高职院校“建设工程法规”课程思政的探索与实践——以工程造价专业为例

为落实加强党对职业教育工作的全面领导,实现职业技能和职业精神培养高度融合的要求,“建设工程法规”课程的教学内容决定了教师必须承担起学生法治精神培养等思想政治教育的任务,积极探索课程思政开展的具体方式方法,落实立德树人根本任务。针对高职院校工程造价专业,对“建设工程法规”的思政入课实践方法和教学设计展开探索,基于互动教学,列举主要章节思政元素如何与知识和技能相结合,实现职业能力和职业素质双融合培养。

Curriculum Innovation in Language Teacher Education:Reflections on the PGDELT Program’s Contributions to EFL Teachers’Continuing Professional Development

Initial teacher preparation and teachers’ continuing professional development are two significant pillars of the teacher education enterprise. The former encompasses a wide range of teachereducation initiatives at the levels of diploma, bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, and even master’s degree for teacher licensure purposes. These are widely documented in the literature.What is important is how teacher professional development contributes to bolstering the teachereducator force, which is relatively insufficiently documented due to the very fact that different educational systems have somewhat different expectations of such programs in relation to the ideologies and theories underpinning the teacher professional development program design and curriculum offering. Taking stock of a postgraduate diploma program in English language teaching(PGDELT) for teachers’ continuing professional development with a 31-year history housed at a premier teacher education institution in Singapore, which has successfully graduated over 1, 000 English language teachers for colleges and universities in China, I intend to highlight some of its key features, as a former student and then a lecturer on the program, in order to draw implications for sustainable growth of language teacher education programs, especially those whose main purposes are to prepare teachers of English as a second or foreign language(ESL/EFL) and provide continuing professional development opportunities for such inservice teachers.

Analysis on Promoting the Construction and Development of Campus Culture from Art Education

Colleges and universities, as important educational institutions of training professional personnel, should make a change to the curriculum setting along with the changed demands of market on personnel. In this process, art can be used by them as a key course in teaching. On the one hand, the improvement of art education in colleges and universities can provide students with increasingly more learning opportunities in professional learning, so that the professional quality of students can be promoted to reach a corresponding level in a certain period. On the other hand, art education has exerted a variety of positive roles in promoting the construction of campus culture, and especially has promoted the students in colleges and universities to get objective cultural knowledge in ideology. Therefore, this is analyzed by the author in this paper.

An integrated method for teaching English theoretical courses

The theoretical courses are very important for the students in the postgraduate phase because the students must have a good command of the theories and principles of the field to do their own research later. However, the issue of how to teach English major graduates theoretical courses effectively is the big headache both for teachers and students of English to tackle. The paper aims to introduce an integrated method of teaching English theoretical courses adopted by a teacher in Foreign Language School of Xi＇an Jiaotong University who taught ETTM course （English Teaching Theory and Methodology course）. And the method has employed the collaborative learning strategy and through a survey conducted among the students attended the course, and we find that the method has gained some effective teaching results. And the author of the paper also hopes that more attention should be paid to the probing better ways of teaching theoretical and specialty courses to English major graduates.

Design and production of the network courses based on the database technology

Online teaching is an effective means and the inevitable trend of the development of modern education, its shared educational resources, to expand the scale of education to improve educational efficiency; build a lifelong education system plays an important role. In this paper, by analyzing the common feature of database system and network courses, it proposes a network-based database technology curriculum design and fabrication methods and principles, to make the curriculum from web centric processing teaching content production to around a shared database of teaching resource center changes.

Research on Website Construction of Quality Course based on Network Teaching Platform

through the teaching design of online course quality and application practice, the instructional design process based on B/S learning are analyzed, and discusses several key problems in the design and teaching. The proposed resource-based learning teaching design network course should adapt to the application mode of network teaching and traditional classroom combination; will provide teaching demonstration, teaching content self testing evaluation for students, and to provide jobs for teachers management, online Q ＆ A, BBS, database and knowledge construction and other functions, greatly improving the efficiency of teaching ＂excellent course＂ .

Structured Graduate Programs Design Proposal for UNEXPO Institutions System

The UNEXPO （National Experimental Polytechnic University） system is a public institution dedicated to teaching and researching in engineering area. It was formed to bring together three main institutes located in Venezuelan cities and three more institutes located in rural areas, so that to collectively and collaboratively serve the regions in optimal ways. The academic activity started in 1982 graduating engineers and technicians, although less effort has shown by authorities to develop programs in graduate engineering areas. A proposal for designing a structured graduate program is presented. The structured program presented, will hopefully set the basis to develop graduate and doctoral studies in engineering and related areas to the whole university system, and to achieve academic and social development to the country.

English Language Curricula: A Comparison of University English Departments in a Chinese Province

Many higher education institutions around the world have established quality control systems to maintain standards. This study reports on the issue of comparing English language curricula by means of an institutional review in a northeast province in China in 2012. The study was essentially a qualitative inquiry with data collected online through documents submitted by the institutions and through semi-structured follow-up interviews. Thirty-seven participants from 12 institutions participated in the study. Research findings indicated that curriculum orientations varied across institutions and were reflected in their curriculum designs. Such a modus operandi, it is anticipated, may shed useful light on the understanding of curriculum reform currently being conducted in China in light of the rising demand for, and the needs of, internationalized and localized curricula, as well as providing an understanding of curricula at various institutions.

Teaching Bestsellers： Spring 2009-Spring 2013

This article relates and reflects on my teaching experience spanning from spring 2009 through spring 2013, when I was engaged in constructing and reconstructing a course called ＂Reading Bestsellers.＂ Principles were altered for the course design virtually each semester, starting from an attempt to offer variety in readings, undergoing a plan to downsize the reading list for neatness, and then a challenge to seek a balance between fiction and nonfiction. Despite the change of the principles, one principle has remained unchanged-the overarching principle of trial and error. Given this general guidance, I have reconstructed the course with a choice of high-end bestsellers. I have become aware that there should have been less concern about the boundaries between fiction and nonfiction than about the need to defy narrow categorization whenever necessary. Academic neatness may be desirable but impossible to tackle in-between intricacy, which proves to be the essence of life, and for that matter, the very essence of literature.
