In a...In this study,the sol-gel method was introduced to prepare the composite phase change material (CPCM). The CPCM was added to fabric with coating techniques and the thermal activity of modified fabric was studied. In addition,the thermal property and the microstructure of CPCM were also discussed in detail by means of polarization microscope and differential scanning calorimeter,respectively. According to the analysis of main influencial factors of the property of CPCM,the optimal preparing technique was determined. It was proved that CPCM could exhibit a good thermal property while phase transformation process took place,and a better appearance of the fabric modified with CPCM could be obtained due to the fact that in a warm circumstance,the liquid-state phase change material could be firmly enwrapped and embedded in the three-dimensional network all the time during the phase transformation. Besides,the fabric treated with CPCM had a high phase-transition enthalpy and an appropriate phase-transition temperature. As a result,a desirable temperature-adjustable function appeared.展开更多
Building equipment, energy-saving systems, and claims of inappropriate indoor thermal environments were analyzed in relation to the floor area using responses to a questionnaire survey of service managers of 157 build...Building equipment, energy-saving systems, and claims of inappropriate indoor thermal environments were analyzed in relation to the floor area using responses to a questionnaire survey of service managers of 157 buildings built in Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo prefectures in Kinki area of Japan. Results show the following: (1) In smaller buildings (〈 5,000 m2), setting temperatures are higher in summer and lower in winter, effects of "uncomfortable radiation from windows" are greater, energy-saving systems decrease indoor thermal comfort, but claims of "hot" and "cold" are fewer; (2) Claims of "hot" and "cold" are unrelated to the setting temperature and whether the air-conditioning control system is central or local; (3) The adoption rates of mitigation of dress codes ("COOL-BIZ" and "WARM-BIZ") are higher than those of temperature mitigation of air conditioning.展开更多
Pneumatic cryogenic control valves(PCCV)are designed to meet the special requirements for the large cryogenic helium refrigeration system.Polychlorotrifluoroethylene(PCTFE)is adopted as the flat seal material of the v...Pneumatic cryogenic control valves(PCCV)are designed to meet the special requirements for the large cryogenic helium refrigeration system.Polychlorotrifluoroethylene(PCTFE)is adopted as the flat seal material of the valve seat.The leakage rates and compressive strain of the PCTFE gasket with different sealing stress are tested at both room temperature(293 K)and liquid nitrogen temperature(77 K).After 300 open/close cycles,the experimental results show that the sealing properties of the PCTFE gasket are improved.The leakage rates are about 10-8(293 K)and 10-4(77 K)Pam3 s-1 respectively.Finally,the effects of working pressure on sealing characteristics are discussed.The working pressure has little effect on compressive strain but it has a great influence on leakage rate.The leakage rate is linear with the working pressure of inlet at room temperature,but at liquid nitrogen temperature the leakage rate is linear with the square of the working pressure.展开更多
