UNI-SPEC:An Instruction Set Description Language

Microprocessor development emphasizes hardware and software co design. Hw/Sw co design is a modern technique aimed at shortening the time to market in designing the real time and embedded systems. Key feature of this approach is simultaneous development of the program tools and the target processor to match software application. An effective co design flow must therefore support automatic software toolkits generation, without loss of optimizing efficiency. This has resulted in a paradigm shift towards a language based design methodology for microprocessor optimization and exploration. This paper proposes a formal grammar, UNI SPEC, which supports the automatic generation of assemblers, to describe the translation rules from assembly to binary. Based on UNI SPEC, it implements two typical applications, i.e., automatically generating the assembler and the test suites.

Research on the Synchronization of Modulation Hopping System:I Synchronization Scheme

In order to achieve fast synchronization of the modulation hopping system, a synchronization scheme called short code to guide long code is adopted, and the initial synchronization hops and service hops are designed in detail.According to the system requirements for short code in the properties of time-varying, safety and balance, an algorithm to design wide-gap chaos short code based on TOD is proposed.Synchronization performance analysis shows that the algorithm has good performance, the initial synchronization time and the later entering network synchronization time are short, additionally, maximum synchronization time difference and synchronization maintaining time are long, all of which meet the needs of normal communications, and further verify the synchronization scheme feasible.

Exploitation and Abuse of Children in ＂Entrepreneurial＂ Purposes

The society of today often likes to brand itself as modem, advanced, civilized, or a society of positive changes. However, it is a fact that the world is confronted with huge contradictions that oppose such qualifications. Obviously, one of the most striking and almost unbelievable realities tells us about inhumane and uncivilized actions of child exploitation in ＂entrepreneurial＂ purposes in the widest range of exploitation and abuse. Current period of economic crisis tells us even more about the rising crisis of moral, which is, in statistical terms, confirmed by a rising number of exploited children in a global framework, and even in some national frameworks as well. With that, some positive results about the diminishing number of exploited children are devaluated. The question is what are the ＂limits＂ of such behavior of groups, organizations, and individuals whose behavior is, obviously, tolerated in the frameworks of certain national economies. Does this behavior have clarity as a part of modem society？ Or, even more severe, for how long can we as a society close our eyes in front of such facts？ Do we even have the right？ In this paper, the authors strive towards focusing and objectifying the global problem of exploitation and abuse of children in ＂entrepreneurial＂ purposes, primarily with the purpose of updating all parts of the society of this paradox and the need of raising the awareness and teaching all relevant factors--from institutions to individuals, with the purpose of resolving and more neutralize the equivalents of this uncivilized and non-entrepreneurial ＂phenomenon＂, as well as approaching the same in the framework of different actions with broadest measures possible and with all disposable assets.

Refurbishment of Significant Timber Structures in Slovakia

The paper presents an analysis and a subsequent refurbishment of significant buildings in Slovakia. The analysis focuses on the load-bearing timber roof-structures. There are three sacral objects and one long-span sporting hall presented. The paper tries to introduce the background of difficult refurbishment process. Before the refurbishment, a thorough process of investigation is required This process includes four basic steps. General information about the load-bearing structure is obtained from the geodetic survey that foregoes the process of diagnostic inspection. The diagnostic survey focuses on the defects of the structure, their degree and possible origin. Modem methods of computer modelling help to understand the structural operation and help to find reserves of carrying capacity. Structural analysis should take into account all detected defects and the joint types, which can influence the transfer of forces. The refurbishment project is usually a brief, but clear summary for fulfilling the needs of Monument Board and building process. All the steps require knowledge from different fields and require professional approach.

Study on the Development and Design of the Souvenirs in Jiangxi Red Revolutionary Museums

Through the analysis on the current situation of the souvenirs in Jiangxi red revolutionary museums, the new design positioning of the souvenirs is discussed, and also the development direction of the souvenirs is studied from culture connotation excavation, buying motivation, buying groups, the combination of design with technology, and pre-sale, in-sale, and after-sale services. On the basis of preserving the traditional revolutionary culture, the revolutionary stories are reshaped using modem design language and science and technology, so that new living space and development direction are given to the souvenirs of red revolution, the sales of the souvenirs are promoted, the economic benefits of the red revolutionary museums are improved, the red tourism is more effectively promoted, and Jiangxi red revolutionary culture is developed and expanded.

Problems and Solutions in Implementing Modern Apprenticeship in Higher Vocational Institutions

With the furthering of educational reform in higher vocational institutions, China＇s vocational education has given a new connotation to modem apprenticeship. The government makes efforts in promoting the modem apprenticeship and this is met with active response of the higher vocational institutions. However, in the practical situation of the higher vocational institutions, the implementation of modem apprenticeship is still faced with lots of problems. It is the author＇s opinion that the government and higher vocational institutions should overall integrate the planning for scientific and systematic designing of the implementation of modem apprenticeship to create an integrated environment for the enterprises to actively participate in the higher vocational education. The institutions and enterprises should join hands in the management of higher vocational education, strengthen the pilot institutionsand promote the apprenticeship to solve the problems in the implementation and enhance the development of the higher vocational education of China.

Investigating the Implications of Virtualization for Digital Forensics

Research in virtualization technology has gained significant developments in recent years, which brings not only opportunities to the forensic community, but challenges as well. This paper discusses the potential roles of virtualization in digital forensics, examines the recent progresses which use the virtualization techniques to support modem computer forensics. The influences on digital forensics caused by virtualization technology are identified. Tools and methods in common digital forensic practices are analyzed, and experiences of our practice and reflections in this field are shared.

The Genoese Commune Massari＇s Ledger of 1340： The First Computer Modeling Experience and Its Results

Since 1865, the scholars from different countries have been studying the Genoese Massari＇s ledger of 1340. The authors have used a fundamentally new approach when studying this famous register. The authors have also analyzed the full-scale financial processes （from registering the expenses of the commune to their coverage by revenue） instead of analyzing some separate transactions which could prove the presence of the double-entry when registering each economic fact. This becomes possible as a result of the reconstruction of medieval entries and registers in the form of a modem account and the construction of the computer model of the whole ledger of 1340. The model of the system is formed according to seven summits of the revenue of the commune, which are distributed upon many factors of registered expenses and united into 17 reporting points. The special attention is paid to the date of the transaction. The authors have found many answers to some questions which were mysteries before. The explanation is given to the sales of goods below the purchasing price and to the exchange of money with significant losses.

Social Myths： A New Approach

Nowadays, the study of myths is rather neglected as a field of research in sociology. There is a void that this paper would like to contribute to filling. It outlines a theoretical and empirical sociological approach to social myths as a major component of collective imaginaries and a universal sociological mechanism through time and space. The article recalls the major functions performed by myths in every society （modem as well as ＂primitive＂）, introduces new concepts, and sets forth an analytical framework designed to account for the emergence, the reproduction, and the decline of myths, as sacralised collective representations.

Comparative Analysis for Different Mathematical Models in Electron Optics

The comparative analysis of modem mathematical models for 3D problems in electron optics is presented. The new approach to solve the electron optics problems in three dimensions is presented. It is based on the principal ray method suggested by G. Grinberg in 1948. That perspective approach was not realized before for full three-dimensional electron optic systems, probably because of the complexity of its mathematical apparatus. We describe the analytical technique of the BEM （boundary element method） for the field evaluation, and 3rd order aberration expansion for the trajectory analysis. The first version of such computer code ＂OPTICS-3＂ and some results of numerical simulations with this code were presented.

A Study on the Reconstruction of Audit Reporting Model of Risk-Oriented Auditing During Post-Financial Crisis Era

The audit profession field is the dominant force to push forward every revision of audit reporting model during many significant revisions before the beginning of the 21 st century, and they have a prominent tendency to protect auditing industry instead of a response to the users＇ information demand for investment decision. Traditional audit reporting model cannot satisfy the need of modem auditing, and it is essential to reconstruct current audit reporting model of modem risk-oriented auditing （MRA） during the post-financial crisis era, because it lacks communication value, valuable information, and effective alert information. The study provides the main contents about the reconstruction plan of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board （PCAOB）： auditor＇s discussion and analysis （AD＆A）, required and expanded use of emphasis paragraphs in the auditor＇s report, auditor assurance on other information outside the financial statements, and clarification of language in the standard auditor＇s report. Then, the study discusses the effects of the reconstruction of audit reporting model on different stakeholders of audit including the auditors, the investors, the regulators, and the researchers.

Ferroresonance at Open Phase Operating Conditions of Power Transformers

The reliability of electric supply to consumers is one of the most important factors that determine the requirements imposed on modem utility companies. This paper presents the results of investigation by computer software of the overvoltages resulting from a ferroresonance conditions in MV networks at open phase operating condition with and without connection to earth on source and load sides of distribution transformer. This overvoltage may reach 4.2 pu on one of the HV side of transformer unswitched phases. The results of the study show that ferroresonance overvoltage may be controlled by replacing fuses with circuit breakers on HV side to ensure switching-off all phases. Insertion of resistor or reactor in the neutral of source and loadsides of the transformer with 5% active load will help in suppressing overvoltages.

Pressure fluctuation propagation of a pump turbine at pump mode under low head condition

Pressure fluctuation at the vaneless space and vanes passages is one of the most important problems for the stable operation of a pump turbine. The fluctuation appears in any operating condition. Much research has been done on the pressure fluctuation of hydraulic machinery. However, the details of pressure fluctuation propagation of the pump turbine at the pump mode have not been revealed. The modem pump turbine with high water head requires the runner to be ＂flat＂, which would induce pressure fluctuation more easily than the low head pump turbine. In this article, a high head pump turbine model is used as the re- search object. As the pressure fluctuation at off-design point is more serious than at the design point, the low head condition is chosen as the research condition. Pressure fluctuation at the vaneless space and vanes passages is predicted by the computa- tional fluid dynamics method based on k-co shear stress transport model. The experiment conducted on the test rig of the Har- bin Institute of Large Electrical Machinery is used to verify the simulation method. It proves that the numerical method is a feasible way to research the fluctuation under this operating condition. The pressure fluctuation along the passage direction is analyzed at time and frequency domains. It is affected mainly by the interaction between the runner and vanes. In the circumferential direction, the influence of the special stay vane on the pressure fluctuation is got. The amplitude in the high-pressure side passage of that vane is lower than that in the other side. The study provides a basic understanding of the pressure fluctua- tion of a pump turbine and could be used as a reference to improve the operation stability of it.
