Due to the limited scenes that synthetic aperture radar(SAR)satellites can detect,the full-track utilization rate is not high.Because of the computing and storage limitation of one satellite,it is difficult to process...Due to the limited scenes that synthetic aperture radar(SAR)satellites can detect,the full-track utilization rate is not high.Because of the computing and storage limitation of one satellite,it is difficult to process large amounts of data of spaceborne synthetic aperture radars.It is proposed to use a new method of networked satellite data processing for improving the efficiency of data processing.A multi-satellite distributed SAR real-time processing method based on Chirp Scaling(CS)imaging algorithm is studied in this paper,and a distributed data processing system is built with field programmable gate array(FPGA)chips as the kernel.Different from the traditional CS algorithm processing,the system divides data processing into three stages.The computing tasks are reasonably allocated to different data processing units(i.e.,satellites)in each stage.The method effectively saves computing and storage resources of satellites,improves the utilization rate of a single satellite,and shortens the data processing time.Gaofen-3(GF-3)satellite SAR raw data is processed by the system,with the performance of the method verified.展开更多

When the modulation frequency equals twice of the magnetic field, the entanglement resonance is larger than that at other modulation frequencies and decreases as the number of spins in the chain increases. When the modulation frequency equals the magnetic field, the entanglement resonance can be reduced to a quite low value by varying the coupling along z axis.展开更多

A large number of debris flows occurred simultaneously at around 8:30 to 8:50 a.m.on July 27,2011,at the center of Seoul,Korea.This area is located in the southern part of Seoul and is a densely populated district.As ...A large number of debris flows occurred simultaneously at around 8:30 to 8:50 a.m.on July 27,2011,at the center of Seoul,Korea.This area is located in the southern part of Seoul and is a densely populated district.As a result of the debris flow event,16 people were killed,30 houses were buried,and 116 houses were damaged around Umyeon Mountain,a relatively small mountain with a height of 312.6 m.Since the debris flow event,field investigations on the initiation and transportation zones of debris flows have been carried out.Rainfall data were collected from the automatic weather stations(AWSs) which are operated by the Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA).Video files recorded by residents were also acquired and used to analyze the flow characteristics of the debris flow.Field investigation shows that about 40 debris flows occurred around Umyeon Mountain and most of the debris flows were initiated by small slope failures.The effects of the precipitation that triggered the debris flows were analyzed as well.A landslide hazard map which considers slope gradient and aspect,strength of soil,hazard record,rainfall conditions,and vegetation,was constructed and compared with the initiation zones of debris flows.展开更多
We have studied the effect of phase shifted frequency modulation on two level atom with field interaction using Jaynes-Cummings model.Here the frequency of the interacting field is sinusoidally varying with time with ...We have studied the effect of phase shifted frequency modulation on two level atom with field interaction using Jaynes-Cummings model.Here the frequency of the interacting field is sinusoidally varying with time with a constant phase.Due to the presence of phase in the frequency modulation,the variation of population inversion with time is different from the standard case.There are no exact collapses and revivals in the variation of population inversion but it oscillates sinusoidally with time.In coherent field atom interaction the population inversion behaves as in the case of Fock state atom interaction,when frequency modulation with a non zero phase is applied.The study done with squeezed field has shown the same behavior of the population inversion.展开更多

The pulse frequency-shift keying(FSK) modulation scheme is studied and improved in order to reduce the bit error rate(BER), and is put into practice on a field programmable gate array(FPGA). The mathematical models of the modulation and demodulation are established. A test platform is set up to measure the energy density and pulse response under different distances and receiver elevation angles. It is shown that the omnibearing communication can be realized, and the bit rate is limited to 12.5 Mbit/s. The BER is estimated to be less than 10-7 at distance of 300 m in line-of-sight(LOS) communication model and to be less than 10-6 at distance of 80 m in non-line-of-sight(NLOS) communication model.展开更多
