With the deepening of the new curriculum reform and the latest revision of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 edition) (hereinafter referred to as the “Curriculum Standards” (2022 edition)), in view of the problems such as the solidified teaching mode of Chinese reading in primary schools, the outdated design concept of reading teaching, and the falsification of questions, this study takes the second unit of Volume 1 of Primary 5 Chinese in the unified edition of Primary School as an example. Under the learning theme of this unit, through in-depth exploration of the connotation of Chinese core quality and innovative reading teaching mode, it is proposed that teachers should use corresponding teaching strategies and other education optimization strategies according to the learning theme of this unit to improve the quality of primary school Chinese reading teaching.展开更多
