为了对工程图的局部信息进行有效检索,在正投影理论和投影规则的基础上,以拓扑层次树为评价模型构建了工程图重用检索系统。通过引入投影的视图模型概念,以反映产品某一基本视图投影的形状和几何属性的投影域获取为基础,构建了反映投影... 为了对工程图的局部信息进行有效检索,在正投影理论和投影规则的基础上,以拓扑层次树为评价模型构建了工程图重用检索系统。通过引入投影的视图模型概念,以反映产品某一基本视图投影的形状和几何属性的投影域获取为基础,构建了反映投影域空间位置关系的拓扑关系邻接矩阵。通过建立冗余包含关联对及单一包含关联对,达到对空间包含关系的聚合。以所建立基本视图中的投影域的拓扑位置关系为基础,构建体现投影域空间位置关系的拓扑层次树。以拓扑层次树为评价模型,对树的层间和层内相似性进行评价,达到对拓扑层次树进行整体相似评价的目的。实验结果表明,该检索方法具有较好的查全率和查准率,能有效支撑工程图的相似性评价。 展开更多

Simulations of photoresist etching,aerial image,exposure,and post-bake processes are integrated to obtain a photolithography process simulation for microelectromechanical system(MEMS) and integrated circuit(IC) fabrication based on three-dimensional (3D) cellular automata(CA). The simulation results agree well with available experimental results. This indicates that the 3D dynamic CA model for the photoresist etching simulation and the 3D CA model for the post-bake simulation could be useful for the monolithic simulation of various lithography processes. This is determined to be useful for the device-sized fabrication process simulation of IC and MEMS. 展开更多

Starting with the discussion of data modelling requirements for CAD applications, appropriate data modelling features are introduced herewith. A feasible approach to select the “best” data model for an application is to analyze the data which has to be stored in the database. A data model is appropriate for modelling a given task if the information of the application environment can be easily mapped to the data model. Thus, the involved data are analyzed and then object oriented data model appropriate for CAD applications are derived. Based on the reviewed object oriented techniques applied in CAD, object oriented data modelling in CAD is addressed in details. At last 3D geometrical data models and implementation of their data model using the object oriented method are presented. 展开更多

提出一种合成孔径雷达(SAR,Synthetic Aperture Radar)图像舰船识别新技术.首先通过将SAR图像逆投影至三维(3-D,Three-Dimensional)目标空间,提取目标空间3-D逆投影散射图(BPSI,Back Projection Scattering Image)来表征观测舰船目标的... 提出一种合成孔径雷达(SAR,Synthetic Aperture Radar)图像舰船识别新技术.首先通过将SAR图像逆投影至三维(3-D,Three-Dimensional)目标空间,提取目标空间3-D逆投影散射图(BPSI,Back Projection Scattering Image)来表征观测舰船目标的强散射源三维分布;然后采用物理光学法预测各候选舰船目标的3-D热点散射图(HSPI,Hot Scattering Point Image),进而匹配3-D BPSI与3-D HSPI来识别舰船.为了提高计算效率,采用一种两级分层匹配策略:第1步利用几何特征进行预筛选;少数被选取的候选目标参与第2步的分类判决,同时设计一种便于实现的"模糊"匹配准则,克服了"点对点"准则对计算误差等非理想因素敏感的问题.仿真和实测舰船SAR图像的实验结果,显示了3-D散射特征在目标区分能力和可视化效果方面的优势,证明了该方法的有效性. 展开更多

Tolerance is imperative for seamless integration of CAD/CAM(Computer Aided Disign/Computer Aided Manufacture) which is just a text attribute and has no semantics in present CAD systems. There are many tolerance types, the relations between which are very complicated. In addition, the different principles of tolerance make study of tolerance difficult; and there may be various meanings or interpretation for the same type of tolerance because of the literal definition. In this work, latest unambiguous mathematical definition was applied to study, explain and clarify: (1) the formation and representation of tolerance zone, and (2) the formation and representation of variational elements; after which, the mathematical models of symmetry of different tolerance principles and different interpretations were derived. An example is given to illustrate the application of these models in tolerance analysis. 展开更多

Traditional MEMS (microelectromechanical system) design methodology is not a structured method and has become an obstacle for MEMS creative design. In this paper, a novel method of mask synthesis and verification for surface micro-machined MEMS is proposed, which is based on the geometric model of a MEMS device. The emphasis is focused on synthesizing the masks at the basis of the layer model generated from the geometric model of the MEMS device. The method is comprised of several steps: the correction of the layer model, the generation of initial masks and final masks including multi-layer etch masks, and mask simulation. In order to support the functional design and simulation and the final fabrication processes for functional surfaces,it is necessary to obtain a multi-scale modelling approach representing both macro geometry and micro details of the surface in one unified model.Based on the fractal geometry theory,a synthesized model is proposed by mathematically combining Weierstrass-Mandelbrot fractal function in micro space and freeform CAGD model in macro space.Key issues of the synthesis,such as algorithms for fractal interpolation of freeform profiles,and visualization optimization for fractal details,are addressed.A prototype of the integration solution is developed based on the platform of AutoCAD's Object ARX,and a few multi-scale modelling examples are used as case studies.With the consistent mathematic model,multi-scale surface geometries can be represented precisely.Moreover,the visualization result of the functional surfaces shows that the visualization optimization strategies developed are efficient. 展开更多

This paper presents an automatic non-photorealistic rendering approach to generating technical illustration from 3D models. It first decomposes the 3D object into a set of CSG primitives, and then performs the hidden surface removal based on the prioritized list, in which the rendition order of CSG primitives is sorted out by depth. Then, each primitive is illustrated by the pre-defined empirical lighting model, and the system mimics the stroke-drawing by user-specified style. In order to artistically and flexibly modulate the illumination, the empirical lighting model is defined by three major components: parameters of multi-level lighting intensities, parametric spatial occupations for each lighting level, and an interpolation method to calculate the lighting distribution over primitives. The stylized illustration is simulated by a grid-based method, in which we ‘fill’ the desirable pictorial units into the spatial occupation of CSG primitives, instead of “pixel-by-pixel” painting. This region-by-region shading facilitates the simulation of illustration styles. 展开更多

The problem of computing a piecewise linear approximation to a surface from its sample has been a focus of research in geometry modeling and graphics due to its widespread applications in computer aided design. In this paper, we give a new algorithm, to be called offset surface filtering (OSF) algorithm, which computes a piecewise-linear approximation of a smooth surface from a finite set of cloud points. The algorithm has two main stages. First, the surface normal on every point is estimated by the least squares best fitting plane method. Second, we construct a restricted Delaunay triangulation, which is a tubular neighborhood of the surface defined by two offset surfaces. The algorithm is simple and robust. We describe an implementation of it and show example outputs. 展开更多
