An Optimum and Effective Drawing Teaching System in Engineering

In this study, the authors shall illustrate the difficulties, pros and cons of ＂Technical Drawing＂ courses in engineering curriculums. The authors also show the efficiency, effectiveness of students＇ grasping the engineering drawing concepts in depth. The authors have conducted a survey on students and their instructors for teaching the course. Whether the course should be taught with manual handling and then computerized or starting with computer aid and finishing the content of the course, the authors shall also go in detail of syllabus how the drawing rooms and aid tools will be. This part of study shall look into the ergonomics, safety and conditions of classrooms. Responses of 300 students will be shared in this presentation. Statistical analysis will detect the effects of different factors involved in the questionnaire.

Implications of exergaming for the physical education curriculum in the 21st century

Exergaming provides an initial situationally interesting environment in physical education （PE） that serves to motivate novice players to engage in PE or physical activity. Current research suggests, however, that as students persist in this activity their situational interest decreases as their ability to exercise consistently at moderate intensity levels increases. In this article I will briefly review the literature citing benefits of exergaming and the role of exergaming in contemporary PE curricula before turning to the question of the place of exergaming in a learning- oriented approach to PE. I will suggest that exergaming, when taught within a situated learning framework, can contribute to student under- standing of the effects of exercise on their bodies and may produce meaningful lessons to assist students to create, monitor, and adapt a fitness plan to participate in life long exercise using a variety of physical activities. Knowledge, transfer, and innovation in physical literacy curricula

Literate individuals possess knowledge and skill and can apply these to perform tasks in novel settings. Knowledge is at the heart of physical literacy and provides the foundation for knowing what to do and how and when to perform. In this paper I argue that physical literacy includes not only knowledge for performance but also the ability to apply knowledge and use knowledge for innovation. Scholars since the 1930s have addressed the role of knowledge in physical literacy designing curricula centered on transmitting knowledge through a range of interdisciplinary approaches to physical education. This emphasis on physical literacy curricula continues today in the Science, PE, ＆ Me.t and The Science of Healthful Living interdisciplinary curricula.

Stylistics and college English test

Language learners can hardly develop their communicative competence and aesthetic appreciation of literary works without the awareness of stylistics. Since CET-4 and CET-6 direct college students in China, as learners of English as a foreign language, what to learn and how to learn English, they naturally reflect the importance of stylistics. This paper gives a stylistic analysis of the listening and reading part in CET-4 and CET-6 to show it is important for non-English majors to have some knowledge of stylistics.

The Exclusion of Fencing Within the Curriculum of Schools of the Valencian Community

One of the least selected contents by teachers of physical education （PE） in high school is the combat sport. Several authors have reported the neglect suffered by these activities in the Spanish school environment, stating a number of social prejudices and beliefs that affect their selection in school, e.g., they are aggressive and dangerous. Fencing is usually not included for several reasons; lack of knowledge about sport, its complexity, the cost of practice materials, lack of teaching materials, and the limited researches. This paper presents the results of a survey of 106 PE teachers of Valencia （Spain） in order to know what are the main causes that affect the non-selection of fencing as a sport in school, with emphasis on the lack of training and materials, both specific in fencing＇s learning.

Analysis on the Optimization of the P.E. Course Teaching Plan in Colleges and Universities

In the new period, the physical education in colleges and universities is of greater and greater significance for the enhancement of students＇ learning efficiency. In this paper, the current situation of the current physical education is analyzed, and also related suggestions on the optimization of the P.E. course teaching plan are proposed.

In the Name of ESP Comments on the Recent Discussion on College English Teaching Reform in China

One of the most controversial debate topics in current College English teaching is whether EGP （English for General Purposes） should be replaced by ESP （English for Specific Purposes）. The latest College English Curriculum issued by MOE （Ministry of Education） does not reflect the trend of developing College English Teaching by focusing on ESP, but rather on improving general English course books. However, the first local College English Curriculum published in 2012 in Shanghai focuses on developing ESP and English for academic purpose as its teaching objectives. This paper analyzes different definitions of ESP in China＇s education setting, compares different views on handling the relationship between EGP and ESP in China＇s College English Reform, and explores how to apply an appropriate notion of EGP to College English teaching in China.

Study and Practice of ＂Harmonious Teaching Method＂ in Art Course Teaching of College Physical Education Taking College Sports Dance Teaching As an Example

The ultimate goal of college personnel training is ＂comprehensively implementing quality-oriented education and cultivating innovation-oriented personnel＂. The application of ＂harmonious teaching method＂ in the sports dance teaching of general colleges can help theoretically analyze the teaching process of existing sports dance actions and reveal the main reason for the gap with the goal of ＂comprehensive harmonious development＂, and also can verify the theoretical analysis results. Therefore, using teaching experiment method, experiment class and control class were selected for implementing two different teaching methods. Difference T test of small samples average was made on the acquired data for revealing the teaching effect difference between two different teaching methods. The result shows that the difference between two teaching methods was significant. The application of ＂harmonious teaching method＂ in the sports dance teaching of physical education of general colleges plays a certain positive role in training the comprehensive and harmonious moral, intellectual and physical developments of college students.

Investigation fbr teaching mode of developmental biology

The reform of teaching mode, arrangement of curriculum content and investigation for relevant theory can promote the development of the biology course, and can greatly improve the research value of developmental biology. Based on this, this paper will analyze the course content, the teaching mode and the content of multimedia courseware by combining with content of developmental biology.

Research on Creating Rich-Media-Based Teaching Resources of Chinese Language Education

This paper investigates the promotion of rich media techniques and creation of teaching resources in Chinese language education curriculums. Infusing rich media technology with teaching practice, teachers should not only introduce original thinking, new skills and authentic knowledge to students, but also should emphasize on creativity. In this sense, the resources created within the curriculums are possible to develop and in turn, accumulate more teaching resources and materials for Chinese language education.

Research on the Development Trend of Contemporary Vocal Music Education System from the Curriculum Optimization Perspective

In this paper, we conduct research on the development trend of contemporary vocal music education system from the curriculum optimization perspective. In the teaching, because the students interested in learning solfeggio, decided that they have the goal of learning. Learning objectives are the prerequisites for students to generate learning motivation, but also guide the direction of student learning, which reflects the orientation of interest. In concrete teaching process, student association, because has the strong interest to the teacher positive teaching, thus establishes reaches the high-level diligently desire and goal, this will give student’s solfeggio study to bring enormous encouragement and promoter action. But teacher’s strong interest and deep love to the solfeggio teaching has decided the teacher work earnest direction diligently. Under this basis, we propose the development trend of contemporary vocal music education system with in-depth analysis.

College English Curriculum Reform and Practice Based on Culture Cognitive Analysis From the New Media Prospective

With the increase of international cultural exchange, training and strengthening college students＇ cultural cognitive ability is a burgeoning research subject in today＇s foreign language teaching profession of colleges and universities Cross-cultural communication skills and cultural cognition abilities have become an important measure of the ability of the modem language talents. This paper tries to implement a comprehensive reform of college English curriculum system through an empirical research in order to improve students＇ cultural cognitive abilities and cross-cultural communicative competence and change the non-ideal situation in college English teaching. Its valuable experience can greatly promote language teaching and help other universities reform their college English curriculum.

Study of the combination of English and American Literature teaching reform and Multimedia applications

In this paper, the traditional Anglo-American literature courses dictated mainly teachers monotonous way of teaching, we propose the learner and teacher-centered teaching methods and guidance as the core idea of teaching reform, and use modem computer multimedia technology widely to improve the English and American Literature Teaching mode, to the thinking and teaching reform proposed above, we made specific practical strategies and provide a reference for further reform of American and British literature courses.

Research on the Sports Teaching Reform in Colleges and Universities based on Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Interactive Teaching

In this paper, we conduct research on the sports teaching reform in colleges and universities based on theory of the multiple intelligences and interactive teaching. In colleges and universities curriculum reform as an opportunity to introduce outward bound training in colleges and universities sports curriculum, not only can make the college students in the smooth finish school and get good physical and psychological education, and to the healthy positive attitude in the face of social reality, rational choosing, reasonable employment, by providing the best social services, fully realize their social values and personal goals to obtain satisfactory teaching effect. We adopt primary advantage of the multiple intelligences and interactive teaching model to form the novel revised teaching pattern for the college PE classes which will holds significant meaning.

Research on the current situations and countermeasures of the swimming elective course in colleges and universities in Chengdu

In college physical education, swimming elective course is one of the important contents of college physical education. By analyzing the current situation of the college swimming elective course in Chengdu city, the author of this article found that the characteristics of the elective courses of the college students are that the elective courses are diversified, showing the non competitive characteristics. And the author analyzes the characteristics of the swimming elective course, how to better combine with the implementation, and further discusses how to further carry on the reform of the PE teaching, and construct the elective course of the type of the sports club teaching mode. Using the questionnaire survey, the mathematical statistics and other methods, the author analyzes and researches on the status of the teaching of the swimming elective course in 7 universities in Chengdu. The results show that in the current teaching of the swimming elective course, there are some problems existing in the setting of the teaching goals and the curriculum contents, the present situation of the teams of teachers, the guarantee of the teaching materials and the teaching evaluation and other aspects. Aiming at these problems, the author puts forward the reasonable suggestions and the countermeasures, to make the teaching of the swimming elective course more perfect, and also to provide referential significance for the teaching reform of the swimming elective course in the colleges and universities in Chengdu.

The Need for Building Science Education

As the demand for high-performance housing grows, so does the need for improvements in building science education. Trial and error has long been the method for learning how to avoid problems in the construction of energy-efficient housing, including water intrusion and mold growth. Building codes have addressed these issues in prescriptive ways that were not evidence-based. Stricter building codes or builder licensing requirements are not necessarily the solutions to problems associated with misunderstandings about building science. Motivating professionals currently involved in the housing industry to learn through continuing education is a start, but the core problem must be addressed by including building science education in curricula related to architecture, engineering, construction management and other fields. The long-term solution is to include building science education in academic construction management programs. The purpose of this paper is to review the history of what has come to be known as building science and its importance to the residential construction industry. Problems that result from a lack of knowledge about the field are covered and a potential solution is proposed.

The Process of Personalized Learning Based on Flipped Classroom

The new teaching mode of flipped classroom plays an important role in college English teaching reform in China. Personalized learning can be realized by flipped classroom. Firstly, selection and production of the teaching content before class is very important. Secondly, the organization of teaching activities in class should be well prepared. At last, the realization of combining personalized evaluation and integrity evaluation system is a vital issue for teachers to consider.

行业特色高校外语“3+”培养模式创新与实践——以西安某高校高起点班为例

文章在高校人才培养多元化的趋势和大学英语改革的新背景下,以西安某行业特色型高校为例,论述了高起点本科生英语培养方案、目标及课程设置。并通过社会调查和课堂教学实践构建了一个针对高水平本科生的外语培养及教学模式,试图解决目前理工科院校大学英语课程设置不合理及教学模式单一的现象,为当前的高校的外语教育和外语改革提供一定的借鉴和参考作用。
