Alpha-synuclein plays an important role in Parkinson's disease(PD).The current study of alpha-synuclein mainly concentrates at the gene level.However, it is found that the study at the protein level has special si...Alpha-synuclein plays an important role in Parkinson's disease(PD).The current study of alpha-synuclein mainly concentrates at the gene level.However, it is found that the study at the protein level has special significance.Meanwhile, there is free information on the Internet, such as databases and algorithms of protein-protein interactions(PPIs).In this paper, a novel method which integrates distributed heterogeneous data sources and algorithms to predict PPIs for alpha-synuclein in silico is proposed.The PPIs generated by the method take advantage of various experimental data, and indicate new information about PPIs for alpha-synuclein.In the end of this paper, the result illustrates that the method is practical.It is hoped that the prediction result obtained by this method can provide guidance for biological experiments of PPIs for alpha-synuclein to reveal possible mechanisms of PD.展开更多

In this study, coated and uncoated carbide tools were used in dr...Compacted graphite cast iron (CG1) has been the material for high-power diesel engines recently, but its increased strength causes poor machinability. In this study, coated and uncoated carbide tools were used in dry milling experiment and FEM simulation to study the machinability of CGI and wear behaviour of tools. The experimental and FEM simulation results show that coated tool has great advantage in dry milling of CGI. SEM and EDS analysis of tool wear indicate the wear morphology and wear mechanism. Adhesive wear is the main mechanism to cause un- coated tool wear, while abrasive wear and delamination wear are the main mechanism to cause coated tool wear. However, despite the abundance of ...In the last several decades, circulating fluidized bed reactors have been studied in many aspects including hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer and gas–solid two phase contacting. However, despite the abundance of review papers on hydrodynamics, there is no summary paper on gas–solid contact efficiency to date, especially on high density circulating fluidized beds(CFBs). This paper gives an introduction to, and a review of the measurement of contact efficiency in circulating fluidized bed riser. Firstly, the popular testing method of contact efficiency including the method of heating transfer experiment and hot model reaction are discussed, then previous published papers are reviewed based on the discussed methods. Some key results of the experimental work are described and discussed. Gas–solid contact efficiency is affected by the operating conditions as well as the particle size distribution. The result of the contact efficiency shows that the CFB riser is far away from an ideal plug flow reactor due to the characteristics of hydrodynamics in the riser. Lacunae in the available literature have been delineated and recommendations have been made for further work.展开更多

The results that measured by the probe method are well consistent with those of QTM-D_2. The soil thermal conductivity increases in different levels with the increase of the water content. Compared the soil thermal conductivity measured by the probe method in laboratory with in-situ experiment,it shows that the measuring gap gradually increases with the increase of the depth. The reason is that the in-situ measuring thermal conductivity can reflect the actual situation of the soil mass.展开更多
Liquid chromatography coupled with the triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(LC-QQQ MS)technique is the most commonly used technique for quantitative analysis.It is widely used in pharmacology,targeted metabolomics,Chin...Liquid chromatography coupled with the triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(LC-QQQ MS)technique is the most commonly used technique for quantitative analysis.It is widely used in pharmacology,targeted metabolomics,Chinese medicine quality control,and other research fields.The technique monitors only characteristic precursors and product ions through multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)mode and can detect targeted molecules in complex matrix with high specificity and sensitivity.In the present study,a diarylamide derivative diuretic was used as an example to introduce the method establishment and parameter optimization of this liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technique.Diuretic and its internal standard could be completely separated within a 5-min gradient,and the quantitative linear range was 1–1000 ng/mL with R2=0.9996 in practical samples.This study showed that the key to the method development for LC-QQQ MS was the selection of the LC mobile phase,the elution gradient,the declustering potential,and the collision energy of compounds in MS.展开更多

This is because it is easily influenced by hu...The conventional quality control method of core rocldill dam construction exhibit difficulty controlling compaction parameters accurately or ensuring construction quality. This is because it is easily influenced by human behavior or lack of adequate management. We therefore establish the timely monitoring indexes and control criteria of compaction processes by considering the characteristics and quality requirements of high core rockffll dam construction. Based on the established indexes and criteria, integrating GPS, GPRS and PDA technologies, a real-time compaction quality monitoring method is proposed. The relevant key techniques are proposed as well, including automatic collection of information and a graphic algorithm for rolling-process visualization. By the proposed method and techniques, a real-time monitoring system is provided to realize the precise automatic online entire-process monitoring of compaction parameters, including compaction pass, rolling trajectory, nmning speed of roller, vibration status and rolled pavement thickness. The application of the Nuozhadu project shows that the proposed system can control compaction parameters effectively and ensure better construction quality. Therefore, it might become a new way towards construction quality control of high core rockfill dam.展开更多
