This can significa...In centralized cellular network architecture,the concept of virtualized Base Station(VBS) becomes attracting since it enables all base stations(BSs) to share computing resources in a dynamic manner. This can significantly improve the utilization efficiency of computing resources. In this paper,we study the computing resource allocation strategy for one VBS by considering the non-negligible effect of delay introduced by switches. Specifically,we formulate the VBS's sum computing rate maximization as a set optimization problem. To address this problem,we firstly propose a computing resource schedule algorithm,namely,weight before one-step-greedy(WBOSG),which has linear computation complexity and considerable performance. Then,OSG retreat(OSG-R) algorithm is developed to further improve the system performance at the expense of computational complexity. Simulation results under practical setting are provided to validate the proposed two algorithms.展开更多

Previous work used the nurrber of drops in the ...This paper aims at designing a better net-work i,,imozatopm strategy to fight against the Sus- ceptible-Infected-Susceptible (SIS) type epidemic spreading in networks. Previous work used the nurrber of drops in the spectral radius of the net-work for evaluation and guiding the design of im-munization strategies. Instead, we propose using the infected node number in the steady state of SIS spreading as the appropriate metric. We use the metric to point out the limitations of the Equal Graph Partitioning (EGP) strategy and the "max-△λ" strategy, which are two representative network inmmnization strategies, and then identify the criti-cal role of epidemic spreading parameters in the e-valuation and design of network immuzization strat- egies. Based on all of these, we design a new immuzization strategy. Simulation results show that our strategy performs consistently better than the EGP strategy. In many cases, it uses only 50% less re-sources to achieve the same immuzization effect.展开更多

It also dominated its creative and educational capabilities through making him distracted in formal non-rational overestimated compositions without dealing with the concerns and needs of the society and sympathize with its affection that led to the appearance of an intellectual crisis resulted from the loss of design strategy in the current trends among some Jordanian architects. As such, not only substantial amount of the leading architectural intellect had deteriorated to formal practices but also it took another approach, becoming incomplete intellectual isolation practicing an overestimated architecture that satisfies free markets requirements which appeared along with the globalization economy. This study attempts to comparatively investigate the variation in some architectural practices as a methodology based on design readings of the previous issues which were characterized of architectural uniqueness and current issues that lack of the existing intellectual references.展开更多
