随着《高等学校英语类专业本科教学质量国家标准》和新版《大学英语教学指南》的研制和相继颁布,新一轮高校英语教学改革已然开始。作为教育教学活动主体之一的教师在改革中扮演的角色和发挥的作用不能忽视。本文用现象图析学方法探讨了外语教师在课程/教学改革中的角色和作用。研究发现案例教师对改革的认知存在质性差异;教师对自己在改革中的角色认知呈多元化;课程/教学改革对教师自我角色认知有影响。据此,本文对改革倡导者和推动者提供了一些建议。

Study on Massive Open Online Course and College English Teaching Reform

Genetics in medical school curriculum:A look at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Genetics is assuming an increasingly important role in medicine. As a result,the teaching of genetics should also be increased proportionally to ensure that future physicians will be able to take advantage of the new genetic technology,and to understand the associated ethical,legal and social issues. At the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry,we have been able to incorporate genetic education into a four-year medical curriculum in a fully integrated fashion. This model may serve as a template for other medical curriculum still in development.

The Design and Implementation of the Network Interactive Virtual Experiment Platform for Electronic Information Courses

Experimental teaching plays a crucial role in the trainings of students＇ abilities to analyze and solve problems. Therefore, it is very necessary to continuously carry out experiment teaching reform, improve experiment teaching methods and means, and comprehensively open laboratories so as to provide students with more opportunities of doing experiments. To improve the teaching effect of electronic information experimental courses, a network interactive virtual experimental platform is developed. This platform allows students to finish the construction of all kinds of circuit structures and test virtual instruments in a simulation environment, upload experimental data and also interactively communicate with teachers through the lnternet. The platform can be applied to the teaching activities of related electronic information experimental courses, and also can be used as an aid teaching method for theory teachers. Therefore, it possesses a very good interactivity, and makes up the disadvantages of the experimental teaching in hardware environment, so that a feasible solution is provided for the opening of laboratories.

College English Curriculum Reform and Practice Based on Culture Cognitive Analysis From the New Media Prospective

With the increase of international cultural exchange, training and strengthening college students＇ cultural cognitive ability is a burgeoning research subject in today＇s foreign language teaching profession of colleges and universities Cross-cultural communication skills and cultural cognition abilities have become an important measure of the ability of the modem language talents. This paper tries to implement a comprehensive reform of college English curriculum system through an empirical research in order to improve students＇ cultural cognitive abilities and cross-cultural communicative competence and change the non-ideal situation in college English teaching. Its valuable experience can greatly promote language teaching and help other universities reform their college English curriculum.

Based on an Integrated Teaching of the ＂Retail Management＂ Analysis of Curriculum Reform

Vocational colleges teaching curriculum reform is an important content. Retail Management course is a relatively new course, more and more attention are paid by the university. But the old education system in the retail management course teaching practice is of flaw. This paper aims to explore retail management curriculum reform. The Strategy of Integrating Enterprise Culture into College English Teaching Under the New Curriculum Reform

With the overall promotion of the new curriculum reform, teachers’ teaching ideas have greatly changed. Presenting the comparative analysis of summative assessment and formative assessment, discussing respective definitions and features of summative assessment and formative assessment, this paper attempts to construct the formative assessment mode in college English teaching mode of autonomous learning, and combine formative assessment and summative assessment. Strategies on Curriculum Reform of Hotel Management by Integrating Theory and Practice into Teaching

Integrating theory and practice into teaching is an advanced pedagogy, particularly suitable for the cultivation of applied talents in higher vocational colleges. In this paper, the author first discusses the connotation of the teaching method as integration of theory and practice and illustrates the background and significance of employing this teaching method in the curriculum reform of hotel management in higher vocational colleges. After that, the teaching content, methods as well as evaluation system are elaborated for implementing the integration of theory and practice teaching, and finally, some countermeasures are put forward for improving this teaching method.
