and Japanese taste words “Ku” and “Nigai” as the objects of study, collects relevant examples from the corpus, and conducts a comparative study of the two, examining their respective semantic expansions and lexical features.展开更多
