纪念改革开放三十周年云南省第十届新剧(节)目展演从11月22日～12月9日在昆明举行,由展演组委会宣传评论组邀请专家评论员和参演单位主创人员、媒体记者、热心观众召开了四次高水准的评论会,从戏剧、舞蹈、音乐等专业艺术门类的角度分析作品,也从民族学、社会学、人类学以及艺术性、审美欣赏等多个视角进行评论;既充分肯定每一个剧(节)目的闪光点,也中肯地提出还存在不足、需要完善的部分,为参演剧(节)目进一步完善提高献言献策;强调艺术创新对于文化艺术事业至关重要的作用,呼吁加强我省的文艺理论批评和研究。

圣马丽诺·桥别墅建筑观察评论会实录（下）

这个项目我最初的了解来自于浦东龙东大道上的广告上。现场的感受是形式与众不同，色彩材质等比较吸引人。建筑风格较之周边的同类产品比较独特，在容积率0．33的情况下，环境设计算得上精致，桥、入口、绿化等的处理很有细节；对业主来说感受应该比较舒适。我想到一个有趣的现象：今天看到这个房子这种状态，再过几十年这种状态还是能够保持下去，不会旧的感觉。

公开课后的评论会如期在晚上举行了。全校语文组的教师陆续而至，顿时塞满了整个年段室。

论文评论会:提升高校本科教学水准的有益尝试

缘起高等教育的大众化,使中国大学在新世纪之交进入一个快速发展时期。在新时期下,如何保证教学质量,近七年来,笔者通过数届学生实验,觉得举办论文评论会不失为一个经济有效,且容易操作的办法。而此举颇受学生和同行的好评,甚至在一些兄弟院校推广。

浙江大学紫金港校区东区规划专家评论会

继《建筑学报》2003编委会之后,编委们实地考察和参观了浙江大学紫金港校区东区建筑,2003年10月31日上午在浙江大学新园区召开了校园规划评论会,参加会议的除编委外还有浙江大学领导、基建部人员以及浙江省建筑师分会代表,会议由周畅主编主持,浙江大学校长潘云鹤院士对校区营造思想进行了阐述,随后编委们见仁见智,从不同角度对规划提出了宝贵的意见。现摘录如下,以飨读者:

太极图在顶级化学期刊Chemical Society Review中的应用

太极图是中国传统文化的瑰宝,也是中华民族审美文化的源头,受到国人的尊崇。有研究者发现,太极图与数学、物理学等自然科学有着密不可分的联系。从自然辩证法的角度看,太极图与化学也有相通之处。故太极图也出现在了某些化学类期刊论文中,用于更直观更艺术地表现化学类论文的主旨思想及化学类期刊的风采。虽然太极图起源于我国并成为我国最优秀传统文化的凝聚,但相对于国内化学期刊,国外化学类期刊似乎更加偏爱太极图,尤其在封面和图形摘要的设计方面,比如国外顶级化学类期刊Chemical Society Review,尤其钟爱太极图,仅2016年出版的24期期刊,在封面和图形摘要中就出现了11次太极图的相关模型。文章着重讨论一下该刊频繁采用太极图的原因及相关设计思路,以期为国内化学期刊的出版提供借鉴。

Contribution of ecotourism to poverty alleviation in Nyanga,Zimbabwe

This paper assesses the contribution of ecotourism to local communities and the environment.Livelihoods of local communities are examined to understand the socioeconomic situation of people living in proximity to ecotourism areas and their participation in ecotourism activities. The impact of ecotourism on the environment in Nyanga is also examined. The paper employs both literature review(secondary data) and a field survey(primary data) to achieve these objectives. To gather socioeconomic data of households and tourist traits, questionnaires were administered to120 households and 30 tourists in the study area. Key informant interviews were held in the survey to gather expert knowledge about ecotourism trends and environmental data in the area.Data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences. Descriptive and inferential analyses were used for quantitative data while content and structural-functional analyses were used for qualitative data. The research revealed that ecotourism offers the highest salaries when compared to other sources of formal employment. Ecotourism activities were shown to positively impact the environment through the protection, preservation, and management of natural resources. The study concludes that ecotourism is a useful and sustainable poverty alleviation strategy which has not yet been fully exploited in Zimbabwe.

Fake Reviews Tell No Tales？ Dissecting Click Farming in Content-Generated Social Networks

Recently, there has been a radial shift from traditional online social networks to content-generated social networks(CGSNs). Contemporary CGSNs, such as Dianping and Trip Advisor, are often the targets of click farming in which fake reviews are posted in order to boost or diminish the ratings of listed products and services simply through clicking. Click farming often emanates from a collection of multiple fake or compromised accounts, which we call click farmers. In this paper, we conduct a three-phase methodology to detect click farming. We begin by clustering communities based on newly-defined collusion networks. We then apply the Louvain community detection method to detecting communities. We finally perform a binary classification on detected-communities. Our results of over a year-long study show that(1) the prevalence of click farming is different across CGSNs;(2) most click farmers are lowly-rated;(3) click-farming communities have relatively tight relations between users;(4) more highly-ranked stores have a greater portion of fake reviews.

Inflammatory bowel disease-associated spondyloarthropathies

This issue presents a symposium held in Messina talking about inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) and associated spondyloarthropathies.The topic covers epidemiology and clinical manifestations of IBD-related arthropathies, common genetic and immunologic features, combined therapies for gut and joint inflammation, and future biologic therapies etc.I believe this series of articles will deeply facilitate understanding of and the approach to IBD and associated arthropathies.

Iraqi Personality in Light of Ali Al-Wardi＇s Works： A Critical Review

This paper sheds light on the Iraqi personality in light of writings of the Iraqi eminent sociologist Dr. Ali Al-Wardi and gives a critical review to his main findings and hypotheses. Al-Wardi was the main person who established the first department of sociology in Iraq and the spiritual father or the real father of sociology in the country. He wrote prestigious works about the Iraqi society including some hypotheses focusing on the Iraqi personality, such as the dual personality and social dissonance. These findings and hypotheses are not above criticism of course. The method we depend on here is the content analysis methodology. The paper consists of seven parts; part one is the introduction which includes a short glimpse on the subject and A1-Wardi＇s methodology. Part two deals with Al-Wardi and studying Iraqi personality. Part three, discusses the dual personality, and part four, the social dissonance. Part five, exposures tackling the problem where Al-Wardi suggests some points. Part six deals with the discussion. Finally, there is a conclusion under the part seven.

A Possible Narrative Section Harmonisation？ The Role of the Practice Statement Management Commentary

The Practice Statement provides a flexible approach to preparation of the management commentary, generating more meaningful disclosure and discussing those matters that are more relevant to the company＇s individual circumstances. In this direction, the International Accounting Standards Board （IASB） has highlighted some content elements recognised as being fundamental for guaranteeing the usefulness of the management commentary. With reference to these elements, it is interesting to analyse the level of disclosure of the financial reporting. These analyses aim to identify the themes dealt with most extensively by the companies and those that require greater attention so that the narrative section of the financial statement is, on the one hand, at least consistent with the suggestions of the guideline and, on the other hand, contains information that is useful for the users. Lastly, in the light of the relevant European Union （EU） directives, the results of the analysis will help to formulate considerations on the ability of the IASB guideline to improve the completeness of the narrative section. All this is examined in a cross-country dimension： Financial reports in Italy and the United Kingdom （UK） are examined. The content analysis methodology is applied. Within the financial reporting, the management discussion is examined in particular. The analysis is performed considering 2008. This qualitative paper will contribute to the studies on disclosure and usefulness of the information provided.

The Impact of International Accounting Standards Board （IASB）＇s Guidelines for Preparing Management Commentary （MC）： Evidence From Italian Listed Firms

This paper investigates the Italian firms＇ disclosure in response to the new guidance on the management commentary （MC） contained in the International Financial Reporting Standard （IFRS） practice statement issued by International Accounting Standards Board （IASB） in 2010. The study is organized as follows. After reviewing the relevant literature on financial disclosure and MC, this paper examines the content of the Italian management＇s report-----known as ＂Relazione sulla Gestione＂ and that of the recent IASB＇s IFRS practice statement. Hence, it applies a self-constructed disclosure index and a multiple correspondence analysis （MCA） on MC of a sample of 66 Italian non-financial listed firms. The results show that the level of disclosures provided by the Italian listed firms does not seem to be affected by the IASB＇s guidelines. However, the survey highlights large differences in the level and type of disclosure provided in MC among the sectors and firms. This paper aims to contribute to the financial reporting debate by understanding the IASB＇s guidelines and their impacts on the voluntary disclosure practices of Italian listed firms.

Positive Discourse Analysis of Hillary Clinton＇ s Concession Address

As a new field in the Discourse Analysis, Positive Discourse Analysis （PDA） is increasingly arousing more attention of linguistic scholars at home and abroad. However, in the field of the concession addresses, the studies on this kind of political text are limited. The winners of presidential election always draw much attention from the world and their speeches, for example, presidential inaugural address has been a hot study topic of linguistics. Nevertheless, the losers of presidential election are always neglected by the world and the study on concession address is scarce and rare. Therefore, the meaning of study on the concession speech helps fill the gap of the discourse analysis. This thesis applies the PDA under the framework of appraisal theory to analyze five concession speeches with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study aims to complement CDA （Critical Discourse Analysis） to emphasize positive social construction of political discourse.

Multimodality approach for locally advanced esophageal cancer

Carcinoma of the esophagus is an aggressive and lethal malignancy with an increasing incidence worldwide.Incidence rates vary internationally,with the highest rates found in Southern and Eastern Africa and Eastern Asia,and the lowest in Western and Middle Africa and Central America.Patients with locally advanced disease face a poor prognosis,with 5-year survival rates ranging from 15%-34%.Recent clinical trials have evaluated different strategies for management of locoregional cancer;however,because of stage migration and changes in disease epidemiology,applying these trials to clinical practice has become a daunting task.We searched Medline and conference abstracts for randomized studies published in the last 3 decades.We restricted our search to articles published in English.Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy followed by surgical resection is an accepted standard of care in the United States.Esophagectomy remains an essential component of treatment and can lead to improved overall survival,especially when performed at high volume institutions.The role of adjuvant chemotherapy following curative resection is still unclear.External beam radiation therapy alone is considered palliative and is typically reserved for patients with a poor performance status.

A Hybrid Approach for Selection in Service Community

Although there have been existing competitions among web service （WS） providers, they still have opportunities to cooperate together for common profits. WS community as a mean to provide an ontological organization of WSs that share the same domain of interest has realized this kind of fancy in the sense that providers can work together to compete against others outside the community. Service selection in WS community is different from the traditional service selection, since WS community should take into account its own benefits. Therefore, we propose a hybrid approach to make service selection in WS community. The approach considers the profits of both WS community and the services within it. The experimental evaluation shows that the approach has a great advantage over other approach without consideration of community＇s benefits.

A Review of Environmental Sociology and the Sociology of Natural Resources:Insights for the Development of Environmental Sociology in China

Environmental sociology and the sociology of natural resources are two key subdisciplines of the sociological study on the interactions between nature and human society.Previous discussion on the relationships of these two fields has largely focused on their distinctions and synthesis in western(particularly American) academia.Environmental sociology emerged as an important sociological subdiscipline in China in the early 1990s and is under vigorous disciplinary construction at present.By contrast,the sociology of natural resources is still a novel term for most Chinese researchers.This article provides a systematic review of recent literature on the relationships between environmental and natural resource sociologies,which should provide important implications for the further development of environmental sociology in China.

The socialist dimensions of democracy --with comments on the myth of the bourgeoisie and democratic politics

Barrington Moore＇s ＂No bourgeoisie, no democracy＂ made democracy a monopoly of the bourgeoisie. Today, this has evolved into Huntington＇s thesis that the middle class has brought with it democracy. Proceeding from the relationship between the history of the socialist movement and comparative institutional change, we find that democracy has experienced a process of development involving the combination of positive and negative, from its original purpose of realizing majority rule in which everyone is equal to a tool for protecting the property rights of the minority, viz. the bourgeoisie, and thence to a tool for the mass of the people to realize equal rights today. In the course of its development, the main contribution of the bourgeoisie has been constitution-building and elite democracy, while the advent of mass democracy should be attributed to the workers＇ movement with the lower classes as its main force and to the struggles of other non-bourgeois strata. To gain a renewed awareness of the socialist attribute of democracy on the basis of an examination of the historical course of democracy helps us question the universality of a social science shaped by particular experiences.
