For the system has only one excited state, the computer simulation and analysis lead to the conclusions that, the number of refractory states does not influence the wave-front speed; the wave- front speed decreases as the excitation threshold increases and increases as the neighbor radius increases; the period of target waves is equal to the number of cell states; the excitation condition for target waves is that the wave-front speed must be bigger than half of the neighbor radius.展开更多

[Method] Dynamic predicted response model of Lijiang tourism market was established, through the gray correlation model GM (1, 1) and time-series method, using a computer simulation program for the actual model of operation, Lijiang tourism prospects were predicted and predicting results were evaluated. [Result] Total revenue of model gray parameter of Lijiang tourism a= 0.572 3 from 2009 to 2011, internal control parameters u=0.393 7, x(t+1) =-0.563 3exp(-0.572 3t)+0.688 0; total reception numbers of model gray parameter of Lijiang tourism a = 0.125 6, internal control parameters u = 344. 326 0, x(t+1)=3 102.483 5 exp(0.125 6 t)-2 741.283 5. Test results of two models showed that fitting degrees were good, and at the same time predicted that total revenue of Lijiang tourism reached 13 000 000 000, and total reception numbers reached 8 800 000. [Conclusion] This predicted system can carry out precision forecast for other tourist areas when cannot get all the information.展开更多

Computer based models that simulate human crowd dynamics prove to offer the optimum way to predict the crowd realistic behavior especially in emergency situations. This paper presents a vital extension of my previous work in which an individual-based model to simulate the behavior of human crowd was developed using the artificial potential fields to describe the interaction forces between each crowd member and the environment on one side and amongst the crowd members on the other side to add realistic flavor to the predicted crowd behavior. In this paper, the successive multi-goals (SMG) method, which is a new method to represent the environment in which the crowd moves, is developed. Rather than using the traditional static potential field, the successive multi-goals method uses a dynamic potential field which is vital to solve the reactive problem that is considered as a drawback of the model when simulating the human crowd behavior during evacuation of buildings whose structures are complex such as bottlenecks and narrow corridors. Numerical results that match the real behavior of human individuals in emergency situations prove the efficiency of the new method to solve the problem on an individual basis as well as its applicability.展开更多

Methods: By means of computer simulation method, the constructed lumbar spine three-dimensional model was introduced into three-dimensional finite element analysis by software Ansys 7.0. The lumbar spine mechanical behavior in different parts of the stress loading were calculated. Impact load is 0-8000 N. The peak value was 8000 N. The loading time is 0-40 minutes. The values of the main stress, stress distribution and the lumbar spine unit displacement in the direction of main stress were analyzed. Results: The lumbar spine model was divided into a total of 121 239 nodes, 112 491 units. It could objectively reflect the true anatomy of lumbar spine and its biomechanical behavior and obtain the end-plate images under different stress. The stress distribution on the lumbar intervertebral disc (L3-L4) under the axial, lateral flexion and extension stress, and the displacement trace of the corresponding processus articularis were analyzed. Conclusion: It is helpful to analyze the stress distribution of lumbar spine and units displacement in static stress loading in the clinical research of lumbar spine injury and the distribution of internal stress.展开更多

Calcium is responsible messenger for transmitting information in communication process between neurons. The most important Ca^2+ binding proteins for the dynamics of Ca^2+ is itself buffer and other physiological parameters are located in Ca^2+ stores. In this study, the model incorporates the physiological parameters like diffusion coefficient, receptors, exogenous buffers etc. Appropriate boundary conditions have been framed in view of the physiological conditions. Computer simulations in MATLAB 7.11 are employed to investigate mathematical models of reaction-diffusion equation, the details of the implementation can heavily affect the numerical solutions and, thus, the outcome simulated on Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz processing speed and 3GB memory.展开更多
